10. What keeps you in this fandom despite the very small amount of canon content the dca had?

I.LOVE.JESTERS !!!!!

Okay but for real I love these characters so much cause of how much personality pours out from just the little moments we have!

I love the daycare and I love how it's just so different!

I mean think about it!

Every single animatronic except for the puppet is based around an animal!

But these guys are diffent and I think that's one of the reasons why I got attached to them

Legit if you make a character that has jester/clown aesthetic and is a bit unhinged I'll be obssesed with them (jevil for example)

11. Be honest; if you had to pick only one, sun or moon?

God I'm so sorry moon but I have to say sun-

Trust me I adore moon! Love him with all of its creepy stuff, very good for angst too!

But sun! Ohhhh boy when I first laid my eyes on them I immediately knew; I'll be obssesed with them

Also! I love writing sun angst in my head- I'm sorry I do-

I just love all the possibilities that could happen with a seemingly a very happy and optimistic character

I just love characters who try to act as if everything is completely fine and trying so hard to lach to whatever normalicy is still there for dear life!

15. Do you interpet sun and moon as two sides of the same person, or truly two separate beings in one body? does it matter?

I see them as 2 seperate beings in one body :D

I just can't see them being the same person they have very diffrent roles and desings (not shape ofc but they are literal opposites with the sun and the moon)

I like to think that they used to in separate bodies before something happened that made them in one body

I already drew stuff like that!

Also I don't think it really matters, you can headcanon whatever you want as long as it's not illegal or gross :D

Honestly I don't really like x reader stories, no reson tbh just not really into them, I prefer sitting in the background and making 2 characters kiss like dolls :)

Anyway yeah! I just really like the ship like when I first got into the game and saw both of them my immediate reaction was "omg new ship!? AND THEY HAVE LITERALLY THE SUN AND MOON DYNAMIC!?" lmao

Based on canon? No not really I don't trust them

On fanon? Oh boy are there some fanfics/ fan comics am I excited for to update

There is this one sun x moon fic made by @stressed24seven (I follow them on insta) whish is a priest au with moon as the demon and sun as the priest and I live sun's characterisation it's so relatable and funny as hell

AND I'M WAITING SO HARD FOR CHAPTER 3 TO COME OUT

For sun, yes absloute 100% i would love to hang out with them and be my friend

They would probably sometimes be too much for me but nothing really bad

For moon.. well if we are talking about infected-moon then I'll be terrified imagine this 6 foot tall humanoid animatronic running at you in full speed with all fours while ALSO in the dark

That shit is scary-

But for pre-virus moon, i believe I'll get along with him :)

I see him as this very quiet but can be kinda sarcastic person who you can chill around

And I'm also a quiet person believe or not so we would get along :D

To answer both questions yes I still watch Helluva Boss however after their latest episode I think I will just stick to writing fanfiction about Blitz and Striker as well as stick to whatever content the fandom creates.

This episode if Imma be honest with you guys was not worth the wait, hell I was literally tempted to leave the episode as it just didn’t have my attention as the others.

The episode had some decent moments where I was chuckling a little but other than that I wasn’t that into it, to be honest the bad out weigh the good.

Also I wanna add that a while ago I wrote how Vivzipop and her crew did not know how to handle complex characters or complex scenes and I was right, this show and their crew do not know how to handle mature topics without reducing them into a joke but we are getting ahead of ourselves so let’s start with the pros, the cons, and everything in between.

Let’s start of with the pros,

Loona knowing when Blitz was being serious was a nice touch, it showed that even if Loona acts like she doesn’t care about Blitz she actually pays attention to him and knows when he is being serious and when he is joking around.

Moxxie was the true MVP his interaction with the agents had me smiling as well enjoying his moments.

Verosika, Fitzorallia, love them, love them

And that’s it...to be honest that’s it...like other than that that’s basically all that I like from that episode...

Now let’s get into the rest of this episode...

Okay was anyone other than me confused as to why they decided now was a good time to introduce the agents so late in the game?

Like at this point I am convinced that Vivizie and her crew are just winging it.

The agents were literally thrown in the show and it felt outta the blue, like I said it feels like Vivizie and her crew don’t know what they are doing and are just throwing things together like they could’ve given us hints that the agents were watching them, or give us a hint that they were being spied on, it didn’t even have to be big it could have just been small.

An example would be from my favorite book series Cirque Du Freak, in the first book Mr. Crepsely (a main character in the book) mentions something small that will become huge in later books, it was small but allowed the reader to be curious it gave the reader that something big was coming and we should be prepared.

Like I said it was a small hint but I left me curious and wanting to read more to find out more about what is going on.

Helluva boss didn’t do that it just threw this new idea and new characters without giving the others to grow.

If they gave us a hint that they were being watched it wouldn’t have felt like that idea came outta nowhere.

