Dancing In The Rain
Werewolf!Ace x GN!Reader
Chapter 17
"Alright, Y/N, these are my brothers. The blonde with the large scar is Sabo. And the shirt younger one with the black hair and with the car under his eye is Luffy," Ace introduced them to you, trying to loosen up the tension in the air. You hid behind his body, squinting your eyes are them as they smiled at you. They looked nice but you weren't sure, and what the hell happened to the zombie. Did the Luffy kid eat it? "Don't worry, they may seem scary, but they're not. Unless when we're eating together and then it gets aggressive."
You looked up at Ace with a stab-ish stare.
"Oh, sorry! Well, uh, anyways-" Ace was pushed out of the way, the two brothers stood in front of you.
"Did he kidnap you!? You can tell us you know!" They both said.
"Uhm uh, well," you stuttered, stepping back a bit. A million things ran through your mind, most of them answer about what you would say, "well, it's actually the other way a-around. If y-ou, uhm, th-think about it."
"Really!? You kidnapped Ace!" Luffy said loudly and got up real close to your face.
"How does that work?" Sabo said in a more nicer way.
"He, w-was a d-d-dog, and I-"
"They saved me from being hunter food, and I guess I never really gave consent to being a pet. But I never left so I guess it wasn't technically kidnapping. But if you think about iiiit-" Ace said but stopped when the mood shifted really quickly.
Your hands were gripped harshly by the brothers, their eyes changed. Veins started to show on their faces as the air went thick and heavy, hard to breath.
"Hey!" The hands that were holding you suddenly went limo as blush spilt on the floor, "They saved me! They didn't actually kidnap me and hold me hostage! They fed me, washed me, and took care of me. So there's nothing to be so pissy about!" Ace wrapped his arms around you, pulling you away from them, even turning you away so his back was facing them. A deep growl leaving him, even a bit of drool fell onto your head.
Ace took your hands into his softly, looking at them carefully to see if there would be any bruising. Looking at them closely and lightly pressing in areas to see if there's any reaction. Your face heated up as his lips ghosted over your knuckles.
"Excuse me, brother, would you mind explaining how they know about our existence?" Sabo said, this time he was squinting his eyes.
More panic ran through you, would they actually kill you? Were these really Ace's brothers!? They seem so scary, more scary than him!
"Well uh, I tried to take their memories, but they uh, they remembered. And now we are here," Ace explained, "hunters found me, uhm," Ace looked at you before huddling to Sabo and Luffy. Whispering something to them.
Sabo's face turned a bit worry some while Luffy's lit up after a little bit. Sabo's eyes held a bit of rage, sadness, betrayal, while Luffy's held confusion, excitement, and curiosity.
"YOU DATED TORAO-"
"SHUT UP MORON! DON'T SPEAK HIS DAMN FUCKING NAME!" Ace yelled and shoved Luffy very hard.
Torao.
Law complained about someone calling him Torao.
"OW! ACE!"
"NO, SHUSH! DO NOT SPEAK OF THAT BLOOD SUCKER EMO JERK AROUND US!" Ace loomed over his younger brother, pointing his finger at him.
"Why!? He's so nice to me?" Luffy asked.
"Yeah, to you! But to me, and Y/N, that's a completely different story. Most of my new faint scars are from him! He has given us so much bullshit these pass weeks, or month, or whatever! I hate his guts, I never liked him in the first place," Ace huffed, there was so much shit happening that you just stood there. Looking with wide eyes, despite how worried you got it was actually good tea.
"I apologize for my actions earlier, Luffy won't apologize but I'll do it for him," Sabo came closer and apologized.
"Oh, uhm, it's fine. But, why is Luffy and Ace being so violent towards each other?" You asked, furrowing your brows in confusion.
"Huh, oh he cares about Luffy. He shows it more now than he did when we were kids, back then there was so much more destruction. I can't even count how many times Ace went at him," Sabo sighed.
"Wait, what do you mean 'went at him'?" You asked.
