Dear god this took much longer than i expected 😭

But like I said I was gonna do, here’s some more drawings of Jamie+ some visuals of scenes from certain chapters! Please bare with my art skills, I’m constantly trying to progress in my art skills and trying to find a style that’s comfortable for me :]

Okay so…

I’d like to take a moment to say I’m sorry for the lack of a chapter for February and possibly March😔 recently I’ve been swamped with homework and I usually get into this intense headspace of “if I don’t complete/study this first then I’m going to fail this class” which is a nightmare by itself.

On top of that, I’ve recently lost a close family member and Im in that weird stage of not actually processing their death yet. Fun.

But I promise I have been writing new chapters for Bullies! It’s just a lil slow rn as I’m trying to get my head organized (which is nearly impossible) and just trying to sort out what I want to happen between who and what and if I want to split this next chapter into two parts or just one big chapter.

Thought Jamie could possibly be a good friend to his younger brothers since their close in age. Found it funny how flustered Jamie was when he opened the door.

Wingding:

He absolutely despises humans. Especially mages. It wouldn’t matter if Jamie was a normal, non-magical human that was nothing but kind towards him. He’d still hate her and the human race with a passion.

W.D.:

Didn’t have the chance to meet her personally. But he’s the complete opposite of Wingding. He actually loves the human race. Finds all the different cultures and ways of life fascinating and loves to learn about them.

Hi there! I found your story (Bully on ao3) and it utterly AMAZING! I love the interactions of each and every skeleton you create with Jamie! I appreciate the pace you've got going on and darker themes you explore (although makes me clench my heart) are well thought out that everytime I read another chapter (yeah I binge read ya fic, it was that good bruh!) the sense of danger and having to be cautious lingered with every word! I'm literally on the edge of my seat with every new chapter! ❤❤❤

Even though Slim is a lil asshat to Jamie, he's one of my favorite AU’s and I can't help but still love him 😔 (but if I met someone like him irl.. Someone better call an ambulance for him 🖐️🙄) It also makes me so relieved to hear that people love Jamie's character design and personality. I just really wanted to create a character who was strong physically and personality-wise and was comfortable in their own skin.

Ahh...what would the skeleton think if they were getting beat up in front of the whole school and Jamie came to their rescue?

This may get a little long lol 😅 may have gone a bit overboard with this...

Sans would be flabbergasted. Worried. And slightly attracted as he watched as Jamie beat the hell out of a monster that was twice her size with nothing but a metal folding chair. Normally no one would dare challenge Sans since he was a boss monster. But every now and then, a student would rise to take his superiority as the strongest. Usually Sans could handle a challenger with ease. But today just wasn’t his day. Whether the student took him by surprise, or if Sans was already weakened, he just didn’t have enough stamina to keep up with said student. Just before the challenger could land a potentially leather attack on the skeleton, a metal chair was thrown from the crowd and struck the challenger in the face. Giving Sans the opportunity to breath. Imagine his surprise when he realized it was Jamie who had thrown that chair. Boldly standing out from the crowd and into the fighting circle before whooping the kid's ass with nothing but a chair and her fists. He’d then take her to the nurse's office while standing awkwardly off to the side as Jamie got any cuts or scratches patched up.

Papyrus wasn’t any stranger to the usual passive-aggressive remarks or foul gestures. But to be pulled into a physical altercation with another student? Almost unheard of thanks to Sans being his brother. But on the rare instances of a student actually wanting to fight the tall friendly skeleton, Papyrus refuses to willingly harm another student. He’d try to talk the situation out, try to find out what he did to cause such anger in another student. But when talking it out didn’t work, he’d try his best to dodge attacks. Papyrus watched as the angered student rear back their hand to layout a punch, and Papyrus readied himself for the pain to come. When he didn't feel anything hit him, he opened his eyes and nearly jumped when Jamie stood in between him and the student with a bloodied nose. Before Papyrus could say anything to her, she pushed him out of the fighting ring and out into the crowd where he watched in horror as his friend fought for him. Multiple times he tried to grab her arm to pull her out of harm's way. But each time he thought he had a good grip on her, she’d somehow slip out of his reach and pummel the challenging student. After the fight, whether Jamie won or not, Papyrus is criticizing her for her reckless behavior as he healed her. When asked why she’d risk her safety to keep him safe, her response of “because you’re my friend and special to me.” would have him teary-eyed. In a way, he was happy she would protect him from others. But he felt ashamed for being in that situation in the first place. His friend was hurt because of him! Jamie would end up being pulled into his lap and hugging him and comforting him. Afterward, his eyes would always brighten up when seeing Jamie.

