Refuge Kru - Ghosts of My Life
Daskside jungle, as Mark Fisher discribes it in his same-titled book.
This is Goldie, by the way, and comes from 1993.
This is also relevant here:
Japan - Ghosts (1982)
Happy to have found out about this synthpop band of the late-70s/early-80s thanks to the same book.

Smith & Mighty - Anyone (ft Jackie Jackson)
Still Bristol, still 90s, still dnb. Bristol comes up every now and then, always reserving a day or two of my time. This time it's another side of Bristol, which I didn't have the chance to dive into before.
This one was released in 1988 and was also part of Smith & Might's 1998 Dj Kicks.

The Bristol sound echoing in my head since the day I left.
Here is another one:
Unfinished: The Making of Massive Attack.
Both very informative and pleasant to watch.

Art Bei Ton Podcast 063: Deepbass
In anticipation of this Saturday.
I would describe this as techno, but now that this term has become so broad to include irrelevant stuff, I describe this as my favourite kind of techno.

Alex Tomb @ XORKO.COM Festival 2013 (Arminou Desert)
This was yesterday's soundtrack but still goes on. It actually echoes in my head since the day it happened, almost 10 years ago. I would briefly describe it as a flight to the moon and back. And all I can say is that I am feeling furtunate and grateful to have experienced that one, not only in terms of music.
I wish Tomash's live set was available somewhere, because that one really blew my mind.

Spotify Palylist: Hauntology
Back in the hunt. Hunting for satisfaction through digging and learning. And back to completing the infinite puzzle. One piece at a time.
Ghosts Of My Life: Writings on Depression, Hauntology and Lost Futures by Mark Fisher brought me here. It is a collection of writings arguing that we are haunted by futurs that failed to happen. He searches for the traces of these lost futurs in the work of David Peace, John Le Carre, Christopher Nolan, Joy Division, Burial and many others.
Apparently, Hauntology, a philosophical term at first place, gave its name to a music genre capturing all that it entails.
