Composite Chart Notes 🪐

Hi everyone, please do not copy or repost anything I write on other social media platforms :) I recently became aware of a Pinterest page reposting all my posts from TikTok/tumblr! I don’t have a Pinterest for my astrology blog :)

A composite Aries Rising, can often indicate a very active couple. They may enjoy partaking in various sports or various forms of physical activities together. However, they can appear to be a very argumentative couple, this is especially true of mars, mercury, or pluto squares the composite ascendant. Their conflicts can often be made public.

This is interesting because in terms of long-distance couples, I often see Uranus conjunct the descendent or Uranus in the 3rd house in their composite charts. A composite Sag or Aqua rising is also common in the charts of couples who are long distance.

The North Node in the composite 5th house can indicate a couple who have children together.

Another indication of a “hidden” or private relationship, is if the composite chart ruler is in the 12th house.

This is more of a personal anecdote, but I once had a man slide in my DMs on Instagram. We had mutual followers but I didn’t personally know him. Long story short, he just began offering to buy me things/send me money with nothing in return. Obviously I found that kind of suspicious as there’s usually a catch! He didn’t even push meeting me in person! We just kinda spoke online for a bit. I got his birth details and ran a synastry chart between us. We had no 2nd or 8th house overlays. However, his Jupiter did aspect my Sun (which explains why he was so generous towards me). I then took a look into our composite chart, and our composite Sun & Moon are both in the composite 2nd house! Additionally , the ruler of our composite ascendant is in the 8th. Which explains why our relationship is literally based on him sharing his resources with me, giving me money, and buying me things. Obviously not all relationships with this kind of configuration will play out like this, I just thought this was so interesting.

There can be elements of sexual idealizations in relationships where there are hard Mars-Neptune aspects in the composite chart. One or both people may feel as if they have met their “dream” sexual partner if the orb is particularly tight. However, once the illusion or initial “high” fades. This aspect can prove to be problematic in many ways. There can be deceptions and disappointments that start to manifest. Mars square Neptune is common to see in the charts of *affairs* or short lived sexual relationships. However, please remember the entire chart needs to be taken into consideration.

Couples who travel a lot together usually have significant 3rd and 9th house placements in the composite. Jupiter in the composite 9th, 3rd, or conjunct the composite Mercury can also indicate a couple that travels frequently.

A couple with Jupiter or Venus in the composite 7th house, can make very good business partners. Couples who have the ruler of their composite midheaven, in the 7th house, may also decide to go into business together.

In one of my older posts I remember saying that couples who have their Composite Mars making a conjunction to their Composite Ascendant can come across as being quarrelsome, as their arguments are often made public. However, I have also found that couples who have Mars conjunct the Composite Midheaven, can also come across as being argumentative ( with each other and with other people). This is most likely because Mars conjuncting the MC would in most cases square the Composite Ascendant.

People with Jupiter in the 8th or Part of Fortune in the 8th house in their natal chart can often find success when trading or investing!

When your Solar Return Mercury makes a conjunction to the Solar Return Midheaven, you may have to travel for work. I have also found this to be true when you have the ruler of the solar return midheaven placed in the 9th house. I want to emphasize that placements can play out many different ways this is just one of the ways I have seen these two placements manifest.

An afflicted Saturn in the 3rd house of a composite chart can often indicate communication problems within a relationship. There can be verbal misunderstandings, silent treatments, or just differences in communication styles as a result of this placement. However, it is always important to remember that a single placement cannot derail an entire relationship, you will need to look at both the composite and Synastry charts holistically.

A Solar Return year in which you have the ruler of your Solar Return 4th house in the 9th, can be the year where you move or relocate abroad.

In synastry, when your North Node makes a conjunction to someone else’s Midheaven vise versa you two have the potential to impact each other’s career trajectories quite significantly. I have actually found that it is often the Midheaven person who introduces the North Node person to people who have the ability to advance them on their career path.

People who have planets that make a conjunction to your Sun/Moon midpoint are likely to have a significant impact on you (especially if the orb is exact). For example, if someone’s Moon makes a conjunction to your sun/moon midpoint you can feel a strong emotional pull towards them vise versa.

Individuals with their natal Venus, Mars, or descendent in Sagittarius can often find themselves in long distance relationships or in relationships with people who are very different to them. There can be a difference in religion, race, nationality, political beliefs etc…

Something I find so interesting is that I personally know someone who met their spouse in the time frame (+- 2 months) that they had their Solar arc Venus making an exact conjunction to their natal descendent! I am thinking of making a separate post about Solar Arcs for those interested to know how to interpret them and what they are!

If you have Uranus in your natal 6th house, you are best suited to work environments that provide you with a lot of freedom and autonomy. Interestingly, people with Uranus in the 6th house, are also more likely to own exotic pets.

