unrelated but I’ve seen an increase of shippers on twitter being like ‘oh my god 4halo is finally canon I can’t wait for them to get married’ and like congratulations but. q!bbh has looked down on marriage presumably for as long as we’ve known him - he says it multiple times. Like q!BBH hated marriage before but now he’s got a billion more reasons to avoid it. Especially with q!Forever, even if he’s no longer drugged. And q!Forever does too? I'm not sure if you been asked this before but, what would Hunter's reaction upon seeing Belos again after "Disappeared"? Because we know Hunter knows what his uncle looks like underneath the mask.

so I drew this all at like 2 am but!!! Itd go something like this (I apologize in advance if it looks like a hot mess in advance)

he just keeps on seeing him like out of the corner of his eye but he can NEVER get to him. hunter is questioning whether or not that is his uncle because seeing the emperor in casual clothing feels like a fever dream but eventually it culminates into something along these lines

the idea is that hunter spends the rest of the day (after realizing phil = belos who lost his memory) trying to get his memory working and to get him to remember being the emperor but he keeps on being interrupted every time.

eventually he gives up and gets forcibly integrated into the house of owl

Imagining Serot's dialogue in Rami Malek's voice is sometimes so much more amusing to me than it should be. Because Malek has this wonderful, humming drawl to his voice, calming, but always a bit wry. Unless he does something dramatic to his tone / body language, there's not a great difference between his normal speaking voice and his sarcastic one. I love his demeanor, frankly.

My point is, though, it is more amusing to me than it ought to be to imagine Serot just messing with people sometimes. (His default settings are amused and curious.) For example —

Somebody: So what do mummies do? When they catch you? Zombies eat your brains; vampires drink your blood; but what do mummies do? Serot: Of course they steal your organs. Sb: Your organs? Serot: Mhm.
