there’s nothing in canon that actively disproves this hc so basically i think grey turned simmons into an absolute war machine on chorus

ok i wanna talk about it a bit .

the cross in his eye is basically a target bot, it automatically works out how to kill the people in his immediate proximity in a number of different ways and also helps his aim when shooting. it also has different vision types like night vision or infrared

the teeth on the left side of his face had to be replaced anyway when sarge was doing the original cyborg surgery bc it was a butchered job and grif needed a jaw bone, but he just gave him like regular dentures to replace them. on chorus emily decided to give him the teeth from the My Main Goal Is To Blow Up Then Act Like I Don’t Know Nobody guy so that he could literally go feral and tear people’s throats out if the opportunity presented itself

his throat is fully metal, despite grif only needing half a neck’s worth of grafts. this is bc giving simmons half a neck of metal while leaving the rest fragile and fleshy is just a recipe for disaster. now he’s immune to being choked, sorry if u had any bedroom plans, grif

and lastly the cybernetic arm!! more powerful than a regular arm ofc, now outfitted with honest to god claws and a sword for an ulna <3