"Ace punched and attacked Luffy when he first met him, he even left him to be taken by some big shots and was tortured for our trea-" Sabo stopped talking when he felt the sudden anger from you. Lips turned into a thin line.
Taking a deep breath, grabbing your flipflop, and turning to the two black haired boys. Lightly smacking the bottom of the shoe on your palm.
"Portgas."
SMACK
"D."
SMACK
"Ace."
SMACK.
Ace froze and tensed up at the sound, slowly turning his head to see you in your terrifying face.
"Sabo, how old was Luffy?"
"He was 7, me and Ace were 10 when we me-" Sabo stopped, realizing his mistake.
"Oh, were you there too when this happened, that's not very older brother like," your voice got darker as you grabbed the other shoe. Both of the boys started to sweat profusely.
Ace backed away very slowly, like you were a cougar or a bear that was about to attack. Meanwhile Sabo stood still, froze in place and was afraid to move like you were a T-Rex. The werewolf got to his blonde brother, thinking he was safe untile Ace tripped.
Loud whacks, thuds, and yelps filled the house and could probably even be heard outside of the house. You held Luffy to your chest, baby talking to him and rubbing his poor head. Ace and Sabo we're on the floor holding their heads, groaning in pain.
"Poor baby, I'm sorry that happened to you. Do you want some cooked meat? We still have a lot left and I could make you a big dinner," you said, ruffling up his hair.
"Really!? Yes please!" Luffy said with wide eyes and drool coming out of his mouth.
You got up and grabbed some, not even asking Ace where the pans are. You just found them yourself and then turned the stove on. Setting the meat in the pan and getting some green herbs, ripping them up and splitting it up to put it on each piece of meat for flavor. Luffy stood behind you, a large smile on his face while jumping up and down.
Ace growled at Luffy but he quickly stopped when you gave him the stare. He would have to deal with it. Every plate you gave to Luffy he shoved it down his throat, it only took 10 seconds for you to get the plate back. The more he ate, the more the meat went low, who knew such a small boy had such a big appetite. You told Ace and Sabo to go hunt for more meat, Ace was hesitant but listened, both of the boys were surprised how Ace listened.
Ace huffed as he walked through the woods, a frown on his lips and pain in his eyes. Sabo looked at his bother, those brown chocolate eyes that were usual filled with happiness was replaced by sadness. Those puppies eyes that he almost rarely never see. So the blonde really wondered how important you really were to Ace, what did you do to him. The last time him and Luffy have ever seen those puppy eyes was when, Isuka, well, when Isuka betrayed him and tried to kill him. So the fact that he found another human and made him have puppy eyes really meant a lot.
"Hey, brother, are you doing okay?" Sabo said, head tilted to the side.
"Mhm."
"You sure, you're acting like a lost little puppy, wanting some love," he said, the only response he got was Ace huffing loudly, "do you love y/N?"
Ace stopped, body tensed, hands curled up into fist, his eyes wide as he tried to think. He didn't know what to say, his alpha side has been going off since both of them have gotten there. Just seeing you hug Luffy made him extremely angry, if it weren't for the fact that you were in the room, Luffy would most likely be dead. Or very badly injured, he's protected you from everything. But in the end, the one thing that made it hard to say no, was the bite. The bite at the junction of your neck and shoulder, that bite, the bite that had his scent and would scar badly.
He knew Sabo could smell it, there was no way he couldn't, Luffy was clueless.
"You marked them."
"I know."
"Did you mean too?"
"I don't know," Ace's voice got shaky as the scene came back. Your screams and cries, the punches and stabs, the thrashing and pushing. The blood as well, there was so much fun blood that filled his mouth and on your body, "that damn Trafalgar had his scent all over them!"
Ace punched a tree, a loud bang filled the area, the tree fell over as the werewolf panted. He was scared. He didn't deserve love, not with the blood that ran through his veins, especially after that incident. Did you even love him!? It was bad enough you knew what he was but loving him could bring a whole new danger. Izou told him, how his old friend Oden fell in love with a human. Even had children with her, then they were both hunted down and killed. Who knows what happened to the children, Izou hoped they were okay.
