I’m taking a break from my blog right now as trying to do anything that brings me excitement feels wrong during these times. My thoughts are always with Palestine where innocent civilians including CHILDREN are losing their lives in masses every single day. The lack of access to basic necessities like food, water, electricity, and basic humanitarian aid is so unfair and is a violation of human rights. Plus it is causing additional deaths and is again, just a complete disregard for human rights.

It feels odd to sit at my laptop and write when my mind is constantly flooded with images of families being torn apart, hospitals being bombed, and men in flip-flops digging up their children from under the rubble.

I feel helpless watching families being displaced from their homes. Entire bloodlines are being wiped out. I can’t even fathom that.

I hope the conversation about Palestine keeps growing. This is not another trend; it's a horrific and ongoing crisis that needs immediate and mass attention. Please take the time to educate yourselves and others. Even from behind a screen, every effort can make a significant difference. Palestinian people deserve peace and liberation on their land.

While I am not Palestinian, I am a Muslim, so I will always feel compelled to speak up against the injustices that the people of Palestine face daily. But it’s important to say that your faith, race, or ethnicity should not be a factor in addressing this issue. We have to talk about Palestine with the same urgency and attention that other useless events receive. (met gala, award shows, celebrity news etc.)

People need to understand that every small contribution, whether it’s through an instagram story repost or a tumblr thread, can make a huge difference. These things can seem insignificant but it’s an opportunity to change perspectives, educate, and contribute to a broader understanding of the situation. It’s our responsibility to be the voices for those who are not able speak for themselves.

Remaining silent or neutral during a GENOCIDE is 100% siding with the oppressor, even if it's unintentional. You cannot possibly be neutral in a situation where one nation has immense power and resources, while the other nation has been stripped of water, food, fuel and electricity. It needs to hit people that we are witnessing a genocide in real-time. Take a moment to reflect on how insane that really is. Open your eyes.

The ability to click off your phone and escape the topic of genocide is a privilege. While these innocent Palestinian's endure nothing but torture on a daily basis.

Another thing I wanted to add is that when people pick and choose which issues to advocate for, it causes more harm than good. If you advocate for other issues such as Ukraine, LGBTQ+ rights, BLM, the Holocaust, and 9/11, you need to be vocal for Palestine.

So while the blood of Palestinians may not directly be on the hands of silent/neutral people, they are still complicit with being okay with GENOCIDE. So please, please speak up. Use your resources and your voice to do good for others.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

most romantic mf on the planet. i mean weekly date nights, flowers and gifts at random times. he insists he does all that because he wants to make up for the time he spends in the studio and you really can’t complain with 2k hanging from your neck

pet names!!!!! and from the both of you. you will almost never call each other by your actual name. also it’s literally anything from babe, baby, love, sweetheart, honey.

backtracking to date nights. if it’s something more casual, you will catch a movie and then go out for dinner or you’ll walk around town and window shop. if it’s something formal though, you’ll get dressed up and eat out at a fancy restaurant and then explore the area afterwards talking about anything and everything.

he would get you to listen to his new music before anyone else would. and in all honesty he only really considers and trusts your opinion on what he should release.

you would be his number one supporter no matter what project he was working on. you’d attend as many shows as possible and watch from backstage or even in front of barricade, sometimes. you’d also go to visit him on set if he was filming something, which he’d really enjoy.

while on the topic of music, he is definitely the master of writing tacky songs and then playing then on the guitar you both know it’s cringey but deep down you absolutely love it.

like he’ll notice you being down one day and he’ll tell you to give him five minutes, and before you know it, he’s back and singing some lyrics about how beautiful you are and how he hates when you’re down.

dumb arguments about dumb things are a give. whether it’s about a missing sweater or who has to do the dishes. no matter what though, he will be the first to apologize. (he’s for that princess treatment)

he’s also pretty jealous but it’s like he’s execute it in a toxic or harmful way. he knows his limits and he knows he trusts you but sometimes he cannot help but start imaginary beef with any man that makes conversation with you.

you’d be the IT couple at every event with your matching outfits every time!!! anytime you attend an event together the pictures end up blowing up on social media.

you’d be everyone’s favourite/comfort couple. every time you post some dumb tiktok with him, it’ll end up going viral with tons of likes and comments.

he’s very clingy and i stand by that. your doing laundry? he’s following you around. at an event? he’s trailing behind you. even to the bathroom. you’re running errands? he’s up and ready to go.

you’d assume the clinginess would get annoying at times, but you absolutely love it.

enjoying the most mundane activities together. like folding laundry, cooking, and doing your skincare.

he’s is 100% the type to say that a moment is cute out loud and ruin the moment. it makes you laugh out loud every time he does it.

you’ll be sitting out on the balcony smoking a joint and he’ll say something around the lines of, ‘this is like out of a movie’. you’ll laugh but you agree. ‘dom, when you say it out loud, it ruins it!’

while on the topic of smoking, you guys spend every saturday night out on the balcony smoking a joint or hitting a bong and just talking about random shit and giggling the entire time.

posting each other all the time. he’s always posting cute pictures of you on his story and feed and you’ll post cute pictures of you two together.

his family would absolutely adore you. you’d spend girls day with his little sister quite often. you and his mom would call each other often and talk about anything.

he’s really sensitive even though he might not seem like it. you always watch him closely at events or even during nights out with friends to see if anything is bothering him or if someone’s pissing him off. to you, he’s very easy to read and you know exactly what to do.

you are also so open with each other about every little thing. you’re the definitely the couple that tells each other the tiniest little details about your day. you’ll get texts from each other like ‘just ate an apple’, ‘i put chia seeds in my smoothie’. and just cute things like that.

bomb. ass. sex. do i even need to elaborate??? it’s just so good and keeps you both happy and the relationship super healthy.

super touchy too!! throughout the day he has to have a hand on your boob, thigh, over your shoulder, or on your hip. literally anywhere at all times.

𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: you and your boyfriend get matching tattoos 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: cursing, sexual jokes

You and Dominic had been discussing matching tattoos for months now. You both loved the idea, but the only issue was that neither of you could agree on what your tattoo would be. That had been the case until earlier today when Dominic had finally compromised on getting cherries as your tattoos.

To you, cherries were simple yet symbolic of your relationship. Dominic liked the idea, but he argued that it should be something more corny. After hours of reasoning and many puppy eyes later, Dominic had finally accepted defeat to those damn cherries.

"Babe, what should I wear?" you questioned, looking at yourself in the mirror, trying to think of an outfit. "Nothing at all if it was up to me," he deadpanned, scrolling mindlessly through his phone.

"Dom, I'm being serious," you turned to glare at him as a wide smirk developed on his face, and he replied, "I am the most serious I've probably ever been." You rolled your eyes in response, walking into the closet in search of an outfit.

"How's this?" you said walking out after a few minutes. "Perfect," he eyed you for a second before looking back at his phone. No matter what outfit you put on, it was perfect to him, meaning he was zero help.

You turned to face the mirror, having to trust your own opinion in this situation. "Is it too booby?" you asked yourself, caressing the top of your tank top.

The look on his face told you he was thinking of another sly remark. "Nothing is ever too booby," you giggled and walked over to your dresser to grab your purse.

As you checked your phone before heading out, you heard the sound of one of Dominic's notorious dramatic sighs. "What're you so loud for?" you jokingly asked as you placed a pair of small gold hoops on your bare ears.

You heard Dominic walk over to you, placing his arms around your waist and nuzzling his head into the back of your neck.

"'Cuz I'm bored," he mumbled into your neck. "I've been watching Reddit confessions for like a million years." The buzz of his words on your neck sent a chill down your spine.

"It's not my fault you were ready two hours ago," you said, turning to face him, placing a soft kiss on his lips. "Plus, you love those Reddit confessions," you added, pulling away from the kiss.

The drive there was quick. You talked about everything from his new music to some gossip about your friends.

"Still set on those cherries?" he asked, pulling into the parking lot. "Yes, one hundred percent set," you smacked your glossy lips together as your last touch. "Then let's go!"

You two walked towards the building, hand in hand. "I'm nervous," you admitted. "Why? You'll be okay," Dominic replied, rubbing your back for reassurance. "And you should be perfectly fine since you got to pick the tattoo." He turned to you with a mischievous grin.

"I didn't pick it. We agreed on it," you stepped into the store as Dominic held the door open. "Yeah, yeah, whatever," he said before wrapping his arm around your shoulder as you made your way up to the counter.

"Hi, we're here for an appointment at four thirty," you greeted the lady at the counter. "Oh! A couples tattoo. That's fun!" She pulled out a waiver and some pens for you to sign.

"Yeah, we've been talking about it for a while, and we were both free today, so I was like, why not?" you explained as Dominic signed the waiver. "What are you guys planning on getting?" she questioned, as Dominic finished signing the papers and handed them to you.

"We're getting matching cherries," Dominic answered as you continued reading the waiver. "We had them for dessert on our first date." The lady's face softened at Dominic's reasoning. "Awe, that's beautiful," she replied softly, making you blush.

You turned your head towards Dominic before mumbling, "And you said it wasn't as corny." You finished signing the waiver and passed it back. "Okay, perfect! I'll have you guys set up in a couple of minutes," she announced before walking off into the back.

You and Dominic took a seat, and you laid your head on his shoulder. "Dom?" you mumbled, barely loud enough for him to hear you. "Yeah, love?" he looked down at you, ready to listen to whatever you had to say.

"If you really don't want to get the cherries, we can do something else. I don't mind, I promise," you admitted, immediately reading his face for a response.

He let out the slightest chuckle. "Babe, if I really didn't want those cherries, I would've been on your ass about it," he smiled, brushing his hands through your hair. "And plus, I'd get your face tatted on my cheek, so I have zero issues with this," he added, and a wide smile grew on your face.

"You're very corny, you know that?" you spoke after a few seconds of silence. "It's my specialty, really," he laughed and placed a kiss on your head.

"We're ready for you two!" the lady called out. You and Dominic stood up as he grabbed your hand. "Ready?" he asked as you started heading towards the tattoo chairs. "Readier than ever, babe!" you exclaimed.

You two sat in the chairs, still holding hands, as the tattoo artist introduced himself. You stared at Dominic as he made conversation, and you noticed a smile develop on your face. A smile that displayed nothing but love and commitment. And you thought to yourself, what is committing if not getting a matching tattoo?
