It wasn’t that Louis didn’t want to see Harry’s latest film; it was a tragically pathetic fact that Louis had watched every single show and film, every interview, every red carpet that Harry had done since his ex-boyfriend had decided to leave Uni in the second year and pursue an acting career.

It's just that he wanted to watch it on his own, in his flat, with a soft blanket, beer, ice cream, and a large box of tissues.

Sign-ups: 1st January at 5:00pm CET to 28th January 2024 at 5:00PM CET.

Check-in: 13th April 2024.

Deadline: 1st June 2024.

Rules:

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

You must have an AO3 account to participate in the fest. If you do not have one, request an invitation to create an AO3 account here.

Minimum word count is 5k. There is no maximum.

No WIPs allowed; fics must be completed when posted.

This is not an anonymous fest, so don’t hesitate to share your snippets! Tag this blog or tag our account on Twitter!

The main pairing for the fic must include at least one former One Direction member.

All fics should be tagged appropriately, as the content won't be monitored.

Sign-ups will be first-come first-served if you are choosing a prompt from the prompt list, or you can choose to write your own prompt.

You may sign up for a second prompt two weeks into the sign up period

Your fics must have an accompanying visual of some kind. This can include moodboards, fan art, trailers, etc.

When the time comes to post your fic, you may post to your Twitter or Tumblr account and tag us so we can retweet/reblog, or we can post your fic for you.

Keep it drama-free! The fest is open to everyone, so please respect everyone who participates.

Summary:

“Who the fuck are you?” Harry screeches and jumps back in surprise. The man drops the popcorn bowl on the carpet and stands up, raising his hands in surrender, “Hey, it's me.” Harry frowns. He has never seen this man in his life. He stares at the wide blue eyes and… holy shit. There's no way. Harry rephrases his question, “what are you?" Or Harry is a Good Samaritan, and makes delicious sugar cookies to hand out for free. Louis is a cat hybrid who is hungry and sort of searching for a home, so he sneakily steals one of Harry's cookies, not knowing they were free. They meet.

1D Trick Or Treat Fest 2023!

Can you believe this is our fifth year?! We're super excited for another spooky round of this frightening mini-fest of One Direction ficlets that helps us celebrate our favourite holiday season - Halloween 🎃👻🕷

Rules:

Participants must be 18 years+.

Word count must be exactly 666 words long when posted to AO3.

Ficlet should have a clear Halloween or spooky/scary theme.

Must include at least one member of One Direction.

Any rating/pairing is allowed and content is not moderated, but please tag submissions appropriately.

This fest is not anonymous.

Authors can submit more than one ficlet, but each ficlet must be a stand-alone story to meet the challenge.

No sign-ups. If you would like to take part, simply post your ficlet to the AO3 collection no later than midnight (your time) on Sunday 29th October.

Bothy: A bothy is a basic shelter, usually left unlocked and available for anyone to use free of charge. Bothies are found in remote mountainous areas of Scotland, Northern England, Ulster and Wales. They are particularly common in the Scottish Highlands, but related buildings can be found around the world (for example, in the Nordic countries, there are wilderness huts).

A hiking holiday in the Scottish Highlands goes wrong for Omega Harry. Will Louis come to his rescue, or will their years of bickering stand in the way?