Blue would also be another monster who’d rarely be pulled into an altercation with another student. He's well-liked by all! Who could want to fight the happy-go-lucky skeleton? Any challenger would probably be a classmate from Blues and Jamie's weightlifting class. Possibly just mad because Blue could lift more than them. If the fight occurred during weightlifting and Coach Roxo wasn't around, Blue would try and talk it out. Especially since Jamie is nearby and possibly watching. But in all honesty, Blue enjoyed fighting. It was a stress relief for him and usually, he and one of the skeleton brothers would spar to relieve built-up magic tension. When the aggressive classmate gets too close for comfort to Blue, Jamie immediately stands beside her friend. Acting as a guard of some sort. While she may not be as strong as some of the other weight lifters, she has confidence in protecting Blue from one person. Blue takes notice of the protective stance from her and feels his soul swell. If things get more physical, Blue tries his best to keep things calm. But if the student throws a punch, Blue doesn't even get a chance to process it before Jamie is already on their ass. For a moment, he just watches as her face turns a lovely shade of red as she gets angrier. Would he act upset over the fact a student raised their voice at him? Absolutely. Big ole blue eyes that wobble with false tears will make Jamie even more aggressive towards the offending student. Once Coach Roxo returns and sees the current predicament, he would take the offending student out of class and to the headmaster.

Stretch got into the usual fight every now and then. Usually just because a boyfriend of an old fling would try to intimidate him to stay away from their girlfriends. Most of the time it was nothing but threatening words and a small shove. But in a school full of delinquents of varying degrees, he just happened to get the one that was willing to fight Stretch because of old history between him and his girlfriend. The fight happens during lunch in the boy's bathroom. Jamie just happened to walk into the bathroom to wash her hands when she saw the thick crowd of male students covering the walkway to the sinks. For a moment, she was about to just walk out of there. But once she saw the head of the tall skeleton dodging a punch from the jealous boyfriend, she just had to act. Stretch didn't notice Jamie's frame moving along the crowd until he saw her right up in the front. For a second, he froze when her red eyes made contact with his black ones. That second was long enough for the boyfriend to successfully land a hard punch across Stretches face. The crowd whooped and cheered when Stretch was knocked down to his ass. Before he could attempt to get back up, he watched as Jamie ran and open-palm slapped the boyfriend with enough force that caused him to step back and lose his footing. As Stretch watched as Jamie proceeded to get the boyfriend who was an entire foot taller than her onto the floor with her foot in his back, the skeleton couldn't help but feel amazement and a little hot under the collar as Jamie held the jealous boyfriend in a chokehold with one of his arms bent painfully in her arm. She even got the boyfriend to apologize to Stretch! The crowd ended up leaving with mumbles as the loser awkwardly shuffled out of the bathroom with tears in his eyes. Stretch was embarrassed to admit how easily he was knocked off his feet. But then again.. Seeing how Jamie did a complete 180° and began to check over him made it kinda worth it.