Also was I the only one that was uncomfortable with the way Blitz kept making jokes about the agent’s dead mom? I’m sorry but that was just wrong on soooo many levels.

Also with the truth serum thing...why did they use it if they weren’t even gonna get answers like again this came outta nowhere because the truth serum was supposed to make them speak the truth not look like they were tripping on acid. On less I missed something please let me now if I did.

Also to be honest the whole confession thing was once again treated like a joke, especially when Blitz asked Moxxie why he let Millie peg him, ummm...an emotional scene like that shouldn’t have jokes of any kind surrounding it, especially when it was supposed to be a heartfull moment.

Now Blitz ... okay Blitz and his vision was a little decent but I also didn’t like it. A lot of people had their speculation especially with the Stolas scene but the more I look at it the more I see it as a bittersweet moment.

Revealing that he was afraid of intamacy wasn’t that big of a surprised since we already knew that like it was nice for conformation.

Okay now onto the Sto*itz moment in the song ... like I said this was bittersweet moment,

People interpet the scene as how Blitz is afraid to love Stolas others saw it as Blitz was still chained to Stolas and would only be free if he and Stolas talk it out and another mentioned how he was forever chained to Stolas and how toxic the relationship between the two is.

Honestly I viewed it as how Blitz will be forever trapped in situations like this were he is to afraid to love someone or love himself and unless he comes to terms with his own demons he’ll forever be trapped in an endless cycle of pain and misery.

Now onto why I think that that Vivizie and her crew can’t handle mature themes.

Two characters have just had a revelation about their relationship with one another and instead of being honest with each other it gets turned into a joke...again...

Moxxie told Blitz what he felt and Blitz told him he treats him like shit cause its tough love...da freak ??? You just had a moment where you realized you pushed everyone away because you were afraid to be alone so you rather push everyone away so you have an excuse to let them leave and instead of admitting to that you just tell Moxxie it was all tough love.

Not to mentioned that you’re giving compliments and than tell him your done because your out of compliments...again you had a huge revelation and instead of giving the characters time to digest what they went through you just toss it to the side.

Another thing that pissed me off was how right after a huge moment you throw in a fight scene...I...why...just why ???

You had an emotional scene (that had no build up) but than throw it to the side for a fight scene that shouldn’t have been added at all.

Like the minute Millie and Loona saved them they should’ve opened up a portal and take them away not waste time on fighting only for them to get caught in the end.

Like I literally feel like they wasted all that time on animation than on writing and planning what they wanted from this.

Like again they had an emotional connection/scene and threw it to the side for some fight scenes which was a disappointment because had Loona and Millie saved them and take them home Blitz could’ve had some major character development and the four of them could have a heartfelt scene admitting everything that bothers them and help them get closer.

Nope, they decided to just throw a fight scene why I don’t know but it bothers me how they just tossed an emotional scene for some action scenes.

So yeah I am not happy with how that was handle at all.

Let’s also get to the Loona and Millie scenes...Millie crying for Moxxie once again made no sense as we never seen Millie care for Moxxie, hell she cares more for Blitz than Moxxie which is fucked up.

Hell when Moxxie was being critizied by her parents she didn’t do much to defend him hell Sally Mae was more honest with him than Millie.

Honestly Millie feels like she is being written by twenty different people who don’t know what they want from her.

And Loona, Loona could seriously be written outta the episode and nothing would changed.

Also they truly refused to let their characters grow seriously Moxxie was still treated like shit by Blitz in the end so yeah no character growth at all.

And now onto the last scene with Stolas and Blitz ... holy shit man Imma be honest with you guys Stolas asking for sex after saving them feels fucked up, to me it felt like the only reasons he saved the imps is so that he doesn’t get in trouble and for Blitz to reward him for saving them.

Again they could’ve had Stolas saving them and they could have had a heart to heart moment nope we had to toss all that emotional build up (if one can call it that) and toss it to the side for cheap jokes and a horny owl.

needless to say I was beyond disappointed with this episode and with the way they handle the “saddest” scene in the episode I am scared to see how they will handle the other scenes.

AGAIN I honestly don’t see why this episode took so long and I feel like Vivzie and her crew are more focus on the animation than anything else which sucks because this show has so much potential and it is being thrown to the side for pretty designs and shipping moments.

Anywhore that’s my thought on this show let me know what you guys think ^^

Hi, there is a reason I was not able to write about it again.

This canon ship and canon Juvia are indeed like water, being almost impossible to grasp. How can one analyse things without consistency and shape? I guess by getting wet and all-embracing since every concrete scene analysis will be counter able by other scenes.

Additionally, Hiros Mashimas established definition of “love” within the franchise makes it also really difficult to argue anymore within this universe…

at the same time it demolished also any value ability of this series, meaning and morality which it may had hold for the real world so far but ok he was willing to pay this price to find an ultimate plot excuse for his poorly execution of his story and characters towards the end, while he was overworked by three big projects and travelling, leaving him not even time to think and to conclude his masterpiece appropriately .