Chiron in the natal 3rd house can manifest as having a speech impediment, attention difficulties, or problems in early education. It can also indicate a difficult relationship with a sibling or siblings. In some instances, a 3rd house Chiron can indicate a fear of driving or some kind of ‘wounding’ surrounding cars and short-distance traveling,

Moon in Partner’s 1st house

When your Moon falls into your partners 1st house, a close emotional bond is often indicated. 1st house overlays tend to create a sense of “like-mindedness” between two people. Thus, the pair are likely to feel as if they are “kindred spirits”. The Moon person intuitively understands the motivations and feelings of the Ascendant person, vise versa. This overlay can indicate feelings of comfort and ease between the two individuals . As with all overlays, you want to see how the planets are aspected. Thus, If the Moon person’s Moon adversely aspects many of the house person’s planets, the Moon individual has the potential to significantly impact the house persons confidence levels, and the manner in which they show up in the world. However, if well-aspected, the Moon person can remarkably increase the Ascendent persons self-confidence. This is an overlay that you often see between two people who can often tell what the other is feeling, just by looking at them.

With this overlay, the house person can feel as if the Moon person provides them with a sense of emotional security. Moreover, this overlay also contends that the Moon person has the ability to significantly impact the house person’s finances and feelings of self-worth. In some instances, the Moon person can become emotionally invested in matters related to the house persons finances and possessions. Whereas, the house person can become emotionally dependent on the Moon person (and vise versa). There is the potential for feelings of possessiveness to develop in this union. However, the 2nd house emphasizes the need for comfort and stability. Thus, the pair are inclined to feel emotionally “grounded” around each other. If the Moon is adversely aspected, the two can have a negative impact on each other’s finances and self-worth. Nevertheless, the pair will likely build an emotional connection that is largely based on their shared values.

Emotions between the pair can often be intellectualized with this overlay. However, the ability to communicate about how each person is feeling is enhanced. This is often a very jovial, lighthearted, and pleasurable overlay. There is a “playfulness” to the emotions that are expressed between the two people. Interestingly, It is common to see a 5th house Moon overlay in the synastry charts of people who have children together. The Moon person stimulates the House person’s desire for romance, fun, creativity, and pleasure. Whereas, the Moon person is attracted to the house person’s approach to casual dating, creativity, children, and hobbies. The pair often bond over their shared interests and hobbies. Although the 5th house is not known to produce ‘staying power’, it can definitely add to the attraction that two people have towards each other over time. Long term couples that have 5th house synastry overlays (it is possible to find them despite what is often said) essentially ‘never stop dating’. Thus, the passion and attraction tends to remain consistent (or strengthens) over time.

Moon in Partner’s 6th house

With this overlay, the Moon person can become very emotionally invested in the house person’s physical health, work, and daily routines. Whereas, the house person can feel supported by the Moon person , when it comes to how they approach their daily routines, work habits, and physical health. If well-aspected, these two are likely to be more productive together than they are apart. However, if adversely aspected, the Moon person can feel emotionally drained for having to take on too many of the house person’s responsibilities. In turn, the house person can feel as if the Moon person is too ‘nitpicky’, critical, or overly involved in their daily affairs. Although this is also not an inherently romantic overlay, the two people are likely to become attached to each other, as they are inclined to see the other as being an integral part of their daily routines or day to day life! At its best, this overlay can produce an emotional bond that is based on service, mutual assistance, practicality, and productivity.

Moon in Partner’s 7th house

This is one of the best overlays to have in romantic synastry. The manner in which the Moon person expresses their emotions tends to appeal to the house person. This is a common overlay to see in the charts of married couples. This is because they each stimulate the others emotional desire for commitment. Despite this, this overlay can create an emotional connection that is firmly rooted in compromise, equality, and partnership. A 7th house Moon overlay can also be a very beneficial overlay in a business partnership!

Moon in Partner’s 8th house

This can be a very intense synastry overlay. It is also an interesting one, as it is often said that the Moon person tends to “feel” this energy more. However, I would assert that you would need to look at the synastry chart holistically, and the individual natal charts to see who is inclined to ‘feel it more’. Nevertheless, this overlay can produce a dynamic between two people that is very hard to walk away from. The Moon person can often become very emotionally invested in the house person. Thus, the pair can find themselves intensely drawn to each other. Hence, elements of jealousy, obsession, power dynamics, and control often emerge. In its best manifestation, this can be a very emotionally healing overlay. The house person can find themselves wanting to open up about their trauma, crises, or painful emotional experiences. In it’s worst manifestation, the pair can find themselves feeling constantly triggered or manipulated by the other. This overlay is known to produce somewhat irrational feelings and behaviors. However, a positive manifestation is that the pair have the potential to help each other transform, evolve, and heal. There is the possibility that the two will form an emotional connection that is incredibly ‘deep’, intimate, and binding.

Moon in Partner’s 9th house

This is a very expansive overlay, and it is one that is highly underrated. The Moon person has the potential to impact the house person’s belief systems and worldviews. The Moon person is also likely to admire the house person’s optimism, intellect, and approach to foreign travel or higher education. Whereas the house person can feel as if the Moon person’s emotional nature is one that aligns with their core beliefs. This is another overlay that contends that the two will learn a lot from each other. If it is well aspected, the pair are likely to form an emotional connection that is strengthened by their shared beliefs and philosophies. There is also the potential that the two will introduce each other to new ideologies, cultural concepts, and ways of emotionally relating to others. The pair can also stimulate each other’s desire for travel, growth, and spontaneity. Interestingly, this overlay asserts that the manner in which they relate emotionally to each other, is inclined to be quite open-minded and accepting. A shared love for learning, travel, and adventure is often indicated by 9th house overlays.

