Of course, she doesn’t realize escape is futile until too late, because she’s too focused on, well, the escape itself.

Which again she realizes again too late when she finally sneaks a peek behind her to find…is that a wolf charging at her? No wait, wolves aren’t common in this area and it’s way too big to be  a coyote– 

She shrieks; it’s even worse! Somehow Detective Lang has grown…wolf legs and now he’s charging at her. And for something she didn’t even do! All she can do now is keep running and possibly ( impossible at this point ) outrun him-

“RAY–” And suddenly the air in her lungs gets knocked out and she lands face first in the snow.

He bends down slowly. A flash of powder is thrown in Ray's face, his hand plants firmly in the middle of his chest to send him to the ground, and quickly, he makes after the fleeing girl. "SUKIIIIII~! " He quite literally howls after her, plowing through on ... all fours. Gloveless. Clearly, he's trained for this.

Hey hello , Nya-mun here, had to log in real quick on mobile to check & make sure the "Prevent Third Party access to your content" was on. Regardless I will probably be deleting my art posts from here &/or replacing/reposting with Glazed versions. Reasoning? Well if you haven't heard, Tumblr is partnering with A/I companies & planning to trade our content for their models for money. Thats bad! While there is a prevent option, theres an article that insinuates that our content has already been sold & trained prior to the setting be implemented today. I would implore y'all, especially artists, to promptly glaze & nightshade your works from now on. I dont just mean art though, icons, banners, promos, edits, etc. everything that requires you to upload a file from your computer or img sharing site.

The only slight problem with glaze & nightshade is that to run on your computer, you need to meet specific parameters. While Glaze has a web version (sign up here), nightshade does not. Unfortunately for me, I cannot use Nightshade because I do not have an Nvidia graphics card that is required to be able to use both Glaze & Nightshade as programs.

I'm sorry that this is happening but we gotra protect ourselves best we can. I don't know how much longer I'll be on here, I'm barely active no thanks to IRL but I love being here & I love all you guys. Protect Your Stuff ! 💜

her name is suki nakamura! i think i have spoken about this before, but suki’s name can have two meanings: (1) beloved and in verb form ‘to like’ and (2) a derivation from the word ‘tsuki’ or moon. 

suki’s name is ironically also derived from both of her parents’ names: daisuke and mizuki. for me, it really emphasizes the fact that at least in her first character arc, she considers herself her parents’ daughter first, rather than being her own person– everything she does, even down to her own name is a reminder of her parents in this sense. this then makes her arc, i think, all the more obvious in that she needs to let go of her parents so that she can become her own person.

stealing this from psy.cho pass, but i was thinking about suki's greatest strength and i realized ultimately it's this: suki sees and accepts things as they are.

this doesn't mean that she's fatalistic, but more of...suki is not as inclined towards nostalgia. when confronted with change and especially if there is evidence pointing towards the reality of things not matching up with what was in the past, she has an easier time both recognizing things are different & adapting.

as a result, this combined with an eventual strong sense of self allows her to maintain the principles she deems as important while in a system/society that does not.
