helo has never been one to break down around anyone. he tries to keep everything to himself; carry the burdens on his shoulders of not just his guilt or his demons, but the others as well. you can see the way that he is trying to breathe through the emotions, trying to steady himself, rewire his brain so that he can function again.

but as soon as that first touch is on him? you can see the slight tilt in his head, the way his features contort, and he is a goner. he starts to fall apart, the cracks of his demeanor giving leeway beneath the storm of his emotions, like a dam that is flooding everything in it's wreckage.

he doesn't want anyone to see him like this, see him fall apart; see him so small and weak. but the emotions start pouring out of him, and he can't stop.