Moon in Partner’s 10th house

The Moon person can become emotionally invested in the house person’s career affairs with this overlay. This is a wonderful overlay to have with someone you intend to work with or do business with! However, in a romantic relationship there can be an over-emphasis on the career or how they appear to others as a couple. Thus, one or both people can be overly concerned about how other people perceive their connection, rather then trying to foster a genuine close emotional connection. It must be said that people who are highly saturnian, career-oriented, or earth dominant can function very well under this influence. The house person can often feel as if the Moon person provides them with emotional support and encouragement, when it comes to their career pursuits. Whereas, the Moon person can be inspired by the manner in which the house person approaches their worldly ambitions and career objectives.

Moon in Partner’s 11th house

This is a wonderful overlay for friendship, as it creates feelings of genuine appreciation and “liking” of one another. The Moon person can become emotionally invested in the house person’s aspirations, networks, and friendships. Alternatively, it could be that the pair bond over their shared goals and mutual friendships. This is a good overlay to see in platonic relationships. However, in a romantic relationship the two can feel as if they are both lovers and friends! Interestingly, the pair can be very accepting of each other’s emotional quirks and eccentricities with this overlay. The Moon person often feels emotionally accepted by the house person. Whereas, the house person can feel encouraged by the Moon person to pursue their hopes and dreams. Emotional tolerance and unconditional acceptance are key themes here.

The 12th house in Astrology is often considered a “karmic” house. Thus, this can be an incredibly binding overlay between two people. The 12th house person can often feel emotionally exposed around the Moon person. However, the Moon person can feel as if the house person is elusive or difficult to read at times. Hence, the dynamic between the two can be confusing or unclear with this overlay. If well-aspected, this placement can foster a healing, intuitive, and forgiving emotional bond between two people. The House person is inclined to want to open up to the Moon person about all of their past traumas and experiences. Despite this, the Moon person may feel mistrustful of the house person, or feel as if they cannot fully “figure them out”. Astrology Observations 🌻

Thank you for all of the support! I’m overwhelmed by all the kind messages and how quick my following has grown, as I only started this blog in May!

I’ve compiled a random list of observations down below 🤍

Jupiter, or Venus in the 5th house of a composite chart can show a potential for the two people to have children together (if they wish to). As mentioned before, it’s not uncommon to have children with people you share 4H or 5H synastry with.

People who have Lilith (black moon) in the 8th often have a very strange/profound fascination with death. These are the people who enjoy watching true crime documentaries, or just reading up on crime/death.

Some astrologers argue that Venus in the 12H of a Solar return can suggest a year where you may have a “hidden romance” or maybe even a ‘secret affair’. No, this doesn’t mean that you literally will be cheating, it just means that your romantic life will be kept a secret for whatever reason that year. I’ve also seen this placement suggest an increased interest in spirituality and the occult during that year.

Transit Jupiter making a trine to your natal Venus is a very auspicious transit when it comes to your finances! If you have a business, you will likely see an increase in customers/sales during this transit.

Chiron in the 4th house can point to familial trauma, but it can also indicate deep-rooted emotional pain. It’s not uncommon to see people who have a Chiron in the 4th house struggle with their mental health.

You might literally dream about people that you have 12H synastry with! This is especially true if you have 12H synastry involving the moon, venus, or neptune. In some instances, mercury can also apply.

You might find that the house in which your natal mars is placed is the area of life in which you have to constantly defend yourself. For example, someone with an 11H mars will have to defend their friendships, and their goals and ambitions! They may also experience frequent opposition from “friends” or encounter seemingly never ending obstacles when it comes to attaining their worldly ambitions.

If your Neptune squares your ascendant you need to be very careful about the image you are projecting, and to a lesser degree the people you surround yourself with. This is because people will have the tendency to project their idealistic perceptions or insecurities onto you. You are someone who can easily be misunderstood, and your intentions are not always clear to others.

When your progressed ascendant enters Pisces, you will find yourself increasingly sensitive to the energies of others. You will likely feel a need to be on your own, and you will begin to explore matters related to meditation, spirituality and the occult quite intensely. You might find that you no longer resonate with certain energies anymore, and you will seek out souls who are spiritually inclined or attuned to the spiritual realms.

People who have their moon In the 9th house, often form very strong emotional attachments to their beliefs. It’s not uncommon to see deeply religious/philosophical people have multiple 9H placements.

People who have Saturn as their dominant planet may feel as if their lives are objectively more difficult that other peoples. Saturn dominant individuals are often wise beyond their years (the same can be said about Jupiter dominant individuals), as they likely had to mature at a young age. These people understand the value of hard-work and discipline, as nothing in their lives has been handed to them.

Venus conjunct mercury in the 2nd or 3rd house can manifest as a person who is a very good singer. This conjunction in the 5th house can also point to some kind of musical/artistic talent.

One of my favorite aspects in synastry/composite chart is Venus trine Chiron! This aspect usually manifest as a type of “healing through love”. Both partners can experience significant healing when it comes to how they view and approach relationships.

Saturn in the 3rd house is such a common placement in the charts of people who don’t drive, or got their drivers license later than most people.

Chiron in the 3rd house can manifest as having a speech impediment. Alternatively, this aspect also can manifest a learning difficulties in adolescence.