"It wouldn't hurt to try. You know, you never listened to Isuka as good as you listen to them. Let alone protect them as much as you did to Isuka, let alone how soft you held their hands," Sabo set his hand on Ace's bare shoulder, "Ace, brother, it's okay to love. Your blood has nothing to do with it, it doesn't hurt to try."
Ace didn't know how to feel, you showed no signs of liking him, were you still in love with Law? What if he hurt you again? He wanted to be praised like he usually was but with extra love, to feel your pats, boops, hugs. He wanted it, it's what he always wanted, to be touched in a loving manner.
"Let's, let's just get the meat and get back, I don't want to be yelled at again," Ace mumbled and started to walk. Sabo followed.
Meanwhile back at the house, Luffy looked at you and sniffed loudly. Not for the meat, but at the scent that was coming off of you. It was Ace's scent, the last time a human smelt like him was that red haired girl.
"Luffy? Are you okay?" You asked.
"You smell like Ace, are you two together?"
"Uhm, no," you quickly turned away, feeling your face heat up.
"Really?" Luffy stuffed his mouth with more food, "you smell like," he swallowed it down, "him, not in the way of being around him but like he marked you," Luffy stuffed his mouth once again.
Marked you? He did bite you a lot, could he have maybe a bit a part of you that marked you as his.
"You know, Ace once had a human girlfriend."
That made you freeze.
"Short, big chest, short red or orange hair, a bandage on her face, I can't remember her name," he sat there and hummed. He seemed like this wasn't a problem for him, but for you, it was a completely different story.
No, it couldn't be, right? Isuka said she's never dated anyone. She wouldn't lie, would she? Now that you thought about it, Ace did always seem stiff when she was around. Not only that but how he acted when she tried to call. Plus when she randomly showed up to your house when your memories got taken away.
"Is, is her name...Isuka...?"
"Yeah! Isuka! That's her name!" Luffy laughed a bit, "she was really nice until Ace found out she was a hunter. Then she tried to kill him, saying how he was nothing but a curse or something. And how he ruined her life because she dated a werewolf and that she would be killed for it. Man, I can't believe how rude she was-"
Your phone started ringing, it was vibrating on the kitchen table where Luffy was eating. The ringtone, you set it for one person, Isuka. The air went thick as you could feel the anger coming off of Luffy's small body. You didn't wait another second standing there, you rushed to the door and threw it open. Sprinting outside into the thick forest while Luffy ran behind you. You ran as fast you could, over thick fallen trees and off small cliffs.
You needed to find Ace, or something to stop Luffy from trying to kill you. Who knows how long you were running, your legs ached and lungs burned. Eyes felt dry from keeping open to make sure you didn't run into a tree or trip over something. But with your luck with getting hurt, when you closed your eyes to get them wet again you tripped over something. Landing back first onto the hard dirt floor and as slid down a bumpy hill. Hitting a few rocks here and there until you fell onto a hard rock surface.
A few groans left you as you could already feel the bruising happening, your head swirled with pain as you opened your eyes. But you wished you hadn't.
Tree roots were wrapped around your legs, while your head was hanging off the edge of a large cliff. Your vision was blurry from tears and dizziness.
Were you about to die.
It seemed that was what was about to happen when you heard a scratchy groan. The kind that a zombie made.
Turning your head slowly and shakily there was a zombie tied up in thick roots. It groaned and bit at the air as it pulled on the roots. It was definitely hungry, with how desperate it was acting you knew it would tear you apart, limb from limb.
You were really going to die.
~~
"Hey do you smell?" Sabo asked, sniffing the air, "it smells like human and zombie blood, but also, Luffy?"
One whiff of the air and Ace immediately could tell you were in trouble. On instinct he sprinted in the direction of your blood, leaving Sabo speechless.
"Wha- Hey wait a second Ace!" Sabo ran after him.
~~
The roots creaked and cried as it out more force into it's lunging, it had definitely been here for a while. You tried to get yourself free, but your body ached and cried with every movement. You didn't want to die.
