I’m from the USA and have never had the honor of seeing @taylorswift in concert, but I’m so excited to see that she is going to so many places besides here. I made this edit of Taylor as Supergirl simply because she in fact is my real life Supergirl and let me tell you why - her music has always helped and been there for me no matter what emotion or what issue I go through, simply I can like someone but not be able to tell them and Taylor has a song for that, I can be stabbed in the back by my friends and she has a song for that meanwhile her music will get me through it all and tell me everything is gonna be okay, then for me Taylor inspires hope, faith, no judgment and love as she loves us unconditionally. Just like Supergirl Taylor stands up for what she believes in and that’s equality for everyone across the whole spectrum of issues, equal pay, equal rights, no double standards, you name it. She believes in her femininity and embraces it and won’t let anyone steal it away from her, she will make sure as a woman she gets accepted and respected and she will tell us women and young girls to try and do the same, she will embrace us to stand tall and fight for ourselves because she knows she can do it and that we can too. She believes in us all and will always be there for us whether it’s making sure our voices are heard or important issues are taken care of, through her music - when we’re going through hard or happy times or when we’re sad or crazy in love, she’ll be there to navigate us through it all. Her strength, femininity, courage, power and love WILL always inspire me to be better, stronger, to hope, have faith and get me through anything that comes between me and having a happy, successful and healthy life. I want to thank Taylor for being my own real life representation of Supergirl and a best friend, hopefully one day I’ll get to thank you in person and tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you and hug you so tightly and lovingly as if my life depended on it.
