“Hmm how about that one?” Ethan leaned down to whisper in Stella's ear as he motioned with his cup, towards a freshman who stood by the drinks table, getting a refill. Stella shook her head with a smile as she crossed her arms over her chest, looking at the said boy “I don't know this seems kinda mean.” 

“Oh, he’ll survive '' Mark chuckles as he loops his arm around Stella's shoulder, being careful not to spill his drink on Stella at the quick movement. Stella let out a sigh but agreed on the two boys' plan. The Two boys spent the next few minutes giving her a rundown and information about the frieshie, until they deemed, she was ready. “Go get em’ tiger” Ethan smirked, softly pushing her away from them. 

“Hi!” Stella spoke loudly enough for him to hear her over the music, as she popped up next to him, a charming smile on her lips. The boy quickly turned to look at her, and a smirk forms on his lips at the sight of her “Oh hey, enjoying the party?” 

“It's okay, I heard that the football players know how to plan a party” Stella smiled as she filled up her cup, her shoulder brushing against his. She looks back up at him to see him already looking down at her. “You're Josh, right? you're on the team?” 

Josh’s eyes widen and he keeps his smirk on his lips, his ego boosting at the fact that she knew he was already. “Yeah, and your stella” 

“Oh, you have heard of me?” Stella giggled as she tilted her head to the side, wanting to roll her eyes when she saw his eyes immediately drop to her tits and neck, ugh boys. Josh kept on looking from her eyes to her chest, not even caring that it was obvious “How could i have not? You're one of the hottest chicks on campus.” 

Stella bit back a groan of disgust, God Ethan and mark was right, he's a major dick she thought to herself. No wonder why they wanted her to mess with them. She took a step closer to him and looked up at him through her eyelashes, a teasing smile on her lips “Can i quote you on that?” 

“You can do whatever you want babe” he was quick to reply as he moved to take a step closer to her but stopped when Mark stepped up and wrapped his arm around Stella's shoulder, pulling her flush against his chest. Mark glared heatedly at Josh who looked like he saw a ghost “You flirting with my girl freshie?” 

Josh takes a step back and quickly shakes his head no “Oh no no i was just asking her, err where the bathroom was, thanks” Josh gives her a fake smile, panic in his eyes as he quickly turns around and gets lost in the crowd of students. The duo watches him for a few more seconds before breaking out into laughter. 

“God did he forget he lives here?” Stella laughs as she hides his face in her chest. Mark laughs and rubs her shoulder, and excited Ethan walking up to them, a mischievous smile on his lips “That was great stella, we have one more guy.” 

“No no no i'm going to go dance with lily and carmen, have funn” Stella smirks with a wink, trailing off into a teasing tone as she hands her cup to mark before stepping out of his hold, and turning around to make her way to the last spot she remembers her two besties where. And where rutger was . . . but they didn't need to know that.

i miss my fav couple (dahlia and stella) so here’s a though about then with their side pieces (will and rut)

the four of them totally travel together this summer. like the girls organize everything and the boys are just like “okay 😃” but they have so much fun.

i see them going to europe like croatia or somewhere near there cause the beaches are soooo pretty. or even thailand or indonesia. they like the nature aspect of the countries more than the cities.

the tiktoks and insta post are so cute and adorable during their trip too, like they’re just always taking candid pictures of each other.

I definitely see them going somewhere tropical !!! They have been planning it for weeks in there group chat . . . well Stella & dahlia planning it, and Rutger and will are just happy to be involved tbh !!!

the girls have the whole trip planned to a T, everyday they have something to do and something to see !! You are absolutely right, they definitely love the nature aspect. I can see them going hiking, and trying to find a waterfall and all the beautiful spots not a lot of people know about !!!

They take so many pictures and Stella has so much filming there trip, wanting to be able to look back on it with them in the future !!! I can literally picture them renting a jeep (or some sort of car with the roof can come off) one of the boys driving while the girls are in the back seat, there hair wiping wildly in the wind as they laugh and sing along to the music on the radio.

Oh they spend so much time at the beach !!! and they have so much fun trying new foods and learning about the cultures, it’s a wonderful experience they all have together, and they never want it to end !!!

ohmygod and the sleepovers ??? They have tons of snacks, playing games and watching movies and just having fun! And the night swimming at the hotel pool ,:&::):&:! Oh it would be sm fun !!!

They definitely post a tiktok where it’s like ‘when the trip leaves the group chat’ or however it is, there friends are def a little jealous from how much fun they look to be having but they can’t wait until they get back and tell them all about it !!!

