The Deeper Meanings of Name Cloaks. Unless...?
I would find it so funny if we randomly meet a wizard with a name cloak of a proper noun that doesn't have another meaning (i.e. isn't already a word in English).
Sonder may be the closest we've gotten so far. It's a recently-coined word (at least in English) so potentially might not count yet as a word with a meaning outside of just being a name for this story (though I would not put it past Brennan to have heard of this word and use it for its other meaning).
Anyway, I'm hanging out for the day we meet a new character and
"What up, you can call me the Wizard Stephanie."

i think people find history boring is because the way its taught in schools makes centuries of stories boiled down into nothing more than socio-ecological trends and major cultural shifts. it is important yes but it removes the humanity from history, past people lacking agency and individuality. ancient graffiti is one of the few remaining features of the pasts humanity, its made by the countless nameless people who were never written into history.
Pompeii inscription #3932"Weep, you girls. My penis has given you up. Now it penetrates men’s behinds. Goodbye, wondrous femininity!" Pompeii inscription #3042 "Cruel Lalagus, why do you not love me?"
Pompeii inscription #6842 "If anyone does not believe in Venus, they should gaze at my girl friend."
Pompeii inscription #8162 "We two dear men, friends forever, were here. If you want to know our names, they are Gaius and Aulus."
all of these are just from one place (a pretty big place mind you, but still)
imagine all the lost texts and inscriptions telling everyday folks stories
another thing that resonates with humans throughout time is the "X was here" carvings.
kind of comforting Noun. sonder (uncountable) (neologism) The profound feeling of realizing that everyone, including strangers passing in the street, has a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it.

Sonder Farm - Fynn
Tumblr media
I made a handsome boy, Fynn (so Beau could enjoy her honeymoon for a bit). He’s the resident of Sonder Farm (Sonder:  Noun. sonder (uncountable) (neologism) The profound feeling of realizing that everyone, including strangers passed in the street, has a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it) who has dreams of being a monster slayer and hoping to get friendly with the residential writer, Elliott, and the adventurous spirit, Abigail.

sonder 語源 Coined in 2012 by John Koenig, whose project, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, aims to come up with new words for emotions that currently lack words.[1][2] Inspired by German sonder- (“special”) and French sonder (“to probe”).[3] 名詞 sonder (uncountable)    (neologism) The profound feeling of realizing that everyone, including strangers passed in the street, has a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it.        2012, John Buysse, "On 2nd thought, we do have linked lives", The Daily Illini (University of Illinois), Volume 142, Issue 68, 5 December 2012, page 4A:            I had a sonder, a realization that the random girl sitting next to me inside of Starbucks might have a fantastic life or she might be dealing with a very ill family member.        2013, Annie Cohen, "A Deeper Understanding", Panorama (Ladue Horton Watkins High School, St. Louis, Missouri), Volume 62, Issue 3, 14 October 2013, page 14:            We need to have a "sonder" moment, where we realize that we aren't the only ones with feelings, dreams, regrets and hopes.        2015, Emily Neiman, Sonder: Clara's Story, iUniverse (2015), →ISBN, unnumbered page:            I knew the feeling of sonder my whole life. […] Every time I stopped what I was doing and just watched people, this feeling of breathlessness would wash over me.        For more examples of usage of this term, see Citations:sonder. 参照    ^ Maggie Powers, "Searching for a word in Kenmore", The Heights (Boston College), Volume 95, Number 44, 13 November 2014, page B7    ^ "sonder", The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows    ^ "sonder", The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows Official Facebook
