so that's what i've been working on for the past 2 weeks! i wanted to draw something for this intro ever since i first listened to it (as a companion piece to my other gur drawing, though it of course ended up being way bigger in scale), but it only really gripped me about halfway through PALISADE ep 18. the next morning after that i listened to this narration on repeat for about 45 minutes and then made a big sketch on 4 sheets of paper at my desk at work.

anyways, i haven't listened to the new episode yet but i think i'm probably ready for whatever they're gonna throw at us with the next sortie. i'm gonna believe, against it all, in millennium break. for gur

oh btw i spent all of my time away thinking about angelica and argalia uhhhhh vaguely sorted rough notes of some kind or whatever

Angelica was always the more sociable of the two. At first it was to get a leg up, but it eventually became a thing she did just for fun. She liked seeing what made people tick. What didn't. What saying certain things would get from people. (She was always a bit too soft at heart, in Argalia's opinion.) Shes very perceptive of how people act around her, and very good at hiding whats going on in her own head at the same time. The laid-back attitude helps.

Argalia, on the other hand, would much prefer if they stuck to themselves. He's not exactly Untrusting (though he is to an extent,) he just sees other people as some arbitrary riffraff thatd only get in the way. They're annoying, mostly. But he does know how to talk his way around things-- hes just a bit sharper with his tongue than Angelica is. He hides it pretty well, at least. Aside from that, Argalia is much less tempered to frustration than his twin is. He tends to get much sharper much quicker if things start going downhill-- so he simply makes sure that doesn't happen. He overplans just about everything, treating it like a game or challenge to overcome. He doesn't much like losing. (He doesn't understand how Angelica can be so lax about it. It worries him.)

After everything that had been done to him, Argalia had foolishly believed nothing else could hurt him as badly as what he'd already been through. Of course, this city finds ways to surprise you. Post-Pianist, he has a bit of a… main character syndrome going on. He believes he will be the one to lead the foolish world to freedom. They just didn't understand. He does though. It's no surprise they're too stupid to figure it out. (Such a shame that Roland lost it that badly. He cant say hes too surprised he reacted so gracelessly. Oh, well. What was he to do about it?)

The two are highly protective of each other, but it manifests in different ways. Argalia looks up to Angelica a lot, though it shows in a rather subtle way. He's much more passive in his defensiveness-- he doesn't much like letting much of his intent show, but he is just about always keeping an eye out for her.

Angelica, in contrast, will visibly take the lead if they're together, sometimes going so far as to physically put herself in front of her brother if she doesn't like the look of a situation. It's not something that shows very often, but she tends to get rather anxious if she is away from him for too long, or if she does not know where he is. Normally it isn't much of a problem, as they tended to be within vicinity of each other more often than not, but she can get rather fussy over him if she's nervous. (He never comments on it, but he always notices. He does his best to keep her from worrying.) It was a lot more prevalent when they were younger, but it's something that relaxes a lot with time.

God I love reading all the stuff you've said about Link. I love that idea you mentioned about him and Zelda sleeping next to each other for a while after the adventure is over. Do you have any thoughts about Link and Zelda's bond overall? How about Zelda herself?

i would think bc his dad is the knights captain, that Link ended up spending a lot of time around the castle growing up (i dont see a mom, therefore every day is take your son to work day), which is probably how him and zelda met and became such good friends. Because of both of their temperments (link at the beginning of the manga, zelda in the tower) i think they spent a lotta time doing mischevious little deeds and pranking the adults around the castle when they were younger. also. imagining them in the castle kitchen snatching pastries while hiding under the table. btw. if you even fucking care.

before manga starts i think zelda is getting way more tied up in royal business. which sucks for both of them but link is still sneakin in there and talking with her when its not really cleared for him to do so. implied by theirrrr dialouge ("is he gone?" "we used to go out and play in the flowers all day long. now youre too busy to even go out and SEE them") i also think they studied royal stuff together while zelda became more involved with the maidens and vaatis seal and everything else.

zelda. yuor parents where are they zelda . frowns. (i think shes more reserved now because she lost at least one of them recently, and thats why links dad goes up to Her and maybe not the king or anything for advice on links behavior?? unless i missed something) I LOVEDDDDD HER IN THE TOWER . shes not fucking giving in to this prick r u kidding me. i bet she read a bunch of history about the evil forces thatll one day attempt to take over hyrule so she was just prepared. (we get a lot of history from her and she knows exactly what she must do in a lot of scenarios) and she obviously Loves hyrule a lot.. so it makes sense shed feel more contempt for shadow vaati and ganon than fear.

i wish we got more of her. and saw more of how she and link interact. they are so cute.

I don't have specific stats for him (mostly because I've played as him so many times they're always a bit different), but the basics are that he's a high perception & endurance, low charisma & agility build.

he has high repair, medicine, survival and sneak, and has very low speech and barter skills. everything else is either kind of low or continues to slowly improve as he travels

Lupe was always a quiet man. though his figure was often imposing, he would always help others with a kind smile on his face. He is from Baja California del Norte, close to NCR territory :) he lived in a small community with friends and family.