Stella stepped back from her phone, a mischievous smile on her lips as she made sure that it was in fact filming. Her phone stood on a long bookshelf next to the tv, leaned up against a book she was sure none of the boys in the house had even lifted up once. Stella turned to look at her boyfriend who stood next to her, a bowl of cereal in his hands as he looked at her with a curious smile. 

Stella cleared her throat before looking back at her camera, trying her best to have an intimidating look on her face without breaking out into giggles. “You want to get to him, you gotta get through me first” stella spoke confidently as she pointed between her and rutger. Rutgers eyes lit up at the confident tone she was using, happily surprised with how hot he found her being possessive over him. 

Rutger doesn't take his eyes off hers as she gets on her tippy toes, leaning up to place a kiss to his lips, just as he fluttered his eyes close at the touch, she was pulling away. It was too quick for his liking. Stella smiled up at him before stepped back, her hand on his shoulder as she looked back at her camera, with a big smile “Best big brother ever.” 

Rutgers eyes widened and his jaw dropped, thankfully he had a tight hold on his bowl or else he would have dropped it in shock at his girlfriend's words. Ethan and luca who were sitting on the couch behind them can't help but break out into a fit of laughter at the situation in front of them, God the look on rutgers face was hilarious. Rutger takes a step back from stella who's watching him and trying not to break out into giggles at how he's shaking his head no “No, no, no” 

“I am not her brother!” Rutger exclaims loudly, shaking his head no as he looks at the camera and then back to Stella who finally lets out a laugh at his reaction. Holding her side as her head tips back in laughter, her knees almost going weak at the wide-eyed stare rutger was giving her. 

Luca exclaimed jokingly from the couch between his own laughter “Awe aren't you guys just the cutest siblings.” 

“Shut it luca” rutger hissed as he glared at him, looking back at stella and giving her a concerned look at how hard she was laughing . . . he was so confused. Stella rested her hand on ruts shoulder so she wouldn't fall over from laughing and he moved to hold his bowl in one hand while the other held onto her waist. 

“Yeah, luca be careful, he might beat your ass for calling his sister cute” Ethan was quick to chime in, a teasing smile on his lips as he sent rutger a wink. Stella calms down from laughing and wipes at her wet eyes, she squeezes rutgers bicep and smiles at him “it's just a TikTok trend baby . . . god you should have seen your face.” 

Rutger rolls his eyes playfully and bites his lip, of course it was. Rutger smirks and he looks at Stella up and down before saying “Is it too late to say how hot it was seeing you so possessive?” 

Stellas cheeks immediately go red at his words, flustered under his stare, and it didn't help that luca and ethan started wolf - whistling at the couple, loving to tease them. Stella softly pushed rutger away from him making him laugh loudly as she quickly grabbed her phone. 

The last thing the video films is stella’s obviously red face up close to the camera, with ethan, luca and rutger laughing in the background as she whines shyly before she stops the video “Oh my god rut stop.”

When stella was younger she would get really scared of the thunderstorms and couldn’t sleep, so she would always go to jacks room.

Stella has different ways of showing that she’s angry at her brothers, for Jack it’s the silent treatment and he absolutely hates it!

When the siblings have there prank wars, they always team up to mess with Luke

Stella and jack always cheat and help each other when they have family game nights, mostly because they love pissing Luke off

Jack makes sure to keep all the artwork Stella has given him safe, he loves them all. He’s really proud of his talented little sister!

Jack hates the small crush Stella has on nico, and all the comments she leaves on his pictures. Stella even once wore nico’s jersey to one of the games and Jack glared at nico and a smiling Stella as he watched nico sign it for her. (Nico could just look at Stella and she would be a flustered giggling mess)

Jack definitely gets worried the most about her anemia, keeping extra iron pills and making sure she’s getting enough iron and sleep.

They are honestly more like twins, everyone always assumes they are at first.

Luke honestly tells Stella everything, so they get hurt if the other is hiding something from them.

They hate keeping secrets from each other, and most of the time they end up cracking and telling the secret.

Luke feels the most comfortable talking to Stella about his feelings and his struggles, he knows Stella will never judge and is always there for him.

Stella gets a lot of hate from the internet and her brothers try their hardest to protect her from it, but sometimes it really gets to her and Luke is always the first one to realize somethings wrong and comfort her.

They know each other so well and can read each others body language, very useful when they want to get out of things. (Ex;Luke can tell when Stella wants to leave a party)

Luke is very protective of Stella and always keeps his eyes on her during party’s, he takes holding her drink very seriously.

He’s protective of Stella but not as intense as Jack.

He genuinely hates how all his friends had a crush on Stella growing up.