How would Ace react?
There was a loud snap as the zombie screeched, lunging at you with full force and mouth wide open. You screamed loudly and cried, waiting for pain to fill your body. But all that came was warmth and a loud thud with something exploding. Opening your eyes you saw Ace holding the remains of a crushed head, the zombie's body falling and rolling off the cliff.
Hearing your sniffles the werewolf turned to you, seeing your shaking figure and tear filled eyes. It hurt his soul, crouching down and somehow burning the roots he took you in his arms. Carefully keeping the bloody hand away from any of your opened wounds. He didn't want you to get infected, that was the last thing he needed. Ace started to doubt himself how could you love him if he couldn't even protect you properly. Twigs snapped as the air thickened, Ace suddenly whipped around as a hard force hit his back. The ground cracked as Ace was shoved forward, keeping you close to him and standing his ground.
"Luffy? What the hell are you doing!?" Ace yelled at his little brother, turning his head to him.
"Saving you and us from that hunter, they know Isuka Ace! Isuka is a hunter and that means they are too!" Luffy yelled, teeth bared in a scowl.
"Luffy, are you crazy!? They're not a hunter, if they were I would already be dead by now! Either that or injured really badly, plus my ass would get beat by Pops again for hanging around another hunter! Have you forgotten already!? They saved me! Took me in! Fed me food! Bathed me, fucking hell they bathed me in human form too! They're not a hunter, yes they know Isuka bit they didn't know either!" Ace growled loudly, his chest vibrating, heartbeat quickened from the running and his anger.
You looked up at your savoir in awe, how his body was covered in sweat, how his Adam's apple bobbed.
"Not only that, but Law would probably be dead too! With all the shit that he caused I know he wouldn't be alive if they were a hunter! So stand down now! Luffy."
The last part he said coldly as you felt his nails grow. The growling got louder and louder, Luffy got closer and closer. Ace loomed over his younger brother, snarling loudly.
"Luffy. Back. Down."
"No. They're a hunter!"
They got closer to each other as veins began to pop up on his chest and arms. It scared you, making you curl up in his arms. You expected them to jump at each other so you prepared yourself for it. And he did get hit, but not by Luffy. By Sabo, he punched them both in the head.
"Enough, both of you. Come on, try to get along, Luffy he has a point. If they were really a hunter your friend would be dead by now, and Ace would be injured terribly. So calm down. And Ace you especially calm down, we aren't here for trouble," Sabo said, sounding like eh was giving in.
But why? They were brothers, it didn't make sense to you until you looked up at the werewolf boy. His teeth were sharp and brows strongly furrowed, his eyes. They glowed a bright red and orange color, like a flame flicking around. Then you remembered, wolves were hostile to other wolves and such in their territory. This was his territory, Luffy was hostile towards him. So of course it would make sense for Ace to only be extremely hostile to both of them. Plus, if Ace really did mark you, then he harmed or touched something that belonged to Ace. Wait a minute.
You weren't fucking property!
"Luffy, let's go get the meat while we let them get back to the house. Okay? Come on," Sabo tugged on Luffy's sleeve, it took a couple of tugs but he followed. Ace stood there, growling and snarling loudly at them, even when they were a good ways away.
There was a loud cracking sound before the ground shifted, Ace jumped into the air and onto the normal dirt floor. The rock cliff falling apart along with some of the trees. He didn't waste any more time standing around, the werewolf ran towards the house, holding you close. He was still on defense, nails softly digging into your skin. Those eyes still holding fire in them, any sound that didn't come from him walking was met by a loud snarl. Even if it was just a little innocent rabbit he scared it to death.
The underground house was coming into sight as Ace picked up the speed. Holding you close to try and ease the pain as your body began to jump. Soft whimpers left you as he lightly dumped into the door, somehow turning the handle and opening it up. Just leaving it open as he made his way to the bedroom to set you down and let you rest. The bed creaked when he set you on the soft and comfortable bed. You hissed a little but fought the pain as your body relaxed and melted into the mattress. But you never got to fully rest because you felt warm big hands grab your arm and then you felt a wet strong muscle lick a wound.
