I’m just gonna put it out there. I kinda feel like we got robbed for the English translation from Japanese.

The original Japanese version has very different takes on things,

Like kaito being worse but he still had his hero complex so the translators just made him that off hero amalgamate to fit their narrative. When I say worse I mean I think the translators may have just had favouritism to kaito. He was terrible. Here’s something:

English interaction, kaito to kokichi: "I don't wanna survive it it means I have to stoop to your level!" Japanese,exact same encounter: "I won't let SOMEONE LIKE YOU survive with us!!!" They really tried to heroise someone like this?

And there was no justice for kokichis translation, small details that Really Matter in the overarching story to shape his little anti villain shtick got glossed over in English and only gets mentioned in forums about how his last words in English don't match up with his "how could i enjoy a game that takes peoples lives" < Japanese "how could i join a game that I'm forced to play"» <English. Japanese says that as of more evidence of his no killing rule, which gets majorly burried in English. And kokichi had so many random insults piled on when it wasn’t wanted or needed and this really made him the one to kick people when they were down when he really wasn’t

did you know kokichi was meant to refer to himself as a fairy? Calling him something known to be both mischievous and used as scapegoats for others, and they don't mention it once. Huh. Also what kokichi wanted to ask you before logging out in the virtual world? That was essentially a love confession but they brushed that off too

And this is new info here so I'm not totally sure on this one but apparently tenko was meant to be

'degenerate male’ was meant to be a pun on ‘MENace’ but they made her mostly intolerable past chapter 1 with only three things she likes that become her entire personality past trying to throw you and she could have been a really fun character if they sticked to the original Japanese version

"What are you laughing at?!" he asks, stunned

You wrap your arms around him and kiss him all over his face

"you were jealous" you finally say, kissing the top of his pointy ear

He rolls his eyes and scoffs "whatever"

You press your head to his shoulder "Well you don't have to worry. Because you're my favorite no matter what" you mutter, finishing off the statement with a kiss to his shoulder

He finally turns and looks at you "promise?"

You smile and kiss his lips, to which he frantically does back as if this is the first time you've kissed him in years

"Promise" you say, looking into his eyes

He smiles and kisses your forehead "Ok"

He tries to be reasonable with it

Logically he knows that sometimes, characters in media are something people can latch onto, whether that be for projecting their own little spins on the characters, writing stories with them, and finding them attractive

He knows this

But that little itty bitty part of him gets anxious

With his demon senses, he can get very territorial

And he's pretty much marked you as his and his alone

So when that comes into question, even with something as silly as fake characters, that territorial part of him spikes up

He will try to (not so) subtly show off to prove he's better than any fictional character

He will also get way more physically affectionate with you, making sure he gets his smell on you

He will also make sure to show you off as his partner to all of the other creeps

Which is strange for him, because he's always so reserved and isolated from the others

suddenly making a show of nuzzling up your neck, kissing you passionately and leaving very obvious bite marks all across your body is very strange

That being said, you catch on rather quickly what's going on with him

But you decide you won't embarrass him by calling it out

Instead, you just don't talk about your fictional crushes around him anymore

And suddenly, the territorial behaviors stop almost altogether

Weird, huh?

You just go along with it, keeping the information in the back of your mind that if you ever want some extra affection, just start talking about fictional people you find attractive and that'll do the trick

Hi there! Welcome to the blog. Posts will not have this level of grammar or spelling, so beware as your travel down.

The person running this blog is PLURAL (a system) so we have emoji beginnings for each alter.

We have a couple Dangan fictives, however only one from THH. We have Saihara, Ouma, Harukawa, Akamatsu, Komaeda, Hinata, Mioda, Kamukura and Naegi fictives.

The system has more than 35 alters, so there are many to go around! /j

Alters may introduce themselves as we go along, however if they do not, just call them (Emoji) Alter as follows:

Fictives should be easy to spot if they don't introduce themselves (Dangan wise). Emojis are reflected upon them, and so knowing the characters should allow you to easily spot them.

Look at the link above for the list of alters. Most of the time, Xinq/Ghost will be posting, so they will not be having an emoji prefix.

If you want more insight to us and the system, please read our Carrd or Rentry and or submit an ask. The Carrd has pronouns, socials, triggers, dnis, and more! Triggers account to all the alters, as well as the DNIs. Please be weary in what you say, especially related to the system.

Asking questions about the other Dangan fictives is fine, but to let you know, fictives Shuichi and Kokichi ARE explicitly dating as boyfriends (as well as our Kaitou Kid and Shinichi Kudou fictives, however that is irrelevant). Yandere Kokichi Ouma 🍬 drugged candy prompt

“A Halloween party? That sounds fun.” you thought “Why not?”

You held the invitation in your hand, you hadn’t had anything planned after all so you thought you might as well go.

You didn’t have any plans to get dressed up you had to think of something simple, searching your closet for… nothing. You had nothing. Sighing, you painstakingly throw on some black clothing and painted whiskers on your cheeks with eyeliner along with two cat ear hair clips as a last resort. A relatively nice outfit, you at least wanted to look presentable. Looking in the mirror you look at your presentation, satisfied one last time before heading out the door.

The party was loud, you could hardly hear yourself think, there were way too many people there, but you were already there so you forced yourself to enjoy yourself.

And by “enjoy yourself” you meant leaning on the closest wall staring at everyone until you found the courage mingle.

