04.04.21 | happy easter, everyone!!! just finished studying 1/3 of topics for tomorrow’s exam. if I feel like it tonight, I might also push myself to study 1-2 topics for tuesday’s exam. :)

hung up some postcards and lists to keep me company while i spend some extra quality time with my desk this exam season 

(since over half of my teachers announced they are taking early vacations and won’t be available to help us prep or take our first ever finals) ^^

Journal extract - ‘There is a story I tell myself on days when things are hard. An almost fairytale I come back to every time. And each time I write it like it was the first. The characters are always different, but the story is usually the same. The characters shelter from a storm. They find a place of safety. They hide away, just for a little while. Until the storm passes. And on days when things seem rough, when there is no calm to the chaos, I retreat into that story, I immerse myself with those characters. And I wait for the storm to pass.’
