this is SO REAL im on anon and wont self-promo in ur inbox obv but i have an au (well okay this just applies to my characterization of cassie in general but it comes up the msot in relation to my au) and cassie has a tech spin from a young age.

the briefest i can make it is cassie had a special interest in tech from a young age cause her dad had a workshop and she watched him and that led to a fazco history spin next cause she was fascinated by older models and found articles when looking up the springlock suits.