“Hey there kitty cat!” That word made you turn your head, obviously referencing your costume. Your gaze met with purple eyes. A short guy in a purple and white jester costume, it fit him well. Snapped out of your thoughts you replied a quick “Uh- hey!” You didn’t get approached at parties often and were unsure what to do in this type of situation.

“Are you enjoying the party, you look pretty lonely all by yourself.” his lip pouted, giving you a look of pity “It’s alright, not really my scene.” you mumbled, shrugging.

“Awe, I know something that’ll cheer you right up.” The man extended his arm out, revealing two pieces of candy in his hand.

A grin spread his lips a little too wide for your taste.

“One for you” he shoved one piece in your hand, “and one for me!”

He ate his piece in a swift motion, throwing the sweet onto his tongue, his gaze never leaving you. He smiled as he watched you examine it in your hand.

Staring at the candy, no label to read as you rolled it in your palm. It’s not the best idea to take things from strangers but this was a party after all, what’s the worst that could happen? And plus, you saw him eat one too, so it must be safe to eat.

“It’s Kokichi by the way.” Your gaze shot up, sensing that you’ve been staring at the candy for too long. “-what?” stumbling over your words, pulling yourself back into reality. “My name.” his tone flatten as he repeated himself. “It’s Kokichi.” His mouth stretched into a grin as he threw his hands behind his back in a carefree manner.

“Oh, nice to meet you.” giving him a kind smile back, feeling embarrassed for getting caught off guard.

“Aren’t you gonna eat that?” His question sounding genuine, like he was confused. “Actually I’m not all that hungry.” you avoided his gaze in shame even though you could feel his gaze burn into your skin, you didn’t want to come off as rude or snobby.

“Aw, after I went through all that trouble to get you some candy and you won’t even try it!” Crocodile tears welling in his eyes. Exclaiming “You’re so mean!” You didn’t want him to make a scene around all these other people, so you decided to just suck it up. “Don’t worry, It’s not like I poisoned it or anything.” He assured “Or did I~” A mischievous smirk on his face. You laughed it off, damn this guy was weird. You pushed the candy onto your tongue, it tasted fine.

“Wasn’t so bad, now was it?” He was so cheeky it was beginning to make you uncomfortable. “I guess not.” You mumbled.

“This room is so crowed, totally not your style, huh?” He looked at the lively crowd “Hey, come with me and I’ll show you around! It’ll be fun.” His hand met with your waist, tugging you harshly before you had the chance to answer.

Before you knew it, you were taken to a small dark empty room. Your eyes tried adjusting to the new setting before he sat you down next to him.

The room was spinning circles in your vision, your center of gravity felt way off. You could barely sit up straight. Looking around for help but all you could make out in the blurry scenery was a familiar face, an innocent look twisting his features in faux concern.

“Is everything alright, y/n?” his smug grin asked rhetorically, knowing you weren’t alright. He placed his hand on your shoulder firmly for support. “I really don’t feel good, I think I should-“ you paused “wait, how’d you know my name?” Your head was too disoriented to process this, it was becoming too much. “Don’t worry about that right now.” His sultry voice lowered as he leaned his face into the crook of your warm neck. Feeling his hot breath on your skin made you ask yourself if this was really happening to you, you don’t even know this guy, you could barely remember his name. You could hardly remember anything, why did you even come to this party in the first place?

A shockingly wet sensation on your neck. Feeling paralyzed, you were frozen in your seat, his warm tongue was slathering wet saliva on your sensitive skin. You hadn’t ever been this close with anyone before and felt your cheeks flush from the intimacy but your stomach churned with dread.

His hand held your thigh down at the slightest movement, he made it clear without saying it; you weren’t going anywhere.

Instinctively your hand raised and pressed against his costumed chest in an attempt to push him away, to give him a signal that you didn’t want this. Only for your attempt to be shut down, your arms felt like limp noodles. Looking into the corner of your eye, seeing black hair tucked into the crook of your neck.

He pressed his lips to your skin, leaving sloppy kisses all the way down to your collar bone.

You found yourself letting your mind wonder away from the situation, wondering if someone would notice and come save you. Why did he take you to such a deserted area of the house? What were his intentions with you? Lost in thought, you didn’t even notice when you let a short moan slip out of your throat when he sucked and nibbled at an exceptionally sensitive area.

A teasing chuckle filled your ear, “You like that, kitten?” You felt your words stuck in your throat, struggling to get them out you managed to utter out “I should be heading home now.” your face was heating up, all you knew was that you had to get out of there and away from this guy.

The fear and adrenaline caused you to stand up, away from his grip only for your wrist to be yanked back roughly. Your heart was beating out of your chest, every part of you was telling you to run but your legs felt sluggish and trembled under the pressure.

“You can’t go home like that, who knows what can happen!” He was right, you walked here and had no real way home, especially in your condition. “You seem a little tipsy, you should let me take you, I’ll make sure you get home safe.” Closing his offer, if you could call it, that with a wink.

Before you could open your mouth, he held onto your arm as he led you to the exit. You looked at all the people around you trying to get help but, they were all too absorbed in the party to notice you.

The night air felt good on your flushed skin, but you couldn’t enjoy it for long as it was closed off by a car door. Finally, your vision was fading in and out, slowly moving your head around to see where you were now. in front of you sat Kokichi, giving a very satisfied grin. That was the last thing you saw before your surroundings faded to black.

“Sweet dreams, y/n.”
