Current fixation is Paul's jewelry. Specifically him giving you his jewelry to keep safe during a race.

oh. my. GOD. this is such a sweet idea, im crying. you're a genius anon. i'm also very much obsessed with his jewelry, but this idea…. 😭

as we know, he's got so many bracelets… and so many rings… usually, he goes through his routine of taking them all off a long time before the race, storing them in his little box in the team's truck. but one day, it has just slipped his mind and suddenly he's standing by the car, all ready to jump in, when he realizes that he's still wearing them all. it's far too late to go back to the truck now, so he gets nervous for a second – before he remembers that you're there.

a confused look grows on your face when he walks up to you in the paddock – he's supposed to prepare for the race, what's he doing? – but then, he grabs one of your wrists, holding the hand up towards him and opening it. he starts sliding his rings down his fingers, placing them into the palm of your hand. then, he takes off his bracelets, one by one, which takes a lot of time as he's got about millions of those fan bracelets. when he's finally done, he folds your hand, wrapping both of his hands around it. he looks at you softly, and tells you: "keep them safe for me."

you nod, your frown morphing into a smile instantly. and lastly, when his hands let go of you, he reaches to the back of his neck, unclasping his necklaces and taking them off him – before reaching towards your neck, putting them on you. then he presses a quick peck to your temple, before hurrying off to his car again while being scolded by his engineer about not being in the car already.

About the Swantello AU, we've seen that Donnie has scars on his shell and that Raph's eye color is different. Are there other scars they or someone else have? Does Donnie notice them like he did with Raph's eye?

these are all the notable scars, aside from donnie's shell (he also has matching scars on one arm, similar to raph and mikey.) they have other minor bumps and scrapes here and there as a crew, but these are all the big ones.

them growling about how they've wanted to for so long while my voice wavers and my arms wrap around their shoulders for stability. theyd get on top of me and be everywhere, caging me in with their arms braced on either side of my head, helping me shut out the world n just focus on trying to grind against their bulge. Id get to feel their back muscles work as they leaned back n helped me wrap my legs around their waist.

I want them to look down at me and get lost in the needy look in my eyes and the flutter of my long eyelashes, only to lose their swagger when I blurt out "fuck me. I want you- I've wanted you to fuck me." FOR SURE lmao i made. a diagram. just a warning that i am going to be irritating and long winded because u just hit a topic i really like sorry lmao

so first off i did some traces just to show whats there vs redraws to show my interpretation

ive said this on other asks but again jsyk, tracing isnt bad!! its a tool. theres some stuff with intellectual property and whatnot but using tracing to study shapes and forms is a really valuable practice.

also just taking some time to learn facial structures and anatomy is super useful, reading what bones and muscles are where and how they interact with one another. taking this info and staring in the mirror and moving your face around and thinking about it. just really furthers understanding of how the face works. trying to sound normal about this but i love anatomy and motion and physics and whatever

anyways im going to go through all the numbered points so there's no confusion. 1. forehead lines - self explanatory. more prominent when brows are raised 2. crows feet - at the outer corners of the eyes, more prominent when smiling or squinting 3. nasolabial folds - the folds that go from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth. more prominent when the mouth is wide, like smiling 4. brow furrow - self explanatory, most prominent when brows are furrowed. mccoy tends to have two right next to his eyebrows, kirk has one in the middle. everyones face works different lmao 5. chin crease - caused by how the chin and lower lip interact. 6. nasojugal groove - start from the inner corners of the eye and can extent over the cheeks. everyone has these and idk why people dont like them i think theyre really cool!!!! but Society. i guess. :/ 7. eye bags - caused by the skin sagging beneath the eyes. mccoy isnt even that old in tos i think hes meant to be mid 40s by the end of the 5 year mission, hes just got really prominent eye bags lmao 8. idk what the name is for these, but when the mouth is wide and pushes the skin to the sides, these folds sometimes form outside of the nasolabial folds 9. philtrum - the groove above the upper lip. i dont usually draw this but mccoy's struck me as prominent enough that i usually draw it on him 10. masseter - the muscle that moves the jaw up and down. its a pretty rugged muscle and while i wouldnt say mccoy's is especially prominent, it kind of extends that nasojugal groove from certain angles/positions 11. orbicularis oris - mouth muscle, usually easier to see when lips are pursed or frowns are pulled. mccoy's is pretty prominent from 3/4ths or side, his mouth tends to protrude in profile 12. this isnt a muscle but more of a line defining the planes of the face, but since i drew it i felt i should explain lmao

a few points:

im an animator i tend to exaggerate and emphasize certain things so i usually make him more square.

i like to combine eyebags and crows feet for brevity/flow, same with nasojugal grooves, eyebags, and masseter lines. my approach is always subject to change based on pose, expression, reference image, etc.

i take out details that i deem redundant or cluttering and keep what details i need to make things feel Right

all this info is applicable to any character of any age, its just in how you apply it and facial proportions that willl change how old a character is perceived to be

there's a lot more with drawing a Character rather than an Actor, just because the features are there doesnt necessarily mean things will feel correct? its very much in the mannerisms and poses and expressions

i only went over my approach to his likeness but not really body type or posing or anything idk if u want that i could always try to answer that later haha

no because you’re literally so right. he puts his everything into hugs— wraps his arms around you really tight and pulls you flush against his chest, rests his chin on top of your head so he can drop it down and press kisses there if need be. he’s super warm, his hugs make you sleepy instantly— like some kind of magic spell. you read somewhere that if you feel sleepy around someone all the time it’s because your inner child feels safe with them, and with john b it couldn’t be more true.

he squeezes tight too, which is sometimes the perfect sensory experience you need to calm you down— that tight pressure against your body that would slow your heart rate and your breathing until you’re mush in his arms. he feels it too, and it makes him chuckle in that rich, warm tone of his every time, giving you an extra little squeeze and dropping his chin down to check on you when he’s felt you go all soft and pliant in his grip.

“you good down there?” he asks, a tinge of amusement in his voice like he’s suppressing a chuckle.

“mmmm.” is all you can manage. not a ‘mhm’ or anything signifying an answer, just a sound that borders on a moan to tell him how good his hugs are and that you never wanted to leave them.

“i’m gonna take that as a yes, and that you’re very good right now.” he answers, clearly in a more cheerfully energetic mood than you were, just wanting to melt into his grip and exist in his skin.

“you have boyfriend smell. don’t wanna move yet.” you groan, pressing your cheek harder against his printed shirt, referring to the outdoorsy, woodsy smell that often followed him due to well, the sheer amount of time he spent outside.