An Aries rising in a composite chart, or mars conjunct the ascendant can manifest as a couple whose conflicts are always obvious to others. This could be the couple who quite literally argue in public, or they may find that people always seem to know when they are on bad terms!

Having the 8th degree over your second house cusp, can manifest in a similar way to having Pluto in the 2nd. I’ve noticed these people have often been exposed to extreme situations regarding their finances during their lives. This could also be the person who goes from being extremely insecure, and having a low sense of self-worth to being very confident and secure in themselves.

Venus square Neptune in a natal chart has always been very interesting to me. Most people would describe it as someone who had the propensity to become delusional in love, or romantically deceptive. However, I’ve found that these people often give other people the benefit of the doubt, to their own detriment. Individuals with this placement, often want to see the best in people (both romantically and platonically), and thus they frequently find themselves drawn to people who need help in some way. There could be a person who is widely known as “bad news”, but an individual with Venus square Neptune in their charts is likely to still give them a chance, or go against their better judgement. This aspect gives people a tremendous amount of compassion, but it can also put someone in really unfavorable associations.

If you have Venus square Neptune in synastry with someone (2 degrees or less), you may find yourself drinking, smoking, or ‘partying’ a lot with this person. Neptune represents illusions, escapism, and it is often linked to addictions/mind altering substances. Alternatively, you may find that this is the setting in which you two met! At a party, or whilst you were doing something that can be described as “Neptunian”. It can also be that you met near water! At the beach, by a lake etc… I’ve actually seen this happen on very many occasions.

If you have the ruler of your 7th house placed in your 11th, you are likely to meet long-term partners through friends, social media, or anything that involves philanthropy/humanitarianism. Your long-term partner may actually be someone you were friends with for a long time, or perhaps you meet them through mutual friends. A project that involves “large groups” of people can also be how you meet your long-term partner.

I personally attract 8th house Synastry to me, like a moth to a flame. Nevertheless, I prefer it to 12th house synastry, as I’m never on the same page as the people I have 12th house synastry with. But anyway, something I just recently came to realize; is there’s a huge difference in terms of how I felt when it comes to Venus in 8th house synastry, and Mars in the 8th house synastry. When it came to having someone’s Venus in my 8th house, I genuinely felt that they were attracted to me and found me beautiful (even if there were no major aspects between their personal planets and my Ascendant). However, when someone’s Mars fell in my 8th house, I felt as if it was more of a sexual attraction and lust! I didn’t necessarily feel like they found me attractive beyond a sexual infatuation. Of course you may have a completely different experience if someone has their mars in your 8th, AND their Venus making a conjunction to your Ascendant. But I feel as if 8H Mars synastry has the propensity to feel very superficial or “icky” for lack of a better word, if it is not supported by other aspects that indicate a genuine attraction.

Venus square Mars in synastry can manifest as a “one night stand”. This aspect is actually common in the synastry between people who are having affairs. If this aspect is not supported by positive Saturn aspects, it can indicate a very steamy but very brief romance.

Uranus in the 7th house of a composite chart, can point to an “on-again-off again” relationship.

If you have the asteroid “Nessus” in the 11th house, you may find that you attract ‘friends’ who harbor deep resentments towards you. Any type of malefic in the 11th house makes maintaining and and attracting genuine friendships quite difficult.

Transit Pluto squaring, opposing, or making a conjunction to your natal Venus, can indicate a time in which you are attracting intense and transformative relationship experiences. You may consider yourself to be quite laid back and non-reactive. However, when these transits occur you may find yourself feeling things more deeply. Jealousy, possessiveness, obsession, and power struggles are all characteristic of these transits. Sometimes, you may actually attract people (especially lovers) who have disting scorpionic/plutonic characteristics. You may find yourself acting in ways that are uncharacteristic of your true nature.

Mars dominant women may find that they have a lot of male friends, or perhaps they resonate with energies that are more “masculine”.

Ceres aspects in synastry, can show how we nurture the other, and how they nurture us. If you have aspects between ceres & mercury, that can indicate a great deal of mental and intellectual nurturing between two people. If your ceres aspects another persons ascendant, you may feel the need to nurture them physically, or literally protect them. When it comes to this synastry, trines and sextiles are preferred! The hard aspects can actually indicate a lack of nurturing between two people.

Something so interesting I’ve observed with Neptune conjunct the composite Ascendant is that the couple tend to be very forgiving of one another. However, there can be the inclination to engage in excessive drinking, gambling, or drug use together (if there are no mitigating factors).

It is not uncommon to begin dating someone new when your solar return Sun & Venus are in the Solar Return 5th house. Ideally, you want to have both to increase the chances. You want to look at the 7th house for a more long-term connection. However, it is possible for a relationship that begins in a 5th house centered solar return year to progress if there are aspects made to Saturn!

A “9th house heavy” solar return almost always indicates that a significant form of study or trip will present itself during that year. Some people may decide to enroll in college for the first time or others may even return to college in such a year. Alternatively, this could be a year in which your religious, political, or philosophical beliefs are highlighted.

It’s not uncommon to see individuals who have their Midheaven in Virgo, or the ruler of their Midheaven in the 6th house end up working in the health & wellness industries. These people can be drawn to personal training, nutrition or the healthcare industry.

