"He threw an arm out to protect his face, ducking as sharp talons raked across his sleeve tearing at the fabric and then the skin beneath. The irksome bird was anything but small and the momentum caused him to fall back, sprawling across the floor as pain lanced through his forearm.
The bird had used him as a launching pad, flying past him into the room. A second more human shout was let out behind him and he whipped his head around to see.
It wasn't just the crow but also a man. A black clad figure covered it's head trying to protect itself from sharp talons and a heavy beak."
Its finally bird time!!

Part of the @moshangevents 2023 Big Bang!
Vice has put together an amazing fairy tail, and I am very excited to share everything we've been working on!
Gonna be abusing the fact this is my newborn baby account and I can shower it with old art that Tumblr hasn't seen yet. Weee!

wow haven’t posted here in a long time. I’ve done some art since the last time but I’ve been a bit insular. Have some of my latest obsession. A friend mentioned SVSSS but in Jurassic park and this immediately came to mind.
So I have this habit when I’m going through old sketchbooks. I find some free space and re sketch pieces of the characters. Instead of gokng yo bed on time that’s what I did tonight. Originals are from 2003-2008 thereabouts newer skrtches are today (2018) I really like doing this because it shows me how I’ve progressed as an artist.
I also really enjoy this because it brings me back to a time when I was less afraid of creating. I made whatever character I felt like whenever I felt like it. Didn’t prep, often didnt know what I was drawing til it happened. Every backstory was better than the last.
I need to get back into using a sketch book. Maybe just to get thst feeling back.
Someone on Twitter DM’d me today like “I was told brushes matter the most when digital painting"
and I want to make sure people know this is absolutely not true
I use one brush for 99.9% of everything I’ve ever drawn digitally for the last ten years, and it’s a basic round brush that came with the program
Can you draw faster with cool brushes? Yes absolutely. Cool brushes do cool things, and you should have fun and use whatever tools you want to make your art.
but honestly I could have drawn all my portraits with lipstick and they would be just as good because no tool can replace skill
and most importantly don’t think you’re not allowed to make art without a magic brush because you are allowed. Dorothy didn’t need the ruby slippers, Harry was the final Horcrux, and Lone Star had the Schwartz with him the whole time.

Fun Fact
BuzzFeed published a report claiming that Tumblr was utilized as a distribution channel for Russian agents to influence American voting habits during the 2016 presidential election in Feb 2018.