Edge has his fair share of enemies at school. All the dwindling idiots that surrounded him made his already thin patience almost non-existent. He also had a habit of running his mouth when someone did something that was not up to his standards. Jamie just happens to be in close proximity of the outdoor garden when she hears Edge yelling at two students. From where she stood, she could see the two digging into the sectioned soil patches and spreading fertilizer across the top. Feeling curious, Jamie goes into the garden to observe what was going on. It seems that one of the students had enough of Edge’s ruthless complaints. As they chucked gallon bucket worth of fertilizer towards the edgy skeleton. It looked as if the fertilizer was about to hit Edge, but at the last second he easily stepped out of line. Sadly, Jamie was right behind him and ended up getting a face full of soil. Edge turned his back on the two students as he quickly began to wipe the dirt off of her face. Like Edge always does, he started to criticize her dodging technique. Jamie listened with his words going through one ear and out the other. But behind him, she saw a flash of gray moving towards them and without thinking, she pulled Edge off to the side just as a dull rusty shovel came down where he once stood. The force Jamie used to pull him out of harms way ended up causing Edge to fall on his bottom. It took him a second to process the way she easily moved him. But once his mind caught up, he realized that Jamie was playing a game of tug-of-war with the student who held the shovel. Her face etched with a creased brows and a hitched lip as she yanked the garden equipment out of the students hands and proceeded to beat the student with it. Edge noticed the second delinquent picking up a rake and was getting ready to hit Jamie with it. With a swipe of his fingers, the rake was yanked from the students grasp and bright red magic covered them as it forced them down to their knees. Just as Edge was about to do the same for the first delinquent, he watched with widened eyes as Jamie slammed the flat side of the shovel against their back. Causing the student to collapse flat on their stomach. Edge… didn’t know how to feel about Jamie’s help. He felt embarrassed that he had to rely on a humans help and how easily it was for her to move him. But he was also grateful for her. “YOU… FOUGHT OKAY FOR A HUMAN.” He finally settles on saying. Jamie stared at him for a second before softly smiling. “Thanks.” Maybe it was the way she said it, or her smile, but those small gestures were enough to make his chest warm with happiness. Afterwards, he ended up helping Jamie pick out the remaining chunks of fertilizer from her hair.

Similarly like Edge, Red also had a tendency to run his mouth when he was cocky about something. Having advanced skills in engineering, he was bound to have a few jealous admirers that didn’t want him to succeed. Jamie and Red were walking around campus when a sudden mob of greasers surrounded the two. They gave Jamie the chance to leave since she wasn’t their target. For a second, Red thought she was going to leave when she stepped away. But that thought was thrown into the trash when he watched as she pulled her backpack off and stood with her back towards him with a wide stance. Acting as a guard. With her back towards him, she missed the warm that spread across his teeth before conjuring two thick bone clubs. He tossed one to her and stepped with his own back against hers. The large crowd of greaser ended up causing passing by students to crowd around with their phones recording. In a total of five minutes, the two had beaten the last standing greaser unconscious. Both with reddened, sweaty faces, they picked up their belongings and ditched the area before security could catch them. Taking refuge in Reds workshop, Jamie was still trying to catch her breath as Red stared at her with a proud and awestruck expression. He was impressed that she held her own against all the greasers. He knew that if it had been just him, he would have a bit of trouble taking on so many at a single time.