If you have the ruler of your 7th house in the 9th. You may find that you have the tendency to attract long distance relationships or foreign partners.

Chiron or Neptune transiting the 6th or 10th houses are two planets I often see activated when a person is having trouble in their vocational sphere. Job losses or disillusionment pertaining to one’s career can often emerge during these transits.

Secondary Progressions are such an underrated predictive technique! You want to look out for when your progressed planets change signs, when the progressed moon enters a new house, or when there’s a progressed new or full moon! This is because these all often coincide with significant life events, this is especially true when it comes to the occurrence of a progressed new moon!

In synastry, when someone’s Mars falls into your 10th house they can motivate you to achieve your career goals and ambitions. However, if Mars is harshly aspected, this person can have a negative impact on your reputation, career, and the pursuit of your worldly ambitions.

You can expect to see a significant amount of advancement or abundance in your career in a year where your solar return Saturn or Jupiter trines the solar return midheaven!

Interestingly, you may experience sudden weight gain or weight loss when your Solar Return Uranus makes a conjunction to your Solar Return Ascendant! Alternatively, this could just mean that you decide to make an unexpected change to your physical appearance! This can be getting a new hairstyle or changing your wardrobe!

If you have your part of fortune in the 3rd or the 11th house you may find success with an online blog, sales, or anything involving the use of technology & social media!

Those with the ruler of their Midheaven in the 4th or part of fortune in the 4th can be drawn to real estate. This placement (ruler of midheaven in the 4th) can also indicate working from home or working in a family business.

Neptune conjunct the descendent is common to see in the charts of people who get married more than once in their lifetime!

If you have the ruler of your 9th house in the 9th, you may decide to pursue higher education/college abroad!

Eclipses in Astrology 🪐

This is a very different post to what I usually upload. However, since we are approaching eclipse season I’d thought I’d share a post I had written on my Patreon some time ago!

Eclipses often get a bad rep, this is because the energy that surrounds them is so unpredictable. However, they serve as catalysts to enormous change in our lives. This is especially true if an eclipse is occurring on an angle, or if it’s closely aspecting one of your personal planets. The eclipses that will be occurring over the next year are in Taurus and Scorpio (keep in mind I wrote this before the eclipses in May)Thus, matters relating to transformation, money, wealth, comfort, sex, & rebirth will all be at the forefront.

To see how this eclipse will affect you personally, you need to look to the houses in your chart where you have Taurus and Scorpio. These are the areas of life in which you are likely to see significant change/transformation over the next year and a half.

Solar Eclipses are supercharged New Moons. Whereas, Lunar Eclipses can be described as super charged Full Moons. As mentioned before, people who have fixed rising signs, and personal planets in Taurus & Scorpio will be the most affected by these eclipses.

People who have fixed rising signs, will have these eclipses happening at an angle. This means that the eclipses will occur in their 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th houses. Transits to the angles are arguably the most potent/important in astrology. As these houses often deal with major life themes/situations.

1st house: If you have an eclipse (solar or lunar) in your 1st house, get ready for some major life changes. Your physical appearance and personality is likely to go through a major transformation. The way in which you relate to the people around you is also likely to change drastically. Interestingly, I’ve seen people who have eclipses in the 1st house move or relocate suddenly! This is because this eclipse is likely to be squaring your 4th house (IC).

2nd house: if you have eclipses in the 2nd house expect to see changes in your financial situation and/or self-worth. These changes may be positive or negative, depending on your other transits and the aspects this eclipse is making to your other placements. Finances and your ability to generate your own income will be at the forefront. You may experience a sudden increase or decrease in money over the next year and a half. Sudden changes in your self-worth may occur too.

3rd House: Eclipses to your third house, highlight issues surrounding communication, learning, siblings, cousins, neighbors and short distance travels. Vehicles may also come into focus at this time. You may get your first car, or let go of an old one. Alternatively, you may begin studying something new, or mend a broken relationship with a cousin or sibling. You will likely be expanding your skill set or you may feel stagnant and blocked in this area. It is also possible that you may have issues with your siblings or cousins at this time. Problems with learning and education may also occur. Alternatively, you may start learning a new skill or language. You may even start taking more short trips, or see an increase of activity in your daily life.

4th House: Eclipses to your fourth house put the focus on home and family. Many times this can represent a move or an addition in the family. At times it May also suggest a transition in the family. You may be renovating or spending more time with family. You may be learning about your roots or culture. Expect to see significant changes in the life of your maternal figure under this transit. You may also notice profound changes in your emotional nature. This is a life changing eclipse!

5th House: Prepare to see positive changes in your creativity. You may even pick up new hobbies or refine an existing one. Your dating life may also come into focus at this time. You may let go of old hobbies or passions that no longer serve you. Alternatively , you may let go of old lovers who no longer serve you. If you are hoping to have a child, this may be the time that this occurs. If you already have children, this could be a major time in their lives. One things for sure, creativity , hobbies and children will come in to focus for you over the next year and a half.

6th house: Your physical health, daily routine, diet and job will come into focus. You may start a new job or wellness regimen. You may lose a lot of weight or make significant changes to your physical health. You may leave an existing job. Your physical health and mental health (it will oppose the 12H) will be a major theme for you over the next year and a half. You may see a remarkable increase or decrease in your physical health or your productivity in general.