Your eyes opened widely as you looked at Ace, drool slipped down his tongue and onto the wound. It stung but his saliva numbed it fairly quickly. After licking the wound he gave it a soft kiss before moving onto the next wound. He did this to all of your wounds, after everytime he licked the injury he would kiss it after. How sweet. Your eyes softened at him as he checked the bites he left. But it seemed he focused more on the one that was at the junction between your neck and shoulder. Sniffing it and lightly poking it.
"Does...does it hurt?" He asked, whimpering a little.
"Sometimes, it feels like it's pulsing right now but that's about it," you watched as his lips turned into a pout, "Ace, it's not your fault. You just followed your instincts and that's okay, you have nothing to feel bad about. Plus I wouldn't even know who you are without you biting me."
Your soft fingers cupped his warm cheek, his eyes darted from your eyes back to the bite. You rubbed his cheek with your thumb, softly sliding your pointer finger to his nose and booped him.
"Boop."
You lightly chuckled at his reaction.
"I'm sorry for messing things up between your brothers, I never knew you and Isuka...had a past. I guess I should of read your body language from the start, I'm really sorry Ace," you apologized, adverting your eyes away from him.
"No, it's okay, you didn't know. Hunters are good at pretending. And my brothers will get over it, if Luffy got over me hitting him then he'll get over you," Ace smiled.
"Yeah," you punched his cheek and pulled it, "don't do it again."
You yawned loudly and settled down, letting go of his cheek and settling under the covers.
"Thank you Ace, you saved my life again. You're a good boy, and you'll always be a good boy," you smiled at him, watching as his face turned red. A large smile appeared on his face.
Watching as he walked out and shut the lights off, checking too make sure you were comfortable enough. He closed the door and softly walked away, when he got into the kitchen he lightly fangirled. But it was interrupted by your phone ringing, it was Isuka, usually he wouldn't answer. Not only is it Isuka, but they could track your phone, but there were zombies around. Zombies were known to stop tracking and signal so they wouldn't be able to track your phone. He picked it up, taking a deep breath and answered the call.
"Oh my god!! You finally answered your fucking calls!! Where are you and why did you quit!? Where are you anyways!?" Isuka yelled.
"Y/N's safe, far away from you and anyone that can harm them," Ace answered. Trying to be a gentleman like he was taught when he was younger.
He could hear Isuka freeze, he could feel the anger and betrayal coming through the phone.
"Ace, where is Y/N." She said coldly.
"Safe, with me, hiding, and away from hunters like you. I let them get to them before, and won't let that happen again, I won't let you hurt them either. You can try your best but you won't succeed, I do wish we could of worked it out between us. But instead you tried to kill me straight away, you don't know how you betrayed me, but Y/N's different. I won't let you, Law, or any other supernatural and hunter hurt them. Good day, Isuka."
He quickly pulled the phone away and ended the call, blocking her and put it on the counter. He promised, no one would ever hurt you, he promised.

Ya know, after rewatching Marineford arc and Oden's past, I've noticed Izou has a resting bitch face. Every screenshot I've seen with him having a straight face or with no emotion is just a resting bitch face. His brows are a little furrowed, a little frown, sometimes at the edge of his lips there's a little curl upwards. But even as he was young he had a resting bitch face, and for those who have never met someone with a resting bitch face. They can be sassy, mean, or be petty. Either that or their nice and you just don't know it. I have a resting bitch face and the amount of times my friends have asked me pissed me of is insane. So I can only imagine how people reacted when Izou just resting his face on the Whitebeard ship. I can only imagine how angry he got from the questions and then reacting when he snaps. He probably scared Whitey Bay with it as well.

