April 01st, 2015: Strange hiding places

TJ, RD and MM were talking to me while I was drawing something.

“Can I have your phone for a second,please?” TJ asked me and the question got me so off guard that I just gave him my phone without thinking about it.

Suddenly I got a phone call and since the phone was in TJ’s hands he answered it.

“Hello?” he answered the call with his really deep vioce. He had a naturally deep vioce.

I took the phone out of his hands as quickly as possible and started to talk to the person who had called.Apperently it was a woman who wanted to talk to my mother. She was talking about many things until she said she wanted that.

So the whole time she was talking a had in thought in mind which was if she’d ask who it was in the beginnig I’ll say it was the televion.

I told that woman I’m not at home and I’ll tell my mother to call her back once I get back.And while telling her that and listening to her answer, I looked at TJ and interwind our fingers and let my forehead down on his shoulder and whispered: I’m dead. Dead,dead,dead.

I finally hung up and started to pack my pencils and evreything that I had left on the table. I showed RD and MM the 3 little ducks I had drawn earlier.

“Damn these are some cute little ducks! You’re good at drawing.” RD said smiling and touching the little ducks. MM nodded at that. I left as fast as I could. And by leaving I mean my freind (who had been there the whole time without me noticing it) and I needed to get to her house , because as an excuse we said we’re working on a project for physic lessons.

[One day later at school, still in the dream]

My friend and I were sitting in our classroom, having English class. Suddenly we heared knocks. Our teacher went to open the door. She came to us with a smile on her face and told us to go outside.

We opened the door and stepped aside when we saw TJ,RD and MM!

We skipped class which was fine because our teacher is so nice to us. We went up some stairs to the attic of the school and chilled there.

We had a nice time talking and joking, until we heared some footsteps and ran to hide ourselves. RD and my freind went to the right while TJ and I went to the left.

In that room there were tables and it was like very narrow, that’s why TJ sat me on a table. He kissed me. With heaving breathing MM came to us and smiled as he saw our shoked faces

[One day later at school, still in that dream]

During break I got a message to meet TJ at anohter building of our school in the room where all old documents and archived paper were. When I arrived there he kissed me again, but this time I pushed him away and said that my friend won’t like that since she watches his videos and has a crush on him. It wouldn’t be fair because she liked him first.

“ I’m sure she doesn’t even think about me right now. RD called her, if you know what I mean”

We both laughed at that.

183/365 "The Man Who Stole The Night" par Kent MacDonald Via Flickr : 01.04.15 Today has been a nice productive day. It was the only day I actually had to sleep in but I got up nice and early to take this little number. I'd say out of some of my recent shots I am Happy with it. It's actually another shot I was going to do for the concept "The Catalyst of Light" for Concept Collaboration. but I just never got around to doing it. The idea that I had is that the night is being stolen away. The moon being a light bulb and the fixture hang empty waiting to be replaced. There a lot of hidden meaning that I don't want to spoil for you. I was actually holding a bike tire to reference where the moon would be. And then if you look closely the moon is a little transparent like a light bulb and you can see me though it :) The little things, am I right? I'm out for today, have a good one :)

Πρόσκληση Εκδήλωσης Ενδιαφέροντος για εισαγωγή μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών στο Δ.Π.Μ.Σ. του Τμήματος Ιατρικής με τίτλο " Πληροφορική Επιστημών Ζωής" για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2020-2021

Τα Τμήματα Ιατρικής, Μηχανικών Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών & Πληροφορικής, Φαρμακευτικής και Βιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, ανακοινώνουν ότι κατά το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2020-2021 θα λειτουργήσουν το Διατμηματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών στην «Πληροφορική Επιστημών Ζωής», το οποίο έχει ιδρυθεί από το Υπουργείο Εθνικής Παιδείας και Θρησκευμάτων με την Υπουργική Απόφαση 80270/Β7/24.10.03 (ΦΕΚ 1630 τ.Β’ 6.11.03), όπως τροποποιήθηκε με τις διατάξεις των Υπουργικών Αποφάσεων 175417/Β7/29.10.14 (ΦΕΚ 3030/10.11.14 τ.Β’) και 512/4200/06.03.15 (ΦΕΚ 491/01.04.15 τ.Β’) και επανιδρύθηκε με την υπ’ αριθμ. 814/12742 Απόφαση (ΦΕΚ 1632/10.05.2018 τ.Β’) και ισχύει, όπως ενεκρίθη από τη Σύγκλητο του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (αρ. συνεδρ. 134/20.04.2018) και τις Συνελεύσεις των Τμημάτων Ιατρικής (αρ. συνεδρ. 695/19.03.2018), Μηχανικών Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών και Πληροφορικής (αρ. συνεδρ. 132/17.04.2018), Φαρμακευτικής (αρ. συνεδρ. 425/28.03.2018) και Βιολογίας (αρ. συνεδρ. 12/19.04.2018) του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών. Διέπεται από τις διατάξεις τoυ νόμου 4485/2017, του Εσωτερικού Κανονισμού Λειτουργίας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών για τις Μεταπτυχιακές Σπουδές καθώς και του Κανονισμού Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του ΔΠΜΣ, σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις της υπ’ αριθμ. Απόφασης 1379/21010 (ΦΕΚ 2972/24.07.2018 τ.Β’).

