there is something hilarious about getting to the end of the nanny affair having taken 0 romantic choices. they kissed once, when Sam gave me no choice at the charity gala, and yet every line of dialogue assumes we are having an active sexual affair.

Idk, but Sam making such a public display of affection toward MC when surrounded by press after MC potentially broke up with them feels less like romantic devotion and more like peer pressuring her into looking bad if she says no. Of course, saying no wasn’t an option in the story, but let’s be real, it wouldn’t have been much of an option even if MC had wanted to say no.