Dancing In The Rain
Werewolf!Ace x GN!Reader
Chapter 16
You woke up to a empty but warm bed, it smelled of cinnamon and freshly baked pumpkin pie. It made all your insides warm and comfy, shuffling over to the other side and nuzzling into the pillow. It seemed to make you feel better, it also made you fall a sleep again. You seemed to do this over and over, waking up, inhale the scent and just pass out. Nothing could help whatever you did while sleeping. Even when it came to Ace checking on you, and it really surprised the werewolf.
How you grabbed him with such sudden strength and pulled him in the bed with you, cuddling and curling up to him. Ace couldn't escape, hell he didn't want to, he's never had a animal lay on him. He's heard that it's terrible because they don't want to move, they can't, it was apparently illegal. He now knew that feeling, and he knew it would feel very illegal to move. Looking at your peaceful face, body rising and falling from breathing. He loved it, it was so fucking adorable, just the thought of moving made him feel terrible. Slowly and unsure if it was okay if he wrapped his arms around you, but he did. Holding you close as you nuzzled into his body all so innocently. It just made him really happy and stomach twisting and turning, god it made him feel all weird. But somehow, and for some reason, the fact that you were comfortable in his arms made him really happy and proud. Almost calming as well. Looking down at you sleeping body, trusting him, even after what he did. It made him happy and, made him feel loved.
He snuggled into your hair and tried to sleep himself, Ace got up at least three hours before the sun rise to hunt deer down. It wasn't that hard, only getting hit with a antlers once by one buck. He hanged them up and did the usual thing when you get deer, saving the pelt to maybe use for a coat when winter came back. Breaking the meat from the bones and cutting off any area that smelt bad or looked weird along with the fat. Just throwing it far far away, he would have to go around and out his scent out. Just in case if anybody got too cocky. Then he did another round of cleaning, taking more stuff out of the car and putting things away, trying to get things to work. The hardest thing he had to do, was ignore Isuka that was calling you. The times the phone just rang and rang while doing things, his body just itching to cave in. Eventually he just turned your phone completely off and just continued to work, he got the electric to work. Sadly there wasn't no air conditioner, the only thing that was there was the fire pit.
But from the time he stayed in the little place, the dirt and stuff kept tried to keep it warm, even during summer it was freezing which was a problem. Plus the forecast was usually always rain around the area so it would be cool in the place, even if the air was hot and humid outside. It wasn't always a good thing, but hey, fresh water. Although, he didn't know how you were going to take it that the only fresh water was from the rain to drink, the sink didn't work, but the bathtub did. It was really odd, but hey, at least you got to wash. Just thinking about it made him extra tired and thankfully made him fall asleep faster once he got into bed. Happy that you felt safe and trusted him, it made him feel very loved, it was almost scary.
When you woke up, a very muscular chest was flush against your face, titties on both sides of your head. They felt squished against you a bit, the sound of a steady heartbeat and that fresh fall like smell. A small smile made it's way up to your lips as you felt his chest rise and fall, the little snores that Ace always made. They were so adorable. Laying there for a few minutes, not moving, enjoying the warmth while it lasted because you had a feeling that the place was going to be cold. You started think about all the stories you heard about werewolves. How they're dangerous creatures without any mercy for creatures. How vile and wild they can be. The way they would howl and pray on humans during the night. Movies all about vampires vs werewolf/lycans. They were always made to be the bad guy in almost every story, but, it was so hard to believe.
Preparing yourself to get up and start out the day by maybe looking to find a store near here to buy food. Wiggling a bit in his arms made his body go stiff before relaxing and pulling you even closer. It was squishing you, barely giving you space to breath. Your ribs were being squished and your back even popped. He stunk, it made your nose scrunch up a bit as you tried to scoot back away from him. Because you couldn't scoot back so you scooted down, being careful to not trigger his arms. The thought of being hit while he was sleeping didn't sound good, because it wasn't, from the last time it happened. It was working until you just had to get your head out, and boy was that hard.
