Welcome to the official page for the passion project Toxic Love. A story where you become the main interest of a botanist that knows a little too much about you and poisonous plants. Will you be swept off your feet voluntarily, or would you need some... convincing?

pre-sua: much like her parents, she stays unregistered. they're living a nice cushy life parading as humans, and they want the same for seoyoung. tell her to keep her mutation a secret, and she'll do fine.

and yk what, they're right! she's living the life! gets into her dream university after she graduates from high school, and even manages to date a nice guy!

and well…. attitudes towards mutants are changing. she lets him in on her little m-word secret, and everything's peachy keen- till she gets an internship and he doesn't.

that's when he lets slip to their school that she's a big bad. she's kicked out of the university, the government's on her ass, and it's on top of the news cycle for a week.

she spins it as best as she can; a dumb, silly girl who was of course getting around to registering when questioned by the relevant authorities--- it's not her fault she found out during finals season! there's interest in the case, and she capitalises off it in hopes the attention will mean lesser repercussions. she's just a girl who wanted to live a quiet normal life like everyone else, ok? :(

anyway, sua opens its doors shortly after, and she gets back on track! she's more than happy to take the patch rash in exchange for a degree, thanks.

currently, she's pursuing a phd in one of sua's labs and regretting it... she's determined to stick it out, though, simply out of spite. her advisor may be the worst person to walk the face of the earth, but seoyoung's absolutely not giving her the satisfaction of quitting

for plotting's sake, i'll keep the classes she tas for pretty vague-- if they take a science class/lab, let's gaurrr. staff shortages also have her covering for unrelated classes, so it's really a toss-up re: whether she actually knows the content or not.

takes weather-related requests and charges an arm and leg for it. if you want your first date to be sunny, be prepared to cough up for it per hour.

always tired, but also always awake.

will never miss an offer to drink and bitch about her advisor, and is quite possibly landsliding towards alcoholism.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone! I've been a little busy but that won't stop me from giving y'all some tidbits about the cast.

Fani

Used to the a huge fan of Christmas (still is). When she was younger his parents would take the whole family up to their cabin for a few weeks to spend time together. Fani enjoyed making snow sculptures for her younger siblings and hearing their cries of joy on Christmas morning. If only she could remember their faces...

Camille

She hass always had a soft spot for the holidays because it meant that she would be able to spend more time with her parents. Her dad owned a small toy shop that would be decked out in holiday decor and somehow always smelled like gingerbread. Her mom would help out on her days off but Camille was her dad's favorite little helper! Nowadays she visits her mom and helps knit clothes and blankets for the community.

Aspen

While not the biggest fan of the holidays, it enjoys watching his siblings get riled up for Christmas Eve much to his dad's dismay. When he was younger he would go out with his parents to help give out food and clothes to those less fortunate, and now he helps keep that tradition alive by gathering up his siblings and spending their free evenings at animal shelters, food banks, and soup kitchens.

Bella

Some would call her a Grinch, but she's as much of a Christmas enjoyer as Camille. Her favorite thing to do around this time is to walk or drive to populated areas at night to see the town decorated in fairy lights, holidays blow ups, and whatever statues the people decide to decorate. It is something that her parents used to do before they went up to their cabin for a few weeks to enjoy the quieter moments of the holidays. She hopes to one day spend time with her older siblings again.
