Elliot and Grace met at Mondstatā€™s tavern, Angelā€™s Share. Grace had recently turned 19, and Elliot was 21. He was stationed in Mondstat and worked under Pantalone at the time, rising through the ranks of the Fatui rather quick for a new recruit. He was rather close with Pantalone, the Harbinger looking the other way for Elliotā€™s freshly inherited business as far as finances and taxes went.
Grace had been living in Mondstat for some time, after having left her abusive home and traveling to the city of freedom, all the way from Fontaine. She joined the Adventurerā€™s Guild there to earn mora, and to have a place to stay, while picking up gliding as well.
Once she got older, she was a frequent patron of the Angelā€™s Share tavern, heading there after completing her commissions or after practicing gliding that day. The warm atmosphere and friendly regulars made her feel welcome every time, like she was part of a family. She got to know a lot of the patrons there well, sharing stories of her own travels with them, and learning more about them in return.
After a while, she noticed more and more Snezhnayan diplomats beginning to crop up around the town, and by extension, in the tavern. One of these people was Elliot. Grace had seen him sitting by himself in a quieter corner of the tavern. It was either his looks, or the alcohol in her, but something made her feel inclined to go strike up a conversation with him.
He was extremely charismatic and charming, to the point where Grace was clinging onto everything he was saying. She talked to him about everything. A bit more than she should have said, more than likely, but the words were spilling out. Elliot did seem to genuinely care about what she was saying, which only made her overshare. She talked about her life in Fontaine, her travels, her vision, her time in Mondstat. While she told him so much, he seemed to pick what he told her about himself a bit more carefully - something she hadnā€™t noticed at the time.
It was Grace who suggested heading out of the tavern, given they had spent several hours talking, and it was fairly late by then. It was Elliot who suggested going to the Grand Goth Hotel in return. Both of them were on-board with what happened.
When she woke up the next morning, Grace found that Elliot was gone. He hadnā€™t even left behind a note, only having folded her clothes for her and placing them neatly on a nearby chair. That was it. She had nothing to remember him by besides his name, and the night they shared.
It took a few weeks before Grace realized something was wrong, experiencing horrible morning sickness and a missed period. A week later, she learned she was pregnant. The idea admittedly put her into a bit of a panic, given that it was an unexpected pregnancy. She didnā€™t feel comfortable gliding anymore, nor did she want to risk going on her commissions should something happen.
The other members of the Adventurerā€™s Guild were very understanding, helping her sort through everything and even personally escorting her back to Fontaine safely, after Grace expressed the desire to return back to her home nation. She settled down in Petrichor, a city far from her familyā€™s home, working with the Adventurerā€™s Guild there instead. She did little things here and there, like managing guild members, finances, etc. Things that didnā€™t involve a lot of running around and fighting, as she didnā€™t want to risk the safety of her baby.
It turns out that Grace was very good at handling the more mundane tasks that kept the guild running. After Serena was born and had grown up a bit more, Grace became the leader of Fontaineā€™s Adventurerā€™s Guild. Since then, she hasnā€™t heard anything from Elliot at all. Their one night stand was supposed to be just that, having no strings attached, but she canā€™t help but think about him from time to time.
As for Elliot, after that night, he had slipped out of his room and left Mondstat entirely, having put in for a reassignment not too long before that, which had been granted. His interests had shift, and he traveled the long road back to Snezhnaya to work under Dottore instead. It wasnā€™t uncommon for the Fatui to switch between who they worked under, for one reason or another. He began working in Dottoreā€™s labs, studying delusions specifically.
He gained Dottoreā€™s trust and interest, both a good and a bad thing depending on who you asked. Dottore entrusted Elliot with his labs when he was away, and soon Elliot would be granted laboratories and personnel of his own through his work. The Tsaritsa even granted him a delusion personally and asked if he wanted to be a Harbinger, a high honor that he ended up declining for the time being.
It wasnā€™t until Signoraā€™s death at the Raiden Shogunā€™s blade that he stepped up and took her spot among the 11.

ā€œI really donā€™t know what Pantalone was expecting when he rented out Mondstatā€™s largest inn. Especially when itā€™s right next to the taverns. Iā€™m sure what goes on in those rooms hasnā€™t changed any over the years.ā€

Selene was a master when it came to crafting, especially when it came to weapons. She was skilled at smithing, specifically polearms. Her own polearm was one she crafted herself, toiling over the design for many moons, and gathering the best materials she could find across Teyvat. It is a masterpiece in terms of design. Selene intentionally crafted it to be the perfect fit for herself, the weapon being clumsy and largely unusual for most others, save for those who were as adept as her in combat.
Serena, by extension, also has great skill in crafting. It was a survival tactic she learned early on, and has only further honed with her lengthy time on the road, away from home and other cities/towns. Sheā€™s never really had the intent or need to craft weapons so far, but if she did, Serena would have skill in smithing as well.