7th House: Relationships and close partnerships will be at the forefront. You may meet a new long-term partner, or even get married to an existing one. Alternatively, you may leave a long-term romantic relationship or business partnerships. You may meet a new business partner or take things to the next level with an existing romantic partner. Since this is also the house of open enemies, you may see an increase in opposition. Only your strongest unions will survive this transit, as you are likely to be examining your intimate relationships very closely. Since this is happening on an angle, this is a life changing transit/eclipse. It is likely to be a very memorable time in your life.

8th House: The way in which you view death, sex, shared resources and transformation will change drastically. You may be exposed to any of these themes over the next year and a half. I associate eclipses to the 8th and the 12th houses with a ‘spiritual awakening’ as you will often be put in situations that will test your strength and character. However, you may experience an increase in sexual intimacy/sexual activity, or you may even receive and inheritance or a large some of money. A great deal of transformation is in store for you!

9th House: You may suddenly start traveling more or this may be the time in which you go off to college. You may even graduate from college at this time or leave your country of residence to live in another country. Your religious views may change drastically, you may adopt a new religion or philosophical belief. You may even change your political views. A lot of your personal opinions on education, traveling and religion is likely to change.

10th House: This is also a life changing Eclipse for you. You may start a new career or strengthen an existing one. Alternatively, you may decide to leave a career you’ve been working in for years. Expect to see changes in the life of a significant paternal figure. Changes to your reputation and worldly status, are also likely to occur. An example, you may have been known as Ms. but if you get married the world now knows you as Mrs. Another example, is a student finishing med school during this eclipse and they are officially referred to as Dr. From now on. Major changes in your career/reputation and worldly status will occur,

11th House: Prepare to re-evaluate all of your friendships and ambitions. You will likely lose existing friends at this time, in favor of new friends who align with your purpose and path more. Old friendships may disappear. New friendships may suddenly occur. You may join new communities/social networks. It is possible that you may begin an endeavor on social media or any philanthropic activities. Your dreams, goals and aspirations in life will come in to focus. You may start focusing on one of your biggest dreams or start pursing something you’ve always wanted to do. Your involvement in group activities will also likely grow.

12th House: Everything that you’ve ever repressed mentally will resurface at this time. Any mental health issue you may have may be worsened or made better during this time. This is not meant to be a scary transit. It’s a time I’m which you will need to purge all that has been holding you back psychologically. As mentioned before, you may feel as if this is a ‘dark night of the soul. However, you will become a mentally stronger person after the eclipses in the 12th house, as they force you to deal with any hidden issues you may have.

Eclipses to PERSONAL Planets: (Conjunctions specifically)

The Sun: Your identity and Ego will undergo a major transformation. You interests and tastes will likely change drastically. There may be significant changes in the way in which you relate to men, or prominent male figures in your life. New life beginnings can also be associated with an eclipse to the sun.

The Moon: Your emotional self is likely to change drastically. You may also see changes in the way in which you relate to women, or the mother figure in your life. If you are hoping to have a child, you may see an increase in your fertility at this time. The way in which you project your emotions will change drastically as a result of this eclipse.

Mercury: Your Mental processing is likely to change significantly. So will the relationships you have with your siblings or cousins. You may find yourself getting mentally stronger, or find that they are negative thinking patterns beginning to resurface. Your way of thinking, and processing information will change drastically as a result of this eclipse. Your life may also start to become busier during this time!

Venus: You may undergo a physical transformation. You may even see an increase in your finances or a change in your financial situation. There may be developments in your love life, or you may decide to leave a relationship that no longer serves you. Your values , aesthetic sense and relationship status will likely change over the next year and a half.

Mars: Eclipses to your natal mars often impact your drive and ambition. You may see an increase or decrease in your motivation, and ability to get things done. You may experience and increase in sexual activity or a decrease. You may begin a fitness regimen or stray from your current one. Be careful, as conflicts with others are very common when a lunar eclipse specifically, occurs on your natal mars! You may also be prone to aggression or just an increase in your energy levels at this time!

lastly, eclipses to your ascendant are the same as eclipses to your 1st house. However, if they make an especially close conjunction to your ascendant, you may have a significant physical transformation. You are also likely to begin a significant stage in your life, this can be relocation, getting married, starting college, moving out etc! The way in which other people perceive you will also likely change, and you should expect to see significant changes in your personality.

Synastry & Composite Chart Observations

An Aquarius rising in a composite chart can show a couple who go against societal norms and expectations. They can seem like an “odd-pairing” or perhaps there is something unconventional or eccentric about how they appear to the world. Unless Venus or Mars is conjunct the composite ascendant they can seem like friends or a couple who has built a relationship that is strongly based on friendship. Interestingly, couples who have Aquarius on the descendent tend to be more open to long-distance or any other relationship patterns that are considered unconventional (an open relationship as an example).

A Sagittarius rising in a composite chart can indicate that the pair will travel together or learn a lot just by being together. They tend to expand each other’s world views and belief systems. Expansion, knowledge, and exploration are key themes here.

