GUYS. the shows are TWO DIFFERENT STORIES. TWO DIFFERENT STYLES. DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. seeing different depictions of gods and goddesses in fiction is like seeing two different types of apples at grocery store. you’ll only be disappointed with one if you really force yourself to— or if you have very particular tastes/takes on myth. casual enjoyers of epic will typically like hadestown. i love hadestown— i never really cared for epic, but that’s personal taste. it wasn’t disappointing, i’m just not a fan. but if youre thinking you’ll be disappointed— look into it before seeing it!