Το ΔΠΜΣ «Πληροφορική Επιστημών Ζωής» οδηγεί στην απονομή Διπλώματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (ΔΜΣ) στις ακόλουθες ειδικεύσεις: Α. Βιοπληροφορική Β. Ιατρική Πληροφορική

1. Κατηγορίες εισακτέων: Στο Διατμηματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών γίνονται δεκτοί πτυχιούχοι Τμημάτων Βιο-Επιστημών (Ιατρική, Βιολογία, Φαρμακευτική, Νοσηλευτική, Χημεία κλπ), Τμημάτων σχετικών με την Πληροφορική καθώς και συναφών Τμημάτων Ανώτατων Εκπαιδευτικών Ιδρυμάτων της ημεδαπής ή αναγνωρισμένων ομοταγών Ιδρυμάτων της αλλοδαπής, των οποίων το πτυχίο έχει αναγνωριστεί από το ΔΟΑΤΑΠ. Αίτηση μπορούν να υποβάλουν και τελειόφοιτοι των παραπάνω Τμημάτων της ημεδαπής, υπό την προϋπόθεση ότι θα έχουν προσκομίσει Βεβαίωση Περάτωσης Σπουδών το αργότερο μέχρι την ημερομηνία της ΕΔΕ που θα εγκρίνει τους επιλεγέντες φοιτητές. Οι επιλεγέντες θα πρέπει να προσκομίσουν όλα τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά μέχρι τη λήξη των εγγραφών.

2. Αριθμός εισακτέων: Ο αριθμός των εισακτέων ορίζεται κατ’ ανώτατο όριο στους τριάντα (30).

3. Χρονική διάρκεια: Η χρονική διάρκεια του ΔΠΜΣ ορίζεται σε τρία (3) εξάμηνα.

4. Τέλη φοίτησης: Στο ΔΠΜΣ δεν απαιτείται η καταβολή τελών φοίτησης από τους μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές.

5. Δικαιολογητικά υποψηφιότητας: Οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να καταθέσουν στη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (Ισόγειο Κτιρίου Προκλινικών Λειτουργιών) τα παρακάτω δικαιολογητικά:  Αίτηση έντυπη (χορηγείται από τη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και στους ιστότοπους του προγράμματος http://pez.upatras.gr/ και του Τμήματος Ιατρικής https://www.med.upatras.gr).  Σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα.  Φωτοτυπία αστυνομικής ταυτότητας ή διαβατηρίου.  Αντίγραφο πτυχίου ή διπλώματος, με αναγνώριση από τον ΔΟΑΤΑΠ εφ’ όσον έχει αποκτηθεί από ΑΕΙ της Αλλοδαπής.  Πιστοποιητικό αναλυτικής βαθμολογίας.  Αποδεικτικά στοιχεία (διπλώματα, αντίγραφα αποτελεσμάτων εξετάσεων) γνώσης της αγγλικής γλώσσας και άλλων ξένων γλωσσών εφόσον υπάρχουν.  Τρεις συστατικές επιστολές σε φακέλους σφραγισμένους από τους συντάξαντες (ονοματεπώνυμο, τίτλος, διεύθυνση και τηλέφωνο του συντάξαντος αναγράφονται και στην αίτηση του υποψηφίου).  Περίληψη διπλωματικής εργασίας (εφ’ όσον υπάρχει).  Αντίγραφα επιστημονικών δημοσιεύσεων και πιστοποιητικά συμμετοχής σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα, σχετικής εμπειρίας κλπ (εφ’ όσον υπάρχουν).

 Η αίτηση για την εισαγωγή μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών στο ΔΠΜΣ "Πληροφορική Επιστημών Ζωής" θα πρέπει να κατατεθεί και ηλεκτρονικά στη διεύθυνση: https://matrix.upatras.gr/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zups_pg_adm# Η δικτυακή πύλη θα είναι διαθέσιμη από 15.06.2020 έως και 11.09.2020.