Mercury square Neptune in a composite chart can point to certain misunderstandings or miscommunications in a relationship. It is important for both people to be open and transparent to avoid intentional or unintentional deceit.

Couples with Saturn in the 5th house of their composite chart may have trouble expressing affection towards each other unless there are other mitigating factors. Feelings of ‘fun’ and ‘pleasure’ in the relationship can be stifled with this placement, unless the couple are actively working towards incorporating frequent date nights, vacations, and creative hobbies into their relationship. Some couples with this placement choose not to have kids or have very few.

Many married couples either have a composite Libra rising or have their Sun, Moon, or Venus in the composite 7th house. Saturn on an angle in a composite chart tends to be present in long-term relationship composite charts.

Uranus in the 8th house of a composite chart can indicate financial uncertainty or instability in a relationship. As a couple, they can handle their shared resources and taxes in a manner that can be seen as “haphazard” by some. Their investments as a couple can also undergo many unexpected changes.

When someone’s Moon falls into your 4th house, you may find yourself telling them about your childhood, family life or just very personal/intimate things about yourself. When someone’s Moon is in your 12th house this can also happen. However, you may not always feel very comfortable with how vulnerable you feel around the Moon person (as the 12th house person). It’s almost as if they can see right through you with this overlay. It must be said that the Moon person can at times find the 12th house person to be emotionally elusive (even if the 12th house person feels as if the moon person intuitively understands them).

Composite charts with Venus or the ruler of the composite ascendant in the 12th house often indicates that the relationship is very private or has to be kept hidden for some reason. The composite Sun in the 12th house can also indicate a relationship that is not very public.

When someone’s Venus falls into to 8th house in synastry, they completely transform the way you view or even handle matters related to love, values, and finances. Relationships that are 8th house heavy can be difficult to let go of or forget but they often trigger major personal transformations.

If I were to assign a planet to ‘situationships’ I would definitely assign Neptune. Composite charts that are highly aspected by Neptune or have Neptune closely conjunct the Ascendant, descendent, or midheaven can indicate that the relationship is not always clearly defined or perhaps the two are not always on the same page regarding where the relationship is heading. I read a composite chart for a married couple with Neptune in the 10th house. For them, this just meant that they both had to make career sacrifices to make their relationship work at some point in their marriage. However, I’ve also read a composite chart where Neptune was exactly conjunct the descendent. In this case, the relationship was undefined as one partner refused to commit fully. Although Neptune can create feeling of confusion, it can also show you where the couple can each other immense compassion, selflessness, and grace.

Composite Chart Notes 2🤍

Saturn in the 4th house of a composite chart is common to see in the charts of couples who live together/own homes together. As they are essentially “bound” by the responsibility of a home. However, I want to say that this is not always the case, as some couples with a 4th house composite Saturn can find that their respective families disapprove of their relationship or perhaps there are obstacles that are in place that prevent them from even having the opportunity to live together.

Couples with the ruler of the composite ascendant in the 5th house may have children together, or perhaps they enjoy engaging in many of the same hobbies together.

Something so interesting that I’ve noticed is that couples who are very “spiritual” or “religious” tend to have Neptune or Jupiter conjunct the composite ascendant! (This may also apply to a couple that has a composite Pisces or Sag rising).

Couples with a composite stellium in the 11th house can often have many of the same friends. Alternatively, an 11th house composite stellium can also indicate that the couple are inclined to participate in community work or philanthropic projects together! Another manifestation is that this can be the couple that enjoys posting about their relationship on social media! Examples are youtube couples or those who post frequent pictures together on Instagram!

Couples with a Composite Virgo Midheaven may find that people have the tendency to criticize or ‘nitpick’ their relationship. Hailey and Justin Bieber are a celebrity example. However, they also have their composite Chiron in the 10th house, Lilith in the composite 7th, and Mars conjunct their composite ascendant! (These can account for some of the opposition they receive in the public eye).

Couples with placements in the composite 10th and composite 7th houses may decide to do business together! This is especially true if it is the composite Venus, Saturn, or Jupiter in these houses.

I have definitely said this before in one of my older posts but a composite Venus square Saturn (at a 1 degree orb or less) can often be present in relationships that don’t quite “get off the ground”. There can be obstacles like distance, financial difficulties, and age that prevent these two from coming together in the first place! However, I have seen about two couples with this placement stay together for a while after they were able to overcome the initial hurdles!

The ruler of the composite 4th house in the 9th house can indicate that the couple may decide to relocate abroad together!

Venus trine Saturn in the composite chart is a wonderful aspect to have for longevity! This or the ruler of the composite ascendant making a trine, sextile or conjunction to Saturn!

If you and your partner have a well aspected composite 10th house Mars, the two of you can really motivate each other to achieve your individual worldly ambitions, and the goals you share as a couple!

Couples with the Moon conjunct the composite Ascendant, can find that the emotional nature of their relationship is often noticeable to others outside of their relationship. For example, if the composite Moon (that is conjunct the ascendant) makes a square to Pluto, other people can perceive the pair to have an emotionally volatile relationship. However, let’s say the composite Moon makes a trine to Neptune, others can think that the pair have a very graceful, nurturing, gentle, and forgiving emotional connection! Lastly, how people perceive the couple is likely to fluctuate quite often with a composite Moon conjunct the Ascendant.