No one in their sane mind would dare bother Axe. The most anyone would do was talking shit about his looks and how horrifying he was in comparison to the others. The one and only time anyone would dare their life to mess with Axe would be during Halloween. Cliques would dare each other to approach the giant skeleton and try to successfully throw an egg at him. Axe had grown use to this yearly tradition since freshman year. And every time like every other year, he’d just ignore them and take shelter in the abandoned observatory until the next day. But this year, it seems that he was a little too slow in reaching the building before the delinquents caught up to him. Axe didn’t flinch when he felt the crack of an egg shell against the back of his skull that was followed by the slick texture of yolk dripping off of him. He knew that the group was close since he could easily smell them from a mile away. He sighed heavily and kept walking. Ignoring the yells from the students who called him various slurs. A moment later, he felt another egg explode on his back while another whizzed by his arm. Barely missing him. At this point he just accepted the fact that his clothes were going to be soiled in egg yolks. But then, he smelt her. Jamie was nearby and going by the strength of her scent, she was coming up quickly. Without another thought, Axe turned towards her direction in hopes of seeing her. But instead of seeing Jamies form, he had turned right as an egg was being thrown and it ended up smashing into his face. He missed the opportunity to see Jamie since he was in the process of trying to clear his eye of egg yolk. But he heard Jamie yelling with a deep alto tone, followed by the sounds of pained yelps from the delinquents. Axe had just managed to swipe off the last bit of the slimy yolk off his eye when he saw her kicking one the lingering students in the ass as their buddies ran off in the distances. Axe could feel his chest buzzing with warmth when Jamie worriedly checks up on him. She noticed the glare of yolk left behind next to his socket and doesn’t even think as she uses her sleeve to gently wipe it off. The two ended up spending the entire night inside the observatory. Jamie would end up falling asleep and Axe would lay her head down in his lap. Using his jacket as a makeshift pillow as he told her about the stars while gently massaging her head.

Sweets was the one who was most susceptible to physically violence out of all the brothers. Many students knew that the shy, lanky skeleton would keep his mouth shut about the bullying. Since he has yet to report any alternations to the headmaster. In his mind, Sweets could handle and deal with the shoves and pushes and degrading language from his classmates. He knew that if he reached out to a teacher, things would probably only get worse since his bully’s would know it was him who snitched. He also didn’t want to make his brother or any of the other skeletons to worry about him, since many of them already pitted him for his physical disabilities. Usually he would hideaway in the library to avoid his bullies. Since none of them were interested in a room full of old books and dealing with the strict librarian. Sweets thought he was safe for the day once he sat down at one of the round tables with a stack of books he had been interested in readying. He was halfway through his first book when it was suddenly ripped from his claws. He felt his soul drop when his biggest and most physical bully stood across from him with a deranged grin. They stood before him while their lackeys were off to the side. Sweets tried to keep his face straight. But having been tormented for all his years at Bullworth by this one student; it made him feel as if he was looking into the eyes of a monster who was full of LV. He kept his eyes glued to the table as the delinquent yanked his glasses off of his face and got uncomfortably close to his face. By some pure luck, Jamie was in the library looking for a certain book for class when she noticed the frightened look of Sweets face. She didn’t need any explanation, because she grabbed a wooden ruler, and the thickest and biggest book she could find from the shelves . Sweets didn’t notice Jamie’s presence until his bully was laid out on the floor with an intimidating book next to them. Jamie had threw the novel straight into the bully’s ear, that it caused them to hear ringing. The delinquent didn’t have time to recover before she was beating them with her ruler. Sweets just watched in mild horror and fear as his bully yelped rather girlishly when a hard smack was landed on their face. All Sweets did was blink, and at one moment he was fearing for his life, and then in the next, he was watching as Jamie beat the student hard enough with the ruler that he could barely hear the wood beginning to snap apart. Don’t get him wrong, while he greatly appreciated Jamie’s involvement and getting his bully to leave him alone, Sweets was very much cautious of Jamie. Seeing such anger and ferocity coming from someone he thought was level-headed and calm made him wonder just how long she had kept that intensity bottled up.

