Henry would treat me to the best birthday ever I know it in my heart

#ship.txt #🌻🐴 #we'd wake up early to watch the sunrise. then after cuddling(👀) he would make me my favorite breakfast and take care of our horses #he'd come back in and we would shower together #we would spend some time together maybe watching a movie or doing our own things together #then we would go out to lunch with our friends and have a great time #I would get a call from my mom and we would have a happy chat #then Henry would head over to the red pony for a bit while I get some alone time with the cat and dog #he'd come back and we would go for a ride in his truck. it's still too cold to take the horses out for a ride so this is the alternative #when we get back he would hand me my presents #I would jokingly complain about there being no cake #but he would remind me that there will be cake later with a teasing smile #I would get my time to admire my presents and line them up and show them off to Henry even though he's the one that bought them #he humors me because I've done this since I was a child and it makes me happy #we would have a light snack and hang out a bit more before going to celebrate at the red pony and meet up with friends again #there would be a regular yellow cake with chocolate frosting #which is my favorite. Henry made it himself. they'd sing happy birthday to me and I would blush and look anywhere but someone's gaze #after blowing out my candles Henry would place a kiss on my cheek #it would be a quiet celebration and would only last a couple of hours #Henry and I would head home and he would take care of the horses. we eat more cake and he gives me one last present #I can't think of what it would be but I know it would be special #we settle in to watch one of my favorite movies and then head off to bed #is it selfish to wish that my birthday was a bigger deal to people in my actual life? idk I love my mom but she always acts like my birthday #is this massive burden and that it's hard for her. which can be true financial wise but I don't really care about that #I just wish it was more meaningful to her. which I know is hard bc she's not that type of person and she also had 7 siblings growing up #but hey. she could at least pretend that it was more than just a day that requires her to buy a cake #and again that's just who she is. she doesn't like making a big deal of things or celebrations #but sometimes I do. and I already feel like I ask for too much so I don't bring it up #this turned from a fluffy Drabble to me ranting about birthday blues #yay.
