first week of 2023

jan 1 - jan 7

last week, kim seonho staffs' instagram account announced that they are going to upload daily unseen photos of kim seonho that they took in 2022. be it seonho in the woods, rivers, mountains, beaches.

so a week has passed, and we got seonho's pictures from this woods that they took (possibly) on last year's autumn. it's full on pictorial mode. very pretty, both the person and the picture quality. one can only wonder what these pictures were actually for.. either it was taken for this exact purposes or whether they wanted to use this for other things but decided to change the use. either way, i'm grateful for seonho and kimsda's (short way we call the IG handle, hehe) efforts and commitments. posting daily is not an easy thing to do..

anyways, on the first day of january, we got a photo of seonho wearing this brown jacket looking up to the horizon above.. a promising start on the new year day.

seonho went through a lot of things during autumn in 2021 and it's so nice seeing him posing around, smiling, during the same season last year.

like i said, he actually went through a lot of things, still, he managed to achieve lots! i can't keep track of everything but he got a new theater work credited next to his name (playing as joe in daehakro's adaptation of touching the void) and bagged several awards too.

he also finished shooting his film debut with director park hoon-jung, whom immediately casted seonho again for his next work. i don't want to expect much but surely, i am waiting for their collabs to finally premiere and air on the cinema near my home!

he too, did his first offline fanmeeting in seoul. his agency originally planned it only for a day but the tickets was sold so fast and easily they decided to add another day :)

the fanmeeting itself was very "intimately" concepted. no big bombastic events, no spectacular guests, nothing really big. the big thing that was felt was seonho's gratitude. those were two days full of love, i think. i didn't watch it (of course!) but many attendees shared *some* clips and pics from the event, and from those crumbs alone we can feel his sincere gratefulness and respect. my love for seonho got bigger that day.

now let's talk about him in this woods. i really like how his eyes glimmer. how sun shines on him. i wish those melancholy eyes to see all happiness the world bring. really, i hope 2023 is always going to be good and kind for seonho. i wish him to finally get the good things he deserve, to be able re-taking everything that was robbed from him before.
