this is constantly on my mind when it comes to sb animatronic pg — especially seeing how things are going with ch.uck e ch.eese locations irl, i have 0 doubt that he would be updated to like. A screen head in sb as opposed to a phone. but that’s absolutely tragic to me and I want to be able to use icons so to fudge it & say he can keep his old design even in sb i think im going with the idea that he’s had the fewest cosmetic updates (and kind of,, ALL updates) of any of the classics. like he didn’t get a toy line version, they just reused the old model from the previous location. he doesn’t update with different trends like the others do (like “rockstar” versions etc etc), although I do think the fashion of his outfits might change here & there. he’s not a performer so he doesn’t really have to look that exciting, and he is technically designed to “”””relate”””” to adults as well, so i think the amount of glam & color & stuff that the others get to appeal to kids doesn’t get translated into his models anyway.

he’s retained his classic phone design both as a “retro” kind of thing & bc those are pretty easily recognizable n stuff (like,, how people still mime taking a phonecall by representing a receiver even tho modern cellphones don’t have those etc). so i think if his likeness is used on information signs etc as well it’s a cuter / better / more recognizable image to have a little drawing of a classic phone ringing than a touchscreen thing. s.so see it all makes sense :) yeah

so I'm playing a pathetic wet dog charlatan Warlock, right, and his whole thing is just lying all the time. Deception through the roof. So Astarion loves that but he doesn't love that we keep committing acts of basic human decency. RIGHT in front of his salad. So he's lukewarm on us.

Gale, though. Gale LOVES basic human decency. I romanced him by accident and then a little on purpose because I was curious but he keeps saying things like "haha bestie you're SO fun to be around," and I'm NOT!! I'm not. Gale, this is a wet dog. I'll romance Gale for me, on my own time, but this character can't have him, it just doesn't work. So I'm gonna make another save.

But in the meantime I've already made a second character just because a bug is stalling my main game, and I said OK. OK, I have to find out what this wretched little elf is all about. Get him under the microscope of romance. Now in every pairing there must be "Could Snap You Like a Twig" and "A Twig." So I made an Oath of Vengeance Paladin. Strength build! Healing spells! Vengeance! It's perfect. I'm setting them up to kiss.

BUT WAIT!!! BECAUSE I'm playing THIS character with less guile and more force, we've barely met the goblins and HERE COMES LAE'ZEL WITH THE STEEL CHAIR, DESIRING ME CARNALLY. And I can't say NO!! She's so straightforward. Her eyes are so green.

s.so uh. I guess I have to play this game,, a fourth t,ime,,,,
