Okay so first off, Newt has definitely been eaten by something before 

Idk what it was or when, but you can’t tell me a man who works with giant magical creatures has never been eaten at least once 

And even if he hasn’t I’ll bet it’s not a concept he’s unfamiliar with

Lotsa beasties have brood pouches and crops and such so he understands the whole ‘swallowing things doesn’t always equal eating’ sort of deal

I’d also bet he’s had to carry some pretty weird stuff in his mouth before, and has zero qualms about using such a method to transport some of his smaller creatures if need be 

 He’s never actually eaten anyone or anything before tho 

But he absolutely has a spell that would make such a thing safe and possible because of course he does 

He really enjoys running around all small and it never hurts to be prepared just in case you know?

If given the opportunity to eat or be eaten by another person he’s jump on it, with one condition 

He has to be with someone he knows well and trusts, or it’s not happening 

He’s actually much better at interacting with tinies than regular people, because while he never stops seeing them as a person, they stop feeling like something unpredictable and threatening 

I, as someone who has anxiety brain, understands this well 

If you eat him he’ll definitely be a little wiggly, just cause he’s trying to take everything in all at once

It’s just so fascinating!

If he’s the one doing the eating he’s incredibly gentle, never doing anything without the prey first giving him the go-ahead