A refresher for all, his definition of love would be that one can only truly love somebody if one wants the best for this person despite hating this person for other character sides or due to actions he or she did in the past.

This definition was established when Marvis was saving the “life” of her sexual abuser who threatened humanity and worse and pretty much now justifies Nalu, Gruvia, Jerza who may be to some extend abusive ships…...

It was a newly made definition and contradicts the previously established love definition throughout the series.

Love was previously a feeling of home, acceptance, friendship, support, understanding, despite how strong you are, where you come from or how beneficial you were, as established not only within the guild the members towards their master, family, friends

Lucys love for her guild based on these experiences was stronger than towards her own father who provided her everything except enough love since he was still grieving about the loss of her mother and who even wanted to determine her partnership.

Ren and Sherry become a couple being compatible as fuck, Bisca and Alcsec the same, Gajeel fall in love with Levy rebuild a love relationship by scratch based on these values and oh boy their relationship is beautiful.

In case of our other canon ships well lets only focus on gruvia

Despite people interpreting the water prophecy different than I do, Gruvia was not really treated nicely at the beginning of the series

Juvia who experienced happiness in her life at the first time by meeting Gray thought she can obtain him and secure an eternity happiness by doing so. I selected the word obtain intentionally, since she was using it herself.

Her happiness resulted due to Grays kindness towards her.

To obtain Gray she offered him to protect him, and she started to try to monopolize him, which is seen at different covers as well.

It was shown that she didn t understand and cared for his will to protect other bonds. And sadly she didn t till the very end eventhough she stated differently. First she didn t understand his bond to Erza, Lucy, Lyon and at the End Natsu, being surprised that he would help Erza despite Erza being stronger than him or most others, Lucy by fighting even injured or hanging out with her eventhough he had now Juvia, his bond to Lyon was interpeted as lover instead as a brother, protecting Natsu against Zeref, was for her also really “new”. Simply put, she does not understand that he finds happiness by several people for her a monopolized lover is the key for happiness and there they are not compatible.And this is portrayed in media as if that would be the case contradicting the whole franchise most important message.

( She reminds me of Pinocchio but she never received a more human becoming development)

Furthermore she is portrayed as a real fangirl, not loving gray for who he is since she does not even know, ask, understands him but for what he did for her and later on also for others? There is even a scene she is dreaming gray up being different shonen characters she would all marry.

It is also not as if others would not have offered her to get a closer relationship to them… Juvia is just not interested in that.

However, she claimed that fairytail was making her happy at the famous Cana Game Scene so she seemed to be pretty happy with them.

This scene is really important, aswell as the ova where she proved that she would trust Gray over his behaviour tricking everyone.

These were scenes where I personally thought it could develop into sth but these were the only exceptions... so ... yeah he let me down even there I guess.

Juvia was willing to change to get Grays affection also willing to lose her identity and self independency since being dependent of gray would mean being together with him, as fighting partner or as a person he has to protect now. (I rather preferred her when she said she was stronger than him and wanted to protect him, but well I guess she is not really just fine to love him only as she putted it and wants to feel loved..... by heroic harmful ways like he did for the others... male authors have a really war time driven love declaration definition)

So what is the problem… “it is fucking crazy that a person is doing that” ( Grays wording), however is she a person or is she water indeed… which can produce blood conveniently ….. Can one expect her even to behave like a human?

Yes to not be alone is nice but well she did not give him really an option to chose somebody else and then it got a habit…… is this really love?

Well maybe

I mean I would also love my dog, for eating my left overs and following me around and being there if I am sad losing my dad

To be in a relationship, maybe intending to get a family together and to live together 24 h a day

In my regard not enough

I at least would like to have a partner who respect my boundaries, knows me, supports me how I need support and not how my partner thinks what I would need

I would like to be also a friend of my partner and I would like to have friends beside this partner.

But ok, I also have a different definition of love, love as a feeling of extreme friendship, trust, understanding, comfort and would love to be equal partners playing together the game called life

But oh well this is just a realistic healthy relationship goal I have and I thought and assumed Gray would as well by acting like a rather normal nice person which seemed to have changed suddenly to make way for the next generation, how lovely

However, this is fiction and the words and scenes of the all mighty author are inviolable

Except maybe if he would contradict himself.

Or if he would have admitted that he hadn’t enough time to think things though and would have said that he would have rushed things or if mistakes like scar positions and plot inconsistency may exist

And in case people are using a certain flashback scene as contra argument….

For my part at least, I do not trust Juvias imagination, wording and memories, and by looking at canon material I wonder if you would

How exactly is it nice to throw water slicer at lucy and gray in in the police ft spinoff an attack which destroyed the avatar girl in the avatar arc ? Only because he prevented Lucy to fall and hurt herself?

Juvia really evolved into a better person hasn’t she
