THE KILLING OF KRYSTAL

You were

Like a fly,

Wasting precious

Energy,

Racing,

Hitting every surface,

Bouncing back

Before the looming

End.

Angelic,

Distant voices

Chattered in between

And over

Music,

Close to friends,

But they

Just couldn't hear it.

You were fledgling

To the navy early stares,

To the imitation lightning,

Thunder

Winding all the senses

Up

And

Over earth.

Above the paving,

Where the morning

Trucks delivered

And the noise

Of sleepy children

Is only

The yelling

Cats,

You found yourself,

Back against

The star

Reflecting steps.

The propel,

Like slitting glass,

Cut through

Hidden lips

And it embossed

The ones

Covered

To be

Silenced.

Alone,

But not lonely,

You were

Walked home

By your spirits.

Sometimes,

I see those friends

Who

Where not there,

Who never cared,

And

They never bled.