What is the aftermath of Stella’s injury? What are different ways that rut or her brothers take care of her?

a/n ﹒this is just a hypothetical !! It’s not canon that she got injured

Realistically Stella comes and stays at her parents house, not only because it would be easier for her, with her mom taking care of her, but also because she needed to be back in her room, her safe place. It’s a lot for her to take in, the fact that she broke her leg, that she won’t be able to skate for a while , . . won’t be able to walk on her own for a while.

The collage let her complete her work online until she would be able to come back. Her brothers come to visit as soon as they can, all of them extremely worried for their sister after Rutger told them the news. Stella stayed off her phone for a while after she got back home, needing to step away from everything as she processed what was happening to her, so she didn’t really talk to her brothers until they came to visit, Rutger checking in on her through Ellen and coming to see her.

Her brothers came to see her, all of them bearing gifts for her from their teammates who were also worried for the youngest Hughes. They couldn’t stay long, but they all made sure to spend as much time as they can with her, her and Quinn having an emotional talk as Stella voices her anger about not being able to finish the season, and her worries of never being able to skate the same way again. Quinn was her emotional support, Jack was her comedy relief and distraction from reality, and Luke was her cuddle buddy.

Rutger was all of above !

In a way, he blamed himself for what happened. He would bring her the notes from her classmates for homework, bring her anything she desired, make the drive to see her everyday, staying the night and helping her with anything. He held her in his arms as she cried, crying that it’s unfair that this happened to her. He carried her outside so she could get some fresh air, he cheered her up. He talked to there friends for her, letting them know she’s okay, she just needs some time.

He planned a surprise movie night when he noticed Stella was more down the usual. While she was napping, he set up the living room, quietly sneaking in, Ethan, mark, Luca, the dukes and lily and Carmen, all of them bringing some snacks and drinks. All of them determined to cheer up stella. Rutger went upstairs and helped her down the stairs, Stella did cry a little when she saw all her friends.

They had a great night, watching movies, laughing and some crying at certain parts of the movies, and eating. Stella was curled up in Rutgers side, a genuine big smile on her lips.

If Stella did ever get injured it was probably during a practice, luckily this practice Rutger decided to stay for. He sat in the stands and watched as she practiced, a fond smile on his face as he watches her do what she loves.

But that smile quickly changes when he watches her slam down onto the ice after failing a spin, before his mind could process what he saw, his body was rushing to the ice. Rutger was so scared, as he watched Stella quietly cry as she holds onto her left leg, she had landed on it badly and her coach and Rutger quickly rushed her to the hospital.

Rutger was so caught up in making sure Stella was okay during the ride there, that he only had the chance to call her mom as they brought her back for surgery. He had called her mom and then after he quickly called Quinn, knowing that Ellen was busy calling jim.

He was honestly in shock, his hands were shaking and he had tears rolling down his eyes as his mind kept replaying the sound of her crying in pain as they moved her off the ice.

Rutger would honestly have a hard time telling her brothers, only because he’s still trying to process it and he’s so so worried for Stella. But he knows that her brothers need to know what happened. So he puts his emotions to the side and calls up her brothers.

Ethan, mark and Luca who heard what happened at the rink, surprised rut at the hospital, keeping him company and comforting him as they wait for Stella to get out of surgery. All of them extremely worried for her!

Oh they definitely do !!! They would be wonderful parents !!! They would have 3 kids, I’m thinking two boys and one girl. It would definitely be after Rutger has had some years in the nhl, the two of them marrying young and having their own home. Rutger having his career in the nhl while Stella is selling her artwork and continuing to figure skate (I picture Stella going to the 2026 Winter Olympics, winning silver or gold) maybe even coaching ??

They really are a chaotic duo !!! and everyone knows it. They are really close, and love each other like siblings. But they love jokingly flirting with each other (it drives Luke crazy) like since the moment they met they instantly clicked, Stella’s more quite and sweet nature mixing amazingly well with marks sweet but loud and chaotic energy.

Mark definitely brings out Stella’s more loud, playful and chaotic side. Mark really stepped up when Luke left umich, becoming that brother and comforting person that she needed. Everyone knows that if you see Stella, mark has to be nearby. He gives off bodyguard energy with her tbh.

She goes on tiktok and of course the fucking algorithm immediately pops up a tiktok edit of her and juraj to that song . . . the song she spent hours crying to . . . so seeing that, while being emotionally already tired, was a lot. She honestly just silently cried as she watched . . . and she hates to admit it, beautifully gut wrenching edit. She cried for probably 30 minutes straight after . . .
