THEY LEAVE IT UP TO THR AUDIENCE AS TO WHY BUT SHE WAS SO EAGER #ROBIN WAS JUST HER CONSOLATION PRIZE AND EVEN THEN IT WAS TAINTED BY BRUCES MISTRUST #WHICH ULTIMATELY LED TO HER DEATH #AUGH. I mean those eras are complex in and of themselves w their own pros and cons (i mean i like both tho) #But they dont hurt as much as her robin era knowing whats to come… #sidenote i often see ppl praise the way stephs temper is portrayed in her robin era and while its nice to see her anger factor in #considering its like. A less consistent character trait in the modern era? Its there tho in bits and drabs #im just very cynical of it in her robin era knowing that they’re (partially) using it to set up why shes a doomed robin. Complex feelings #mine
