I also just made the discovery a few days ago that fish have teeth by getting into an argument with a friend about it, and whether or not the anglerfish having them would count as supernatural. I really thought they didn't, until I googled pictures.

Jonny, I stumbled apon your blog on complete accident and it may have been the best accident of my life. I have but one burning question I must know-

What is your favourite animal?

Oof, what a question - there are some real bangers out there in the ol' animal kingdom.

As a kid I was very into tigers. Loved those big stripy fellas - my grandmother used to cut out pictures of tigers from magazines and present them to me in a manila folder when I visited. I never asked her to do this and didn't have any use for the pictures, but she gave me a lot of them.

Penguins are also up there - waddling around having a good time. Feeding time at the penguin habitat is always a highlight of any zoo visit. Sure, maybe they make houses out of their own shit, but who are you to judge?

Seals as well, especially when they're fully in orb mode. Just wobbly ocean friends!

Plus, if I'm down the aquarium anyway, I always make a beeline for the pacu fish. Big, dumb motherfuckers just swimming about like idiots - they bring me a lot of joy. Plus I recently discovered they have human-like teeth, so that's a win for team Your Nightmares.

Also sharks. Every week is Shark Week if you're not a coward.

In the end, though, if I had to pick a current favourite, the one that brings a smile to my face even in its crudest doodle rendition, why, 'tis none other than the humble crab. They come in a plethora of shapes, sizes, colours and flavours, and every one of them is just a silly little guy.

hi so I know there are a ton of christians out there who are super obsessed with being moral and in the right bc their worst fear is going to hell

which means in the season five tma fearpocalypse there is a desolation domain dedicated to those people in which they are in 'hell' being tortured by demons for their sins

this means that post-eyepocalypse there was a small group of people who very much thought that the literal rapture had taken place and must have been VERY confused to come out and hear people talking about 'domains' and 'avatars' and 'watchers' and something about a short-ass twink running on self hate and eldritch terror alone + his knife-wielding boyfriend when obviously these people just got left behind for their sinful nature

i can't stop thinking about S4 jon encountering some bog-standard normal ass petty criminal. like imagine you see this scrawny, exhausted dude walking alone at night, and sure he looks a bit odd with the weird scars but you're sure that you can take him. you restrain him easily, threaten him, but he doesn't seem scared at all, just...bored? unimpressed, like you're an inconvenience to him? you press the knife tighter to his throat and he doesn't bother to struggle, just asks you who you work for, and you don't want to answer but the words tumble out before you can stop them - and this, your answer, is what seems to shake him. his resigned expression shifts into something that starts to scare you, something hungry. he says, "i'm sorry, but i need your story," and his eyes aren't quite right, and your head fills with static.

Tbh while I respect and understand ppl disliking certain vessels esp ones like Razor, Nightmare, and Tower (and a couple more) who are just straight up cruel, I just can't hate any of them. It doesn't feel right. Even Vessels I don't like all that much personally, I can't bring myself to feel anything worse than tolerating them but appreciating their narrative role

And when thinking about it more, I think I feel this way bc WE make her into what she is. She's only cruel bc of us. She's only distrustful bc of us. She becomes terrible bc WE made her like that. It seems kinda unfair to me personally to hate her when I'm the exact reason she's so fucked up and awful like that in the first place. When what she becomes is what she is thought to be

I feel like Shifty herself is the only Princess this doesn't apply to (though this is based off the assumption she has more control over what form she takes and what she becomes than her vessels are)

Debated posting in the tags but I need to see if this is just a me thing or if anyone else feels this way about the vessels