The trek from Baja to California was easy enough for him, so he took on the job of courier!

blah blah being shot in the head by Benny blah blah retrograde amnesia. the jist of it is that he no longer remembers his family or his past. the first few days in good springs are very rough. the town assumes he was mute, and it honestly feels like he is. speaking is very hard. words of two languages getting jumbled in his brain. he has constant headaches and bad dreams.

Despite no longer knowing himself at all, he remains a very similar man. He's still quiet, though moreso than before, and he is still kind at heart.

I am still trying to figure out how arcade and him exactly meet, and how their relationship develops, but Arcade serves as an anchor for him. Though their relationship remains unlabeled and ambiguous for the most part, they both rely on each other. Arcade trusts him.

though he doesn't show, he is in anguish. he has dreams of people who's faces feel so familiar, yet are always out of reach. he doesn't want to be a murderer, a mercenary, a tool for a revolution he knows nothing about. he is so often trapped in his own mind, and arcade is always there to ground him.

I've written some stuff about him and Benny before, so I'm just gonna copy paste it on here lol

He's a snake. in the end, Arcade is relieved that Lupe doesn't seek vengance. would bring too much trouble into their lives.

other than that . . . . i mean I've written some other things, but theyre mostly misc stuff that I've already kinda explained on here ^^ Lupes story might still change.. I am still working on him & his character... sorry if any of this is structured weird by the way. i wasn't sure how to write it . I am also sorry for any typos!! i am writing this on my phone as I chew on scrambled eggs

I’ve been on my money making schemes again and i have people telling me i have ADHD.  just because i have so many ideas or i see things that i want to see that others can’t, i don’t feel that’s ADHD.  but then they tell me all the symptoms.  i just tell them i choose to act that way.  i can control my randomness.  they refuse to believe it.  so i tell them then i’ll just be “regular” and not do or react as much as i would normally.  just be low key.  try to please everyone but sometimes it’s tough.  i don’t know.

work is killer cuz we have a charge nurse who makes our lives tougher.  i’d have to spend the weekend to type it all out.  let’s just say that when i got together with him today to go over the supposed schedule that he was supposed to endorse to me for tomorrow, all he had done was which providers were in clinic or virtual.  nothing else.  no assignment as to who was supposed to rooming for who.  total BS.  i didn’t even know what to say.  i had to bite my tongue to keep from going off on him.  you know how much it takes to set me off.  let’s just say that what he did today was the last straw and i’m choosing to write to someone higher than our nurse manager about this situation because it is ridiculous.  yeah...it’s that bad.  i would have written to the higher up today but i had to create the schedule and take over charge duties because he was “busy”.  man...honestly, i’m just going to say what everyone is thinking.  you know i don’t talk or say much but when i talk, it’s for a reason.  he has given me reason despite the numerous chances i’ve given him.  

honestly Love, there’s not enough time in the day to tell you what’s on my mind and just to share with you what i want to say.  i’ve also been getting closer with that LPN but she is very clingy/needy.  her health problems complicates things even more.  i feel sorry for her and i want to do all i can to help her but i can’t and it sucks cuz she is constantly hurting or is in pain and i don’t know how to help her and it sucks.  let’s just say that the attraction is lopsided.  you already know that.  i don’t know how to handle it.  i purposely keep my distance while still trying to be close to her but she’s pretty much all in.  i guess it doesn’t help that i gave her money to help her out and now she feels like she is in debt to me and tries to make up for it in other ways.  i really should stop lending out money.  btw...did i tell you about one person i lent money to during one week...i saw them playing poker that weekend.  pissed me off.  talk about biting your tongue during a convo.  with him, i lent out the money out of pity but i’m getting it back and then some.  with her, it was more so to help and also as an investment.  the extent of how i’m helping though, i don’t think you want to know.  all i can say is that she needs help.

Hi everyone, I would appreciate your ideas regarding the following situation: My son had a car accident last week in a nearby WalMart parking lot (Dallas, Paulding County, GA). He was driving down a parking lane and hit a car which came out of nowhere cutting across the aisle. Both vehicles had extensive damage (front of the vehicle on our car, and driver side on the other car). There was a gentleman who saw everything and called 911. The sheriff's deputy arrived at the scene promptly. He explained there would be an accident report, but since this happened in a private parking lot, he was not in a position to state who was at fault. I got the report the other day and it states the facts about the accident and gives the contact information for the witness. I have spoken with the other driver's insurance company three times and I just found out that their claims rep has determined that my son was at fault, so they have denied my claim. The claim with them was actually originally filed by the other driver. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor and was advised that I should expect to receive a call from a supervisor soon. I did not get a chance to talk to my insurance rep after I found out the other insurance denied the claim, but I am not sure if there is anything my insurance can do for us, especially given the fact that we only have liablity coverage on this vehicle (no collision coverage either). I think it is really outrageous how they could claim my son was at fault, if all evidence points to the fact that their insured was driving across the parking lanes and obviously did not see our car. I cannot find anything online (like traffic regulations) that explicitly says that the driver cutting across the parking lanes is at fault if there is a collision, but I think it is common sense that this should be the responsible party! If anyone has had a similar experience, or has any suggestions, your help will be very much appreciated!""
