Good thing everyone is posting their lists, i had entirely forgotten it was starting lmao

I'm not gonna count things I'm reading on a daily basis like Dracula or the Two Towers (I'm reading one chapter per day cause i get bored haha) but here's my tentative reading list:

- Yerba Buena by Nina Lacour (59/238 at the beginning of the readathon) -> 179 pages

- Long Shadow by Olivia Atwater (0/258) -> 258 pages

- The First Binding by R.R. Virdi (0/817) -> 817 pages

That's a total of 1254 pages!! Idk if I'll actually get there but we'll see 👀

Hey guys! I will be participating in the lovely @books-and-cookies’ 1kpages readathon! This almost feels like a tradition for me lmao.

Here are the books I’m planning on reading:

The Bone Spindle by Leslie Vedder - 97/404 pages - I’ve started reading this book recently but haven’t been able to get a break and enjoy it. I roughly have about 307 pages left to read. I’m really liking it so far! It’s giving me Uncharted Lost Legacy vibes with some magical elements!

Spy x Family Vol 1 by Tatsuya Endo - 220 pages - This manga has been pretty popular and from the sound of the premise, I’m not surprised! It sounds like a found family in the making, which I LOVE! I can’t wait to read this!

Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater - 320 pages - So, my friend @logarithmicpanda really enjoyed this book and when they mentioned it being warm and fuzzy, I knew I needed to get this book! So, thanks Panda!

A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro - 321 pages- I’ve been in a mystery kind of mood and I’ve had this on my tbr for a while, so I thought it’s about time I get to it lol.

Total pages I’m hoping to read: 1,168

Four seems like a satisfying number for me when it comes to creating a tbr lol. It would be great to finish all four books during the readathon but I won’t hold my breath.

Started Cytonic today. It is so good omg ✨ I'm loving the interlude chapters between Jorgen and Spensa 🥺 they are so sweet!

5 SECOND REVIEW

* this was brutal

* unlikable characters all around, it's been a while since i've read a book where i pretty much hated everyone 😂

* it takes mean girls to a whole different level

* visceral and unforgiving, with really really good writing

* it made me uncomfortable at times, and it's a great portrayal of toxic friendships

* trigger warning for sexual assault and a very graphic suicide scene

* 4/5 ⭐️

1k pages readathon update #1

it's the end of monday and my long weekend is over and i've spent most of the weekend reading in bed.

finished reading the word is murder by anthony horowitz and it was a fun mystery novel and i will definitely continue the series. (4.5 stars)

finished reading the girl in kellers way by megan goldin and it was an interesting book. the mystery kept me hooked but i felt like i still wanted more answers from it (4 stars)

currently reading the darkest corners by kara thomas and it's going great

i won't be able to read much during the work week so the next update might just be over the weekend ✨

1K Pages Readathon - Days 2 and 3

Finished The Shadow of The Wind 🍃 Wish there was less misery in it. The story kept getting sadder and sadder. It still gets 4⭐ because I enjoyed the mystery.

I also read chapters 4 to 12 of the audiobook for Husband Material by Alexis Hall (Will count the pages at the very end).

Next up: ReDawn (Skyward Flight #2) by Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson

Pages read today: 144 + 8 audiobook chapters
