i'm rewatching psy.cho p.ass and i am reaffirmed miss aka.ne tsune.mori is absolutely one of my biggest inspos for suki :'D

i think...i have some of the most wonderful mutuals and writing partners. for the longest time, i wasn’t sure if i was ever going to come back to this part of the rpc, let alone tumblr rp in general but everyone i’ve interacted with since i returned has been so kind, generous and supportive and i am so lucky. this is the first time i’m truly satisfied with where i’m at both on here and in life in general. so from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes but also to everyone who i have the privilege of being able to write/plot/interact with on here. i’m so grateful!

hmmm most, if not all of my muses are either ones I've had before or reworkings on old concepts/muses i've played in the past, so i don't think so :/

14. was answered, i'll do 13. What’s one random headcanon about your muse that people mightn’t know?

for all the technology that is required in suki's line of work, she isn't actually all that much of a fan of using technology when a paper medium is possible ( although is this really surprising tho?? ). anyways!! this means that suki prefers using pen and paper to sending emails and definitely prefers a sketchbook & arcylics as her medium of art.

15. What do you look for in a rp partner?

i used to have a more specific criteria, but these days, it's been more of a holistic overview if that makes any sense?? like the basics is that there's a focus on character development first and that there is actually writing/threads happening on the blog often enough.

where it gets a bit more murky is just...vibes? like you know when you look at someone's blog and just based on their ooc posts or even how they write their rules page, you can get a sense of how they communicate and usually, i'm able to decide from this way if this is someone i would want to interact with. if they seem overall negative and/or needy ( constantly looking for validation ) i don't follow because that just annoys me more than anything else ://

also attentiveness/initiative! how much are they paying attention to their partner's muse & do they incorporate the other muse into their thread or is it just about their own muse? and in plotting do they contribute and ask questions or are they making their partner do all the work?

10. Would you be friends with your muse if they were real?

hmmmm i don't know if i could be completely vulnerable with her since it can be difficult to know what she's thinking and she is in a way, intense and unpredictable. BUT i think i could be friends with her in the way you might have that friend you go out to lunch with one every few months.

12. was answered, I'll do 9. What are some differences between you and your muse/muses?

i think i'm a lot more balanced and relaxed than mainverse!suki ( bc that girl...she's either 0% or 110%, there is no in between for her jfslkdjf ) and I definitely more inclined towards language and stories than suki is...that being said she's also much more outspoken, maybe too outspoken than I am as i do have to summon the guts to say what i'm thinking especially if it lands more on the negative side :'D

FOUND FAMILY. but maybe even more important than that to me is just the concept?? of meaningful friendship that don't end up becoming romantic because platonic relationships are just as important as romantic ones!!

not to be redundant on this blog, but truly tatsuya natsuki's fruits basket is one of my biggest inspirations...like the elegance of that series is unparalleled and it never once!! felt like it was pedantic or lecturing in any way!!

but honestly, i always find myself drawn to authors who tend to have a drier tone? like maybe their narrator prefers to take on a more observer role if anything. so authors like sig*rid nu*nez and ane*lise ch*en are up there! i've also been reading r*achel c*usk and she's pretty great too :'D
