Let’s face it...2020 has been rough for most of us. Our lives were turned upside down in literally just a few weeks and we are all still sorting through the rubble as we navigate our way out. Let’s talk about self care. No, I’m not talking about cutting your finger nails or brushing your hair. I’m talking about true investment in your soul and well-being. Sometimes we need to step back and take a look at what we are missing. I think every area of our being suffers when we lose our center. We suffer emotionally, spiritually, physically, and mentally. We are just drained. So let’s do this, friends. Invest in yourself. So much of this time in quarantine, especially if you are a mom a little ones, has been caring for others or looking after the well-being of those around you. There’s something about the cooler crisp mornings and the beautiful trees bursting with color that makes me want to look inward each year. Even in the height of my wedding season and when things are so busy around here, I begin forecasting for the next calendar year. I’ve spent some time deep in thought this week and it’s made me realize a few things about myself and my business. 1. I truly love what I do and I am constantly trying to educate myself and morph my business in to what it is meant to be. 2. I truly care about you. No really I mean it. This year has taught me that my business of so much more than a design studio. It’s been a shoulder to cry on for concerned clients. It’s been a voice of constant during a dry season for so many vendors friends. And it’s be a bright spot in so many homes as we began to offer custom gifting and daily deliveries. . My heart has changed friends. No...actually... it’s just been uncovered. How special is it that I get to see real love happen each week? I get a first hand seat to the beginning of couple’s Forever. I watch them gaze in to each other’s eyes as they pledge their love for one another. I watch as supportive family looks on with tears streaming down their face. I watch as they claps hands walking down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife. Pretty little details really make a wedding special. 💛 . When coming up with a design plan for any event, I always see the room in my head. I visualize all the nooks and crannies and any place where we can put a touch of floral or decor to create a soft touch. This sweet little bud vase flanked a larger table piece to add a flourish of blooms down the length of the table.
