Hope for Restoration

“At that time, declares the Lord, I will be the God of all the clans of Israel, and they shall be my people.” Thus says the Lord: “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when Israel sought for rest, the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel! Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines and shall go forth in the dance of the merrymakers. Again you shall plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant and shall enjoy the fruit.“

Heart:

God is the God of hope and restoration.

God says in Jeremiah 29 : “For thus says the Lord: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.“ ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭10‬-‭14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Israel did evil in the eyes of God and yet He restores them because they turned to God.

In Him, there is Hope and Restoration. When you feel like there is no hope in your life right now because of your choices/decisions. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT GOD IS A GOD OF HOPE AND RESTORATION. He loves us deeply that He is willing to forgive us from all our unrighteousness.

Application:

I will show the same grace and compassion that God had show me.

I will train myself to forgive and to show Kingdom Character to other people.

To reflect Christ in every aspect of my life.
