I usually pay 1000% attention to his movies, but watching this for the second time felt like a fever dream? It was much sadder this time knowing how it ends. Completely biased, but the BIG BLUE EYES got me. I cried a lot? Very good movie overall. Loved the twist at the end, but the actual end was so sad. Needed more Sebastian for it to be one of his top tier movies, but he really did steal the show for me.

This movie was surprisingly well acted, funny, and had great songs (including the title track which is a remake). Shahid and Kriti had great chemistry and their little flirting reminded me of those typical wedding movies and songs like Sajan Tumse. The only thing holding it back was the actual PLOT. WHAT? What was the reason?? Instead of making it a twist at the end, Shahid is just willing to go along with it. It's HER without the brutal honesty and ending, so it's just as weird as the entirety of HER. Also, instead of internalized misogyny there is straight up and outlandish misogyny. Janhvi was a pleasant surprise and I really do think she's one of my fav Bollywood actresses. Just when the writers gave themselves a chance at redemption with Janhvi, they said NAH! Let's try to make this a sequel with a love triangle. Ridiculous 😂 I'd never recommend it because everyone would judge me, like I judge myself for having a fun/weird watch
