I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.

- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.

- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.

- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.

#Every time I lay down after a bad day (which is honestly every day considering my mental health) my kitty comes up to bed #and she would always want to lay down on my chest or as close to my face as possible— but every night it's always on my chest #she'd always purr #and I know that she's trying to help heal me from whatever sadness or Wound that is affecting me #I always tear up a little when she does that #cat #reliving

learning that people want you in their lives is a skill you can develop if it does not come naturally

#no friendship rots in my heart #each and every one of them are safely tucked away in cozy places behind my ribs #sometimes I remember that they taught me certain tricks as I did for them #and I wonder if my friend still colors the same way while I composed proper songs like she aught me #and if it's a subconscious thing (ir probably is they stick like that) #txt #reliving

idk man, i just wanna write a fic that someone reads obsessively at 3am. a fic that someone loses sleep to finish because just one more chapter and tries to give multiple kudos. a fic that people will leave a comment on every chapter. i want to write a fic that people will recommend to others, that they think nails the characterization and relationship dynamic. i want to write someone’s comfort fic, someone’s favorite fic, or someone’s fic they read when they want to re-read something. i want to be that fic writer. i want to write that fic.

The internet is so fucking weird to artists who make anything interesting "thanks! I hate it" "this is cursed" "i love this but i hate this" you realize some people aren't drawing memes all the time right and art can be a medium of expressing complex feelings and writing off ppls expressions as a joke is so weird i hate meme poisoned weirdos
