Nur wenige Tage vor ihrem Tod gab Sinéad O'Connor einen kleinen Einblick in ihr Leben – in einem Video sprach sie auch davon, neue Songs schreiben zu wollen.

Sinéad O’Connor ist tot – die Sängerin ist im Alter von 56 Jahren gestorben. Offenbar noch wenige Tage zuvor hatte sie ein Video aufgenommen. Darin sitzt sie in ihrer Wohnküche und berichtet davon, dass sie mit ihrer Gitarre neue Songs schreiben wolle.

Der Clip erscheint für Außenstehende auf den ersten Blick wie ein belangloses Video aus dem Alltag der Sängerin. Jedoch erwähnt sie darin auch beinahe nebenbei, dass das Sterben eines Kindes „nicht gut für Körper und Seele“ sei – damit bezieht sie sich offenbar auf den Tod ihres Sohns Shane, der sich 18 Monate zuvor das Leben genommen hatte. Mehr von ihrer Wohnung wolle sie nicht zeigen, da diese derzeit ein „Shithole“ sei. Im Hintergrund ist die Küche zu sehen – mit einem offenen Schrank und einigen Gegenständen auf der Küchenzeile. Darüber hinaus weist sie auf einen Strauß schöner Sonnenblumen hin, die sie von einem Freund geschenkt bekommen habe.

Sinéad O’Connor weist die Zuschauer im Clip auch darauf hin, dass sie zur Pflege ihres Gesichts Vaseline aufgetragen habe. Bevor sie sich verabschiedet, sagt sie „ich hoffe, ihr seid jetzt alle glücklich“.

Nachdem sich die Nachricht vom Tod der Sängerin am Mittwoch schnell verbreitet hatte, hat nun auch die Londoner Polizei erste Details veröffentlicht. Unter anderem wurde bestätigt, dass sie am späten Mittwochvormittag zu einem Wohnhaus gerufen worden sind, weil eine leblose Person aufgefunden wurde. Die 56-Jährige wurde daraufhin noch vor Ort für tot erklärt. Ein hinzugerufener Gerichtsmediziner stellte fest, dass die Umstände, die zum Ableben der Künstlerin geführt haben, nicht verdächtig sind. Fremdeinwirken wird somit ausgeschlossen.

حكيت المقدمة دي عشان تعرفوا ظروفها وان نفسيتها دايماً مش مرتاحة بسبب ان كل شوية يكون فيه جلسات محاكم وللاسف برضه صحتها اتضررت، غير ان اقرب الناس ليها ضدها مش معاها.

بس تعرفوا الحد اللي عنده مشاكل الدنيا ولما تكلموه تلاقوه بيضحك وبيخطط عايز يعمل ايه في حياته وبيدور على فرص شغل وسفر وانبساط، وهقول لكم كمان حاجة عجيبة هي بتعملها كل سنة، بتحوش من بعد العيد الكبير للعيد الكبير اللي بعده عشان تجيب اضحية وتضحي وفعلاً نجحت في الموضوع ده كذا سنة برغم ان الاسعار بتغلى، مع انها في حاجة للفلوس بس بتقول لي انا بحس اني مبسوطة وبعمل دا عشان الثواب كمان يروح لماما وبابا ومش بحب افوت عيد حتى لو هشترك مع حد المهم اضحي، وبلاقيها دايماً بتساعد في الخير ولو معاها فلوس قدرت توفرها بتطلع صدقات، وبجد ربنا مبارك في رزقها ماشاءالله بتقول لي ساعات بقعد افكر انا ازاي هوفر الفلوس او ساعات بتزنق وبيطلعلي حجات مش عاملة حسابها وبعدين بلاقيها اتدبرت من عند ربنا، عندها ايمان وثقة في الله انه هينصرها وانه مش هيضيعها ابداً وامبارح قالتلي "انا واثقة اني هطلع من كل دا على خير باذن الله وهكلمك افرحك ان ربنا نصرني، لاني بقالي ٤ سنين من ساعة وفاتهم ربنا ساترها معايا وايامي بتمشي كويس، والحمدلله ربنا بيوقفلي ناس كتير في كل مكان بتسهل عليا وبتهون عليا وحدتي"

عارفها انها كتير بتتعب وكتير بتزعل، بس هي ربنا مديها قوة ماشاءالله في مواجهة حجات كتير بتتعرض ليها ولسة في قلبها مكان لفعل الخير برغم كل حاجة، لما بتكلم معاها بتكسف اني ساعات ببقا مخنوقة وزعلانة من غير سبب او لاسباب تافهة، واحدة زيها بتحمد ربنا كل يوم واحنا ساعات بننسى نحمد ربنا واحنا غرقانين في النعم ومش شايلين هم حجات كتير، وعندنا راحة بال ان محدش قريب بيعادينا او عايز لنا الضرر، ربنا يبارك لها بجد ويقويها ودايماً اشوفها مبسوطة وابسط الحجات بتسعدها.
