What Is Limbo? Why the sinners can't stay in that place if it is "safe"? It have any Ruler and native demons?

Limbo is both easy and complicated

limbo is the gateway to hell specifically and does have a ruler! It’s Belial, the daughter of Lucifer.

and as much as she’d love to let people stay, it would be the equivalent of living in a subway or an airport for the rest of eternity… or I guess More accurately, TSA mixed with a courthouse.

souls are judged in limbo, mostly mortal souls, however on the rare occasion there’s Hellborn being judged.

These Hellborn are essentially soul collectors and employees and don’t live in limbo because you really, can’t?

Like it’s safe, there’s no violence but it’s the eternity of emptiness that starts your journey to hell.

What do you even do in the void?

Hell Belial lives in pride herself so like, yeah.

Does hell have a evolving culture are technology, like in the middle ages it was more reminiscent to our belief, but in the modern times there is more technology? Or is stagnant and incapable to change?

Hell is changing yes, but this is again depending on the sin.

The most modern places are Limbo, Sloth and Lust.

Lust however keeps in the 90’s to early 2000s in aesthetics, much more dazzle and shine.

Gluttony is between the 60s-70s, it’s all about groove and disco.

Sloth is the most futuristic being ahead of the curve thanks to Belphagor’s love for technology and need to innovate.

Pride and Wrath are the slowest going in technology and stay in the early 1900s (wrath is a bit more behind and base themselves off Ancient Rome at times)

Greed and Envy however are a mix match of cultures and ideals due to the fact of their sins competing with the leaders.

Leviathan is a very old school woman and will often not want to deal with technology but her whole thing is you know? Envy?

Mammon is medieval core personally but is greedy enough to adapt.

How is the relationship of hellborn and sinners? Are the last suffer any prejuice from the hellborn? Are the sinners capable of building groups to protect each other?

In short words: very poor

Longer words:

Sinners have to climb the ranks of the hierarchy in order to be treated with any kind respect, as most sinners start at the same rank as Imps/Familiars do.

So often nobility in hell, aka “Angelic bloods” often look down upon human blooded beings. Depending on where you live that could mean that you might be spat on by the rich, in other places it’s means you’re the next target.

However Sinners that came through a deal have their patron demon to protect them, and sometimes sinners will clump in groups akin to mafia groups (actually being organized crime as sinners clumping together isn’t exactly helpful/wanted by angelic blood demons)

However this depends between ring to ring and how the situation is and how lax the sin is, semantics and politics.

How safe are each realm? How can demons travel to earth?

Depending on the realm it’s either very hostile overall or only hostile to sinners.

Pride, Gluttony, Sloth are all good for hellborn but extremely bad for sinners. (Pride often is too cold for sinners unless you’re specifically in the city, Gluttony hunts down sinners like they’re prey animals and Sloth often keeps drugs and alcohol too strong for humans or human adjacent souls that they sleep for long periods or even just perish.)

Lust is fine for both sinners and hellborn, sinners are the customer after all and any sinner willing to breed are used to keep the succubus count pretty high

Wrath is ONLY GOOD for imps and wrath based demons, most non imps (including hellborn) often cannot survive the very harsh and very violent conditions.

Envy is good if you’re a water based demon, otherwise you’re stuck in an area that’s often suffocating and very hard to navigate.

Greed is the most hostile to hellborn but most “welcoming” to sinners, mostly as a trap to keep sinners in debt and put them in the extreme working conditions that hellborn are in.

Limbo is the opening gates so not many people live there, and limbo is also where demons can be checked to go to the human realm.

Sinners RARELY can go back to the living world, Hellborn have to have the permission of the sins through an exam. Sins have specialized exams each set of hellborn have to go through, and one fails they cannot leave hell (like a business license of sorts)

Alice is a child who runs away from home after a bad fight with her older sister, so she runs away to a circus. The circus is however, in the Fae realm, so she has to deal with a bratty princess of the Fae and a cast of strange characters.

Alice the animal tamer uses her stuffed animals as her animals

Hatter and March are clowns

White rabbit is their manager

Red Princess is the ring leader

Twiddle dee and twiddle dum are conjoined twin sisters and acrobats

Cheshire Cat is the magician

The Green caterpillar is their psychic medium and shady uncle figure.

Does Belphegor have some kind of chronic fatigue? I'm kind of obsessed with her, could you tell me more about the character?

Close but not quite, she’s paralyzed from the hips down.

So she genuinely cannot walk for long periods of time thanks to a birth defect, which she uses as an opportunity to innovate and inspire others to innovate (granted she will just steal ideas if she finds them good enough, she is the sin of sloth.)

She’s a procrastinator and a teenager in terms of demon age (she ages slowly due to her status as a sin, she will be an adult in a few more decades.) she also loves rock concerts and colleges, enough so to sneak into them.

Alright here’s the announcement because I’m getting messages about it and I want to make it clear

So if imps are direct descendats of Satan, why they are the lowest of the hierarchy?

Not Satan, Iblis (the difference was made for a lore reason I’ll explain later.)

but the reasons are petty on Lucifer’s front.

1) Iblis had SEVERAL children like 10-20, which multiplied rapidly over several generations. Said generations mingled with sinners and other demon types to where they’re more akin to how we domesticated pets than their demonic ancestor.

2) Iblis’ wife is a sinner, she’s not a fallen Angel so all Imps are part human from the jump. Lucifer hates humanity and wants them to suffer, so beings that are more sinner than Angel get the lowest form of respect.

3) unless given power and being upgraded to Furies, Imps have no natural connection to magic. So all they are, are durable which makes them good for work.

4) finally, it’s within imp culture to breed and be wrathful. It’s something that if not controlled can cause an overpopulation of them within Hell, this was once mitigated by the fact that imps were also considered familiars to witches on earth… but now earth’s connection with god (and thus Lucifer) is weakened, imps aren’t allowed to go to earth as much as they used to. So it’s easier to subjugate them and even cull them than try to deal with what’s basically an invasive species.

5) Imagining them all as Babel, Iblis’ sinner wife, and then subjugating/killing them is extremely cathartic (Lucifer’s thoughts)

Essentially the more human something is, the lower on the totem pole it is as it’s tendency for magic is lower. Sinners who start in hell have no magic and imps have no magic at all.

Maybe this means imps are the most human being in hell.