Οι αιτήσεις και τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά πρέπει να κατατεθούν το αργότερο μέχρι και την 11η Σεπτεμβρίου 2020, ταχυδρομικώς με συστημένη επιστολή σε φάκελο με την ένδειξη: «Αίτηση Υποψηφιότητας ΔΠΜΣ ΠΕΖ» στη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Ιατρικής (ισόγειο κτιρίου Προκλινικών Λειτουργιών).

6. Επιλογή εισακτέων: Η επιλογή των μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών θα γίνει από την Επιτροπή Αξιολόγησης των εισακτέων με συνεκτίμηση των παρακάτω κριτηρίων και προϋποθέσεων: Α) Βαθμός διπλώματος ή πτυχίου (θα εξετάζεται κατά περίπτωση η συνάφεια του διπλώματος ή πτυχίου με την ειδίκευση του Προγράμματος). Β) Βαθμολογία στα προπτυχιακά μαθήματα που είναι σχετικά με το Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών. Γ) Επίδοση σε τυχόν διπλωματική εργασία. Δ) Τυχόν ερευνητική δραστηριότητα, σχετική εμπειρία και δημοσιεύσεις. Ε) Συστατικές επιστολές. ΣΤ) Καλή γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας, γνώση άλλων ξένων γλωσσών, ικανότητα χρήσης Η/Υ. Ζ) Αξιολόγηση επιλεγμένων υποψηφίων με συνέντευξη ενώπιον της Επιτροπής Αξιολόγησης. Η συνέντευξη προβλέπεται να πραγματοποιηθεί στις 21.09.2020 και 22.09.2020.

7. Έναρξη μαθημάτων για το ακαδ. έτος 2020-2021: Προγραμματιζόμενη έναρξη μαθημάτων: Δευτέρα 12 Οκτωβρίου 2020.

In early April of 2015, Harry Styles spent some time off to visit the Lalela Project in Cape Town, during a brief break before One Direction’s On The Road Again Tour was to perform in the area. The Lalela Project helps impoverished children and young adults, many who have been victims of extreme poverty, armed conflict or displacement, and deadly diseases like malaria and tuberculosis.(pic credit to Lalela Project)

Lalela Project uses art to improve the mental, emotional and spiritual health of children and to create opportunities to enrich their lives through art education, giving them opportunities to a fulfilling and productive future. Here are some of their recent projects shared from their Instagram (photo credits to Lalelah Project Instagram):

Harry spoke with the teachers and students at length about their individual projects, how Lalela Project has helped them, and to what they aspire for their future. He built quite a rapport with them and even offered all the students free tickets to One Direction’s upcoming show there! Not only was Harry’s visit important to the staff and students of Lalela Project (and to him),but it also helped to bring this project some attention to their amazing work and help with donations to continue this life-changing opportunity to the children in South Africa.

Τα Τμήματα Ιατρικής, Μηχανικών Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών & Πληροφορικής, Φαρμακευτικής και Βιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, ανακοινώνουν ότι κατά το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2019-2020 θα λειτουργήσουν το Διατμηματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών στην «Πληροφορική Επιστημών Ζωής», το οποίο έχει ιδρυθεί από το Υπουργείο Εθνικής Παιδείας και Θρησκευμάτων με την Υπουργική Απόφαση 80270/Β7/24.10.03 (ΦΕΚ 1630 τ.Β’ 6.11.03), όπως τροποποιήθηκε με τις διατάξεις των Υπουργικών Αποφάσεων 175417/Β7/29.10.14 (ΦΕΚ 3030/10.11.14 τ.Β’) και 512/4200/06.03.15 (ΦΕΚ 491/01.04.15 τ.Β’) και επανιδρύθηκε με την υπ’ αριθμ. 814/12742 Απόφαση (ΦΕΚ 1632/10.05.2018 τ.Β’) και ισχύει, όπως ενεκρίθη από τη Σύγκλητο του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (αρ. συνεδρ. 134/20.04.2018) και τις Συνελεύσεις των Τμημάτων Ιατρικής (αρ. συνεδρ. 695/19.03.2018), Μηχανικών Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών και Πληροφορικής (αρ. συνεδρ. 132/17.04.2018), Φαρμακευτικής (αρ. συνεδρ. 425/28.03.2018) και Βιολογίας (αρ. συνεδρ. 12/19.04.2018) του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών. Διέπεται από τις διατάξεις τoυ νόμου 4485/2017, του Εσωτερικού Κανονισμού Λειτουργίας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών για τις Μεταπτυχιακές Σπουδές καθώς και του Κανονισμού Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του ΔΠΜΣ, σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις της υπ’ αριθμ. Απόφασης 1379/21010 (ΦΕΚ 2972/24.07.2018 τ.Β’).