Sure Black dealt with his own “jealous admirers” for his amazing sets of skills. But the thought of having such people despising him simply because he’s the best in everything, actually boosts his ego. Black was use to hearing the crude remarks from his classmates. Whether it was about the fact that he was apart of the cheerleading team, or that he’s only untouchable is because of his brother protecting him, he never allowed such words to bother him. He’s worked far too hard to be brought down by petty words. But the fact that he was now watching Jamie keeping a group of delinquent students of varying heights and sizes from him was mind boggling. The cheer team, football players, and band had all just came back to campus from a away-game. Black was one of the last cheerleaders to stay in the boys locker room. After every game, he’s would take his time at washing off and redressing for sleep. Just as he pulled his top on, he heard the door slam open with multiple sets of feet walking through the room. Immediately, he was on guard and ready to fight whoever had suddenly busted in. Felt a sense of unease once he seen how many delinquents walked in. Black tried calling Slims phone, but wasn’t surprised to end up being sent to voicemail. Jamie ends up walking into the same locker room with the intentions of taking a shower. But image her surprise when she sees Black getting ganged up on by multiple students. Unlike the others, Jamie actually hesitated on helping him. For a moment, it looked like he was able to hold his own just fine. But once she seen one of the delinquents grabbing ahold of his shirt collar and throwing him to the ground, she jumped into action without another thought. Before the delinquent had the chance to harm Black further, Jamie grabbed the back of their shirt and whipped them across the room. From there, the intensity grew as Jamie kept most of the students away from Black. At first, he’s stunned to see her willingly put herself in harms way. But then once he snaps out of his daze, he helps her defeat the last delinquent. Afterwards, he’s yelling at her for acting without thinking. Black checks Jamie for any cuts or scratches as he tries to decide just how he feels about the situation. He feels embarrassed that he had to rely on her help. But he’s also grateful for it as well. But does he show and tell Jamie that? Absolutely not.

Slim doesn’t even acknowledge Jamie’s help once the two escaped from an overwhelmingly large crowd of those he had wronged. Jamie didn’t even want to help Slim in the first place! He had actually pulled her into the fight as a distraction as he made his getaway. Causing her to get a black eye and body nose. Along with a collection of bruises and shoe prints. The two end up arguing that escalated into a screaming match. They get so into the fight that at one point, Slim was holding Jamie up to his face by her shirt as he snarled insults inches from her face. It ends up taking one of the skeleton brothers to step in before they killed each other. Slim never apologizes or acknowledges what had happened.

Sans wouldn’t really care. He’s seen Jamie and Nile walking around campus and the schools halls and they seem pretty happy together.

Papyrus is happy for his friend! But if Jamie and Nile got into a more secure and intimate relationship, he’d have to get onto them about PDA. Especially when they’d try to sneak kisses in between passing period. Likes seeing that Jamie is smiling a lot more.

Stretch is.. happy for them. He’s noticed the way Jamie’s eyes would wander over towards the Prep during chemistry, and would always get flustered when Nile would talk to her. Although he does have to put a little bit of distance between him and Jamie. Something about the way his soul tightens uncomfortably whenever he sees the two acting all lovey-dovey.

The same could be said for Blue. He’s (spoilers) always had a bit of an attraction towards Jamie since their first workout session. He keeps his usual pumped up attitude and smile.

Red likes to tease Jamie about hers and Niles relationship. Tries to get Jamie to spill the beans about what goes on between them. He also tells Jamie that she’s hit the jack box. “Don’t screw it up and you’ll be set fer life.”

Edge is even more rude and aggressive towards Jamie. He’s hurt and ashamed and embarrassed to be so weak for some human.

Axe observes their relationship. He feels a little disappointed, sure. But he knew he didn’t stand a chance at gaining Jamie’s affections.

As long as his and Jamie’s interactions doesn’t change, Sweets is happy for the two love birds.

Black is downright hurt. He tried so hard to earn her affections. He even looked up what humans looked for in partners so he’d the most perfect boyfriend for Jamie. He thought by keeping her secret and demonstrating his skills would’ve had her swooning for him! Is nothing but bitter and hostile towards her. He’d even try to set up ways to make it seem that Nile was cheating on Jamie just so they’d break up.

Slims finds the matchup interesting. Might use it against Jamie to keep her from getting cocky.

Heyyy...you probably not going to see this but, do you have any headcanons for the skeletons in your story(Bullies) or Jamie? (Fav food, fav thing to do, how they dress,ect.) Orrr they feelings on Jamie?

OKAY SO-

I’ll start with the star of Bullies- Jamie!:

Jamie constantly has to apply sunscreen whenever she goes outside. Or she risks getting turned into a tomato. Regularly applies lotion to cover the smell of sunscreen and to help with dry skin.