Sun in partners 1st house

This is a great overlay in most relationships, as it suggests that there is a common sense of understanding and resonance between the two. The Sun persons ego and identity are in sync with the House persons personality and outward persona. These two can become fast friends, and feel as if they have a lot in common. The Sun person can be drawn to the Ascendant persons physical appearance, and the manner in which they carry themselves. Despite this, you can often feel a very strong ‘pull’ towards someone who has their Sun in your 7th house. Some astrologers assert that 7th house overlays can lead to co-dependency but I think it depends on the individuals involved.

This can be an intense but highly transformative overlay. The Sun person often triggers a great deal of transformation within the house person (even if they are unaware of this). The Sun person can illuminate or bring attention to issues that are related to death, transformation, shared resources, taxes, and psychology, in the house persons life. In a romantic relationship, this can cause a great deal of sexual attraction. However, I would also look for 8th house overlays of Mars, Venus, and the Ascendant when it comes to sexual attraction that involves the 8th house. Furthermore, 8th house overlays are rarely ‘easy’ as they often evoke extreme feelings, reactions, and emotions. However, they can be deeply intimate and binding. It can be hard for the 8th house person to let the Sun person go. These two can connect on an exceptionally intimate level (both emotionally and physically). One person may even introduce the other to matters/mediums that are related to the occult or healing.

The house person tends to learn a lot from the Sun person with this overlay. They may even idealize them or place them on a pedestal at times. The house persons belief systems and worldly views may change or solidify when they are around the Sun person. This is a very expansive overlay. Topics related to higher education, foreign travel, philosophy, and politics can frequently emerge. Adventure, exploration, education, and travel are key themes here. The Sun person can stimulate the house persons desire for travel and expansion. The world is their oyster. They tend to expand each other’s worldviews and challenge each other’s deeply held beliefs. They can spend a lot of time discussing religion, politics, foreign affairs etc.. (especially if this is accompanied by a 9th house Mercury overlay).

This is often a good overlay if two people want to do business together. However, in a romantic context, the Sun person can motivate the house person to achieve all of their career goals and aspirations. In some cases, the Sun person can often show a lot of interest in the house persons career, status, and reputation. The Sun person may even take pride in being associated with the house person. There can be a great deal of admiration and/or respect generated with this overlay. At times, this overlay can have a superficial quality to it, as one or both people may be more concerned about how the other person enhances their reputation or status. However, if both people are exceptionally career or goal-oriented, this can be an overlay that brings them even closer.

The 11th house is the house of gains, networks, friendships, worldly aspirations, and communities. With this overlay, a friendship can form between the two people. 11th house overlays tend to produce dynamics in which two people are very tolerant and accepting of each other. These two may eventually integrate their social circles or introduce each other to their respective friends. In some cases, the desire to participate in humanitarian work together can emerge. Although 11th house overlays are not seen as traditionally ‘romantic overlays’ , I actually have observed that they are often present in many long-term relationships (same with 9th house overlays), as the relationship is primarily built on a sense of mutual friendship and camaraderie. Both people are inclined to be tolerant of each other’s quirks and eccentricities with this overlay. The Sun person can introduce the house person to influential groups or networks .

12th house overlays are always very interesting in synastry. Their most positive manifestations can denote a highly spiritual, forgiving, and compassionate bond between two people. However if the planet receives many difficult aspects , there may be elements of mistrust, illusions, confusion or even deception. When someone’s Sun falls into another persons 12th house, they can make the house person aware of their personal “blind spots”. One or both people may have to make some personal sacrifices to make the relationship work. In some cases, the Sun person can serve as a spiritual mentor to the house person. Individuals who are very spiritual often remark how 12th house synastry (or a significant transit to the 12th house) triggered their spiritual awakening. Moreover, there can be elements of fantasy or illusion that accompany 12th house overlays. You don’t always see people who have planets in your 12th house clearly. However, you can feel a very deep and ‘otherworldly’ connection to them. If both people are willing to do the work and have made piece with their shadow-sides, 12th house overlays can be incredibly intimate and spiritually healing.

In one of my older posts I remember saying that couples who have their Composite Mars making a conjunction to their Composite Ascendant can come across as being quarrelsome, as their arguments are often made public. However, I have also found that couples who have Mars conjunct the Composite Midheaven, can also come across as being argumentative ( with each other and with other people). This is most likely because Mars conjuncting the MC would in most cases square the Composite Ascendant.

People with Jupiter in the 8th or Part of Fortune in the 8th house in their natal chart can often find success when trading or investing!

When your Solar Return Mercury makes a conjunction to the Solar Return Midheaven, you may have to travel for work. I have also found this to be true when you have the ruler of the solar return midheaven placed in the 9th house. I want to emphasize that placements can play out many different ways this is just one of the ways I have seen these two placements manifest.

An afflicted Saturn in the 3rd house of a composite chart can often indicate communication problems within a relationship. There can be verbal misunderstandings, silent treatments, or just differences in communication styles as a result of this placement. However, it is always important to remember that a single placement cannot derail an entire relationship, you will need to look at both the composite and Synastry charts holistically.

A Solar Return year in which you have the ruler of your Solar Return 4th house in the 9th, can be the year where you move or relocate abroad.