Little wheezes left you as you struggled out, it was like Ace was purposely keeping you in a headlock. But you got out, after however long, probably like a half a hour. Taking deep and heavy breaths as you sat up, looking back at Ace's sleeping face. Drool slowly come out of the corner of his mouth. Face was relaxed and squished a bit, it was cute to see him so soft like that. You softly rubbed his head, watching as his head followed your touch. Pushing some stray hair out of his face and cupping his chubby face. It wasn't hard to imagine his puffed out face and lower lip as he poured about it. How adorable, without thinking of it much, you leaned over and pecked his forehead. Not really caring for it, you were tired and just wanted to try and get things done. Standing up quietly and trying your best to tip toe out of the room. The doorknob was cold to the touch which surprised you, the room was actually warm. The floor wasn't even cold, and now that you thought about it that surprised you. But it also scared you, if the room was nice and warm, then would the rest of the house might be cold.
Turning the doorknob and opening it, you were met with the faint sound of rain that was pitting and patting against the roof. Or really the dirt above, and you were right about the rest of the house, it was freezing cold. Looking back into the room your eyes landed on one of the thick blankets that must of fell off. Tip toeing back to the bed you grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around your body. Then softly opening the door once again and walked out, closing it behind you as you looked down the hall. The bedroom was the very last door in the hallway, it was dark and cold, almost like a horror pixel game. Taking a deep breath of bravery you walked down the hall, listening as the rain seem to come down harder. There was another door on your left, but for some reason you didn't want to, you didn't trust it. Which was odd but you didn't question it too much. When you got to the end of the hallway you saw the living room. The place was way cleaner that you remembered. Did Ace clean the area up? No! No way! He seemed to lazy to do that. But you shrugged your shoulders and just continued walking around. Looking at the random little things like trinkets, random little jewelry.
Creaking the front door open to look outside, it was pretty cloudy and rain dropped from the trees and bushes. Squinting your eyes a bit you saw in the little clearing out in front of the house were five, gigantic containers taking the rain. Not only that but there were a lot of FUCKING DEER CARCASSES AROUND THE FUCKING TREES! The opened bodies were on full display, making your stomach twist and turn. Slapping your mouth over your face as you quickly closing the door. Taking deep breaths to calm your stomach and keeping anything from your stomach from coming out of your body. Opening your eyes they landed on the kitchen, your eyes widened once again at the sight of all the meat. What the hell was Ace doing while you were asleep!? There was also some plants on the other end of the counter, looked like some wild carrots, raspberries and blackberries, mint leaves, apples, and kale? It looked like kale, looking at it up close to make to be sure that it was kale. Along with the rest of the things to make sure they were what they looked like. Not anything that was going to be able to poison them.
It all looked ok, thankfully, but the meat was still another problem. Why was there so much cut off meat? You knew Ace LOVED meat but this just seemed like too much. Why would he need to hunt? Wasn't there already food here or at least some canned food? Opening the fridge you were met with a disgusting rotten and mold like smell, quickly shutting it and turning away. Blocking your nose and coughing while gagging as well. Walking away very fast and even throwing the door open to get fresh breath, fresh damp air, it was better than the fucking rotten food or whatever was in that fridge. Taking deep breaths and trying to not throw your all of your organs up.
A sudden crash coming from the woods beyond made you freeze, eyes widened as you scanned the tree lines. The trees were mostly tall cedar trees or red cedar trees. The rain hit the ground with loud thinks, large water droplets, it was getting harder to see. There was a loud yelping sound from from the thick woods, you've heard stories about urban legends that lived in the deep woods. Creatures that smelled of rotten meat, screeched loudly and could mimic voices. You never did believe them, but you never believed in werewolves either but you're staying with one. Closing the door swiftly but quietly, taking deep breaths and slowly walking back. If this was really what you think it is then you were fucked, especially with this meat. Grabbing the meat and looking around to try and see if you could hide it anywhere. The only thing you could think was the bedroom or the bathroom. But when thinking about the bathroom that feeling came back again, so you just went to the bedroom. But then a sudden screech went through the underground house.