Jamie has a thing for “Bad Boys” (hence her crush on Red) but she also likes the “goodie-goodies”

Jamie loves weightlifting with a passion. Was introduced to it by her brother. Loves the burn and the sense of accomplishment when she reaches a new max and can see her hard work affecting her body.

She likes to dress comfortably. Band shirts, sweatpants, baggy jeans, untied shoes, the whole sha-bang. But every now and then she’ll have the desire to dress feminine.

From all of her fights (before and during Bullies) she’s only lost three times.

Her favorite school subject is science! Even though she’s not the best at it, shes genuinely interested in learning all the different elements.

She loves spicy and sour foods. Doesn’t care if it makes her cry or cause a runny nose, if it’s spicy- she’ll eat it with joy. But she utterly despises seafood. The texture, taste, even the thought of eating a sea creature makes her gag.

If she hadn’t met the skeleton brothers at Bullworth, she would’ve ran away by her second day.

Doesn’t see a point in decorating her dorm. “What’s the point? Its not like I’m gonna be here for long.”

Desperately wants to hate her mother for putting her through hell as she got older. But ends up remembering the good times. Which then causes Jamie to have a breakdown.

Hates being touched without warning. Slowly gets use to the brothers sudden touches or grabs. (Especially from Blue)

Speaking of Blue, Jamie once caught him pouring water over a pan of hot grease and watched as he gleefully jumped like a kid getting a new toy when the fire grew. It ended up triggering the fire alarms and everyone had to evacuate the boys dorms. But Blue had the biggest smile the entire time.

Doesn’t know anything about magic. If it weren’t for her gloves, the school campus would be a frozen wasteland.

Before Bullworth, Jamie loved going on late night drives with her brother since he’d always be the one to drive. Driving makes Jamie nervous.

The skeleboys headcanons:

Red loves reading romance and sci-fi books. He also secretly takes note of how the main character and love interest interacts so he could do the same for his partner. Sometimes when he get really into a book, he’ll giggle excitedly when a character would make a move towards their love interest. Would totally beat someone up to a pulp if they saw him.

Black and Edge are the two who develops crushes the quickest whenever their skills or hard work is noticed and praised.

Mostly all the boys have Destruction of Property on their backgrounds. Except for Papyrus.

So far Blue, Black, Slim, Money, Sans, and Papyrus know that Jamie is a girl.

He’d never admit it, but Slim actually thought Jamie was cute when she was dressed up as the grim reaper.

Sans feels guilty about harming Jamie. Wants to make it up to her, but knows that won’t be likely.

Even though he has perfect grades and is the student council vise president, Papyrus wishes he could let loose for a day. He’s tired of acting perfect. He wants to have fun!

Axe regularly leaves school campus at night without security noticing. Usually walks around the forest by the lake and skips rocks across the water.

Sweets looks forward to having class with Jamie. He finds her personality to be charming in contrast to the snooty attitudes of his classmates. And mixed with the fact that she doesn’t cower from his appearance.

Stretch is the type to care what people think about him. Although he acts like he doesn’t. He sees Jamie as a good friend and dorm mate. At first. Doesn’t know how to feel about the tightness in his chest when the two have a late night kitchen hang out. “He’s just.. easy to talk to. Yeah, that’s it.” He tries to convince himself.

Edge wants- and attempts to ask Jamie if she wants to help him in the garden. But it kinda just comes out as a passive aggressive question/insult. “ARE YOU DOING ANYTHING ELSE TODAY BESIDES SCREWING AROUND LIKE A WILD HEATHEN?”

Stretch and Blue has an assortment of freckles scattered across their faces. Blue wears a retainer when he sleeps and has a slight gap between his top front teeth.

Black wants Jamie to come to a game or practice to cheer him on. He wants to show off his skills in an attempt to woo her gain her attention.