Her training with Articuno over the past few months had been nothing short of brutal. Through no fault of his own - he was an excellent teacher and mentor. Surely, she wouldnā€™t have toughed it out if it had been anyone else. There was a level of patience and understanding from him, even in her most frustrating moments. Serena was able to learn a great deal from him on all aspects of cryo, manipulating and shaping her own ice into things she wouldnā€™t think were possible. To make her cryo cold, far colder than even Snezhnayaā€™s coldest, fiercest winters. It felt like she had been able to unlock the depths of her power, utilizing her vision to its fullest extent. She had thought her previous winter trips to Snezhnaya had honed her skills plenty, but she was so, so mistaken. Being trained by an adeptus that was a master in cryo was a whole different experience.
Oddly enough as well, she noticed her cryo had taken on a darker blue hue more recently. Something that had puzzled her a bit, considering her ice had always been the normal, lighter blue her entire time having her vision. Articuno hadnā€™t seen such a thing either, for once unable to give her an answer. Serena had gained much more confidence in herself over those months, feeling she was truly able to protect herself, and her friends without a doubt. Whoever it was that was following their group would be in for a very rude awakening if she ever caught them.
For now, at least, with her training concluded for the most part, she felt like she could relax just a tad bit more. Maybe she could go and look into whoever was trailing them, or perhaps they could simply get back on the road. Staying stagnant like this never really suited her anyways.

There hasnā€™t been any more word on his son beyond the initial maps and photographs heā€™d gotten from the Liyue area. Either his troops are slacking, or that little group of theirs were doing better at covering their tracks than he anticipated. Surely they werenā€™t aware they were being followed, were they..? His squadrons were excellent at stealth, but... perhaps he had been a bit too naive. He was going to have to reassess this sooner rather than later.

Clear, starry nights have always been her favorites. Her mom would take her to the countryside, far from the lights of Petrichor to get a better look at the sky. Sometimes, theyā€™d be lucky enough to see a shooting star.
Even now, sitting on a grassy hill in the quiet night, she didnā€™t feel antsy or on edge like usual. There was simply a resounding peace, and a feeling of comfort that she associated with the stars. It had only seemed to grow stronger and more intense over the years, too.

ā€œIf that is all, then you may take your leave.ā€ The agent bows his head in response, stepping out quietly. Elliot lets out a long breath, waiting until the door closes before he turns.
Those Fatui of his have been blabbing constantly since theyā€™d received orders to keep tabs on his son. He initially presumed they were planning courses of action, but it wasnā€™t until he received reports about those Paulo was traveling with that Elliot understood.
There was a girl there as well, older than Paulo, but she was a spitting image of him and Elliot. The same golden blonde hair, and cool silver eyes. Elliot dismissed it as needless rumors, having to shut down the rumor mill each time he was within earshot. Honestly... wasting their time on such petty things. Incessant gossiping irritated him to no end, especially when it involved himself. He could hold his tongue as far as rumors about the other Harbingers went, at least.
He moved to take a seat by the window, Snezhnayaā€™s wintery, gray landscape acting as his backdrop. One of his agents had come to drop off some intel, an envelop that contained several maps and photographs. Very thorough work, as to be expected from one of his more lone wolf units. Elliot breaks the seal on the envelop, deciding to look over the maps first.
There were pathways tracked all over the paper, with different colored ink to indicate different days. There was a map for each person in Pauloā€™s group as well, his agent going as far to track them individually. Impressive work; much more than anyone had done thus far. Perhaps a pattern could be deduced from all of this - the group didnā€™t stay in one spot for long, that was for sure. Getting the jump would be like a game of chess, having to somehow corner them. No matter, he would think more on that later.
The maps were placed aside on the table, removing the photographs from the envelop now. He sifts through them, stopping on a picture of the group overall. There was his son, indeed, standing in Liyue Harbor with other people... there was a man there with black hair and red eyes, nothing too notable to him, and a woman. A woman who did bear a striking resemblance to Paulo and himself, just as his troops gossiped about.

... Did their rumors have merit after all? Now that he saw her for himself, he had to wonder. It wasnā€™t unlikely that he had at least another child out there - he did spend a few nights with Mondstatā€™s former Glide Champion in the past... Elliot tried to pull his mind back to the current matter at hand, noticing a cryo vision at her hip as well. He couldnā€™t tell if the black-haired adventurer had a vision like the blonde and his son, as the rest of his body was blocked from view, but her vision was clear as day, hanging in a bright blue.
The photos were set aside with the maps, Elliot resting his hands on the table. His eyes matched the intensity of the raging blizzard outside as he pondered, lips set in a line. The idea of having another child related to him by blood was frightening, but... it was also another opportunity, should she truly be his blood daughter. Where Paulo had failed, she may succeed.
His sonā€™s escape was a huge setback in his work, but he may have unknowingly led Elliot to something far greater...

Serena reads over the fortune slip she had gotten during her first trip to Inazuma. She hadnā€™t thought much of her result at the time, being a ā€˜future blessing in romanceā€™, but now it made a lot more sense. She folded it up again, tucking it safely into her bag, letting out a wistful sigh. She... never would have imagined that her life would have changed so much in such a short amount of time. That little slip of paper was definitely her good luck charm now; she was never going to get rid of it.
