Oh absolutely, I do! I always want to show my appreciation if someone takes the time to comment.
What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I’m angst averse so I don’t write angsty endings!
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
All of the endings are happy.
Do you get hate on fics?
Fortunately, I have not.
Do you write smut?
Yup.
Craziest crossover:
I’ve not written a crossover
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not as far as I know.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
I have not.
Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
No. I’m not sure I have the disposition for it
All time favourite ship?
Forever and always - David & Patrick
What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Ooo I don’t like the word doubt. I have a few that I want to finish and I struggle with each of them in different ways. And while it’s possible something may never be finished, I don’t want to say that I doubt I'll finish. I am going to try to finish all my wips.
What are your writing strengths?
I think I’m decent at emotional tone. And occasionally I can make a really pretty sentence.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Oof. Punctuation, commas in particular. I know I tend to over-write and often end a paragraph with a sentence that stomps on the previous ones. Oh, and I love a flowery description.
Thoughts on dialogue in another language?
I’ve only done it once. It’s fine?
First fandom you wrote in?
Schitt’s Creek
Favourite fic you've written?
Probably Heart/Paper. It’s a world I’d really love to live in, even if David and Patrick weren’t there. But I have a soft spot for each of my fics. Writing them brought me immense joy.
We love a good surprise, like finding money in our pockets or a special sale on eye of newt. But even more than that, we love a plot twist or a fic moment that makes our jaw drop.
Check out these didn't-see-that-coming moments and leave the authors some love!

Body Count ( @weathereyehorizon) "I don't really even know how to talk about this one without giving the good stuff away. It's just so fun and clever and funny. It's a mistaken identity matchmaking dream."
The heat between me and you ( @likerealpeopledo-on-ao3) "The tags look misleading if you read them too fast on this one, but the dove is not so dead, nor so dove. It's actually very fun and pretty spicy!"
Let me paint you a picture (houdini74/ @mostlyinthemorning) "The whole premise of this fic is fantastic, but I was very much surprised by the not your typical roles that David and Patrick played. It's all so good!"
Quick and dirty ( @smallumbrella369) "A totally believable version of what happens when David and Patrick decide to stay at Jake's whiskey night."
Rescued by the farmer ( @dinnfameron) "I would pay actual real money to have scene this go down on the show. It's David and Patrick, but with more Harlequin vibes."
Schittier than fiction ( @delilah-mcmuffin) "This is a gem. The premise is great and it's a little bit wacky, but that's what makes the whole thing so perfect."
Start Spreading the News (PandorasDaydream) "The angst was HUGE! Probably the saddest fic I’ve read and certainly the one I cried the most at. HOWEVER, they do get their happily ever after, and it was beautiful so it made the angst worth it. I was surprised at the premise- David and Patrick divorce! But ultimately so satisfying when they reunited after time apart. Such a well written story and for those who love angst fics, this is one of the best there is!"
There it is on the tip of my tongue ( @designatedgrape) "But what about an AU where David is still running RA, but Patrick has a coffee shop across the street? And it's really hot."
I call upon the fan fic writing gods to bless you with the perseverance to finish one of your unfinished drafts.
May your fingers dance along the letters upon your device with ease, may the devil of distraction stay far from you, and may your work not need much editing.
I pass this blessing upon every fan fic writer out there.
Another anniversary post and a look back. I remember starting this one while I was writing Bloom. I wanted to try my had at writing a longer story. And in a weird way, since Bloom lacked a sex scene, I felt compelled to 'make up for it' by writing, I think, four into this one.
Originally, this had an extensive sound track, but it didn't feel right to add background music that wasn't actually playing in their world, so I took most of them out. Looking back at things I'd change- definitely broke it into chapters! Definitely a rookie mistake!
I want to write. I have ideas. I open document. I type four of the worst sentences ever created in the english language. I daydream the rest of the scene. I close document.
David tries not to judge his husband’s attire, generally. He really does try. Mostly because he loves Patrick, and also because Patrick possesses some sort of rare magic that makes him look good in everything. On this day, however, David fails to keep the judgment from his voice.
The Patrick [redacted] in his [redacted redacted] fic is here!
We're delighted to usher in your weekend with part two of the Friends of Farm Witches Faves!
The coven loves these lists and hope you do, too. Go read and leaves those comments and kudos!

Always Then & Now (@my-nameless-bliss) “So much to love here - the pacing, the character, the growth, the love! These vulnerable discussions about marriage. Just perfect.”
Beloved (@blackandwhiteandrose) “David as a funeral director is somehow perfect. An incredible and unique AU.”
Cloudy with a chance (agoodpersonrose) “Rival weathermen! Very snippy, and very sweet.”
Getting over getting older all the time (@distractivate) “I love the writing and characterization of our beloved characters over 10 years. The writer made me love someone who Patrick is not meant to be with. I can’t recommend this one enough.”
Going down (@concannonfodder “One of the first long AUs I read in this fandom. It's beautifully written and sexy as hell. I love how the author writes Patrick teetering on the brink of discovery, the tenderness, the sexytimes, as well as the passion with which they place us right there in New York, among David's favourite foods and sights. Highly, highly recommend.”
Measure for measure (@schittyfic) “I love that this writer has managed to make dick measuring both so sweet and so hot. The perfect read.”
Molten glass hearts (januarium) “Glassblowing, Patrick, and David have never been this hot. Sounds like nonsense? It totally works and they're better off because of it!”
The necessity of risk (returntosaturn) “Original. Sexy. Romantic. Hands-down, the best tattoo fic out there.”
One Night in Milwaukee (@flowerfan2) “Everything! There's something for every mood- humor, angst, growth, communication, sexy times, food. It's very visually descriptive, and such a fantastic rom-com twist at the beginning! There's also a couple of follow up fics in the series, because one was never enough! I've reread this so many times!”
One Star at a Time: A Survival Guide for the Reluctant Camper (@cinnaluminum) “Everything. Characterisation, pace, setting, story. It's thought-provoking, almost profound in parts. It's emotional and intense and quotable and perfect.”
Waiting on the day (high-seas-swan/@noahreids) “Slow-burn amazingness.”
You should let me save the day (@simplymarleycat) “While this fic has so many favorite tropes in it, it doesn't feel rushed or like they were jammed haphazardly into it. David and Patrick's budding relationship from complete strangers into much more over the course of one night just pulls you with the perfect balance of canon-adjacent content. If you need a comforting, sweet, and hot fic, look no further!!!”