2. Αριθμός εισακτέων: Ο αριθμός των εισακτέων ορίζεται κατ’ ανώτατο όριο στους τριάντα (30).

3. Χρονική διάρκεια: Η χρονική διάρκεια του ΔΠΜΣ ορίζεται σε τρία (3) εξάμηνα.

4. Τέλη φοίτησης: Στο ΔΠΜΣ δεν απαιτείται η καταβολή τελών φοίτησης από τους μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές.

5. Δικαιολογητικά υποψηφιότητας: Οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να υποβάλουν στη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (Ισόγειο Κτιρίου Προκλινικών Λειτουργιών) τα παρακάτω δικαιολογητικά:  Αίτηση έντυπη (χορηγείται από τη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και στους ιστότοπους του προγράμματος pez.upatras.gr και του Τμήματος Ιατρικής med.upatras.gr).  Σύντομο βιογραφικό σημείωμα.  Φωτοτυπία αστυνομικής ταυτότητας ή διαβατηρίου.  Αντίγραφο πτυχίου ή διπλώματος, με αναγνώριση από τον ΔΟΑΤΑΠ εφ’ όσον έχει αποκτηθεί από ΑΕΙ της Αλλοδαπής.  Πιστοποιητικό αναλυτικής βαθμολογίας.  Αποδεικτικά στοιχεία (διπλώματα, αντίγραφα αποτελεσμάτων εξετάσεων). γνώσης της αγγλικής γλώσσας και άλλων ξένων γλωσσών εφόσον υπάρχουν ή της Ελληνικής για τους αλλοδαπούς.  Τρεις συστατικές επιστολές σε φακέλους σφραγισμένους από τους συντάξαντες (ονοματεπώνυμο, τίτλος, διεύθυνση και τηλέφωνο του συντάξαντος αναγράφονται και στην αίτηση του υποψηφίου).  Περίληψη διπλωματικής εργασίας (εφ’ όσον υπάρχει).  Αντίγραφα επιστημονικών δημοσιεύσεων και πιστοποιητικά συμμετοχής σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα, σχετικής εμπειρίας κλπ (εφ’ όσον υπάρχουν).

Οι αιτήσεις και τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά πρέπει να κατατεθούν το αργότερο μέχρι και την 13η Σεπτεμβρίου 2019, από τον ίδιο τον ενδιαφερόμενο ή νομίμως εξουσιοδοτημένο εκπρόσωπό του, ή ταχυδρομικά με συστημένη επιστολή σε φάκελο με την ένδειξη: «Αίτηση Υποψηφιότητας ΔΠΜΣ ΠΕΖ» στη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Ιατρικής (ισόγειο κτιρίου Προκλινικών Λειτουργιών).

6. Επιλογή εισακτέων: Η επιλογή των μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών θα γίνει από την Επιτροπή Αξιολόγησης των εισακτέων με συνεκτίμηση των παρακάτω κριτηρίων και προϋποθέσεων: Α) Βαθμός διπλώματος ή πτυχίου (θα εξετάζεται κατά περίπτωση η συνάφεια του διπλώματος ή πτυχίου με την ειδίκευση του Προγράμματος). Β) Βαθμολογία στα προπτυχιακά μαθήματα σχετικά με το Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών. Γ) Επίδοση σε τυχόν διπλωματική εργασία. Δ) Τυχόν ερευνητική δραστηριότητα, σχετική εμπειρία και δημοσιεύσεις. Ε) Συστατικές επιστολές. ΣΤ) Καλή γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας, καθώς και της ελληνικής για τους αλλοδαπούς, η οποία πιστοποιείται από αναγνωρισμένο τίτλο σπουδών ή με ειδική εξέταση. Ζ) Αξιολόγηση επιλεγμένων υποψηφίων με συνέντευξη ενώπιον της Επιτροπής Αξιολόγησης. Η συνέντευξη προβλέπεται να πραγματοποιηθεί στις 23.09.19 και 24.09.19.

7. Έναρξη μαθημάτων για το ακαδ. έτος 2019-20: Προγραμματιζόμενη έναρξη μαθημάτων: Δευτέρα 14 Οκτωβρίου 2019.