It was followed by a long and sorrowful wail of sadness, like some kind of mother crying out for it's child. It shook you to your core, the way it cried and cried and cried like it was calling out for something it lost. But you continued to the bedroom, knowing that when you got there Ace could protect you, right? He was going to protect you, even though you have raw meat in a bowl that's in your hands. He would still protect you. You weren't sure that he fully would, Ace did still have some dog like features. His head would turn from side to when he didn't understand things, sniffing the air and then following said scent that you can't smell, those sharp fangs.
Just thinking of the fangs made every bite on your body suddenly burn and pulse. Leaning against the wall as you took deep painful breaths through your clenched teeth. There was bangs on the door. Someone, or something was definitely there, but when you actually heard the noise, every liquid nearly left your body.
It made a noise of a zombie. A zombie. A FUCKING ZOMBIE!
Every horror film with zombies ran through your head, World Z, Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, Zombieland, 28 days later. Every way they moved and screeched, how rotten their bodies were. Not only that, but how they bit into people, how they tore them apart and ate them. Tears started to flow and your knees shaked, was it a fast or slow zombie!? How intelligent was it!? Did the meat attract it!?
More bangs on the door for you out of your thoughts, more painful and hungry groans/screeches came from it. Not wanting to wait any longer you stood up and charged to the bedroom. Opening the door and closing it softly to try and not alarm the rotting monster that you were in the house. But it may of been too late. Setting the bowl in the empty closet and rushing to Ace.
"Ace! Ace!" You whisper yelled as you violently shook him, "wake up wake up!"
"Mmmh, five more minutes luffy-" he went back to snoring.
"Ace! Please wake up! There's a monster, a zombie and it's trying to get in!" You got louder and started to sniff because of the snot running from your nose.
The werewolf shot up from the bed and grabbed ahold of you, a tight hug that blocked your view. All you knew was that he was moving very swiftly.
Suddenly you were shoved under the bed and blocked in with a pillow, blanket along with some kind of rock crystal thing. There was also a flashlight and a, cowboy hat?
"Stay here no matter what, and hold onto that rock or whatever until I get back. I'm going to block you in real good so it looks like there's no room underneath the bed. I'll be back," and with that he out boards all around the bed, even the head of the bed even though it was against the wall.
There was thuds and doors opening and closing, the bangs getting louder and more violent. It made your stomach turn and nearly made you sick. All those zombie movies, what if Ace couldn't beat it? What if he turned into a zombie himself!? A zombie werewolf!? No, don't think of that, you needed to calm down. Taking deep and soft breaths through your nose and out your mouth. Calming your body along with your heart beat while looking around, letting your eyes adjust to the darkness. There wasn't much room so it would be hard to stay comfortable. But you tried, fluffing the pillow up quietly and curl up under the thick blanket. Despite being shut in, it wasn't hot or sweaty, just really fucking cold.
But what was odd was that the hat he gave you was warm, like, his body temperature warm. Did he give it to you for that reason or to help keep you calm? Or maybe it would help heat the room up a bit? You weren't sure. But, it was something you've never seen before. Like, how the hell did he keep this hidden from you, along with that damn weird jolly roger tattoo on his back! Ugh, you would ask him about that later-
"Luffy! Stop biting him he's a damn zombie! You're going to get infected yourself, hell I don't even know if you can be infected!"
That was Ace's voice yelling at, a person named, Luffy? Wait, didn't Ace say something about a person named Luffy when you were waking him up?
"Luffy! Wait, hold on! You can't go in there!" Ace yelled closer this time, way closer. Two pairs of heavy stomping footsteps came closer.
"But I smell meat!"
It sounded like a man, maybe a young adult? The bedroom door suddenly burst open as two bodies stumbled in.
"What! Luffy stop! Sabo help me dammit he always liked you better!" Ace yelled at another person.
"What, both of us know we can't stop Luffy from eating meat. Even if it's raw, you used to eat raw meat when we were little, remember that?" Another male said.
"Yes I know I used to, but I was a stupid child! I was teething and hungry and every animal near by smelt good and it made me extra hungry. My senses were kicking in then! It's not my fault!" Ace whined like a child.
It made you giggle, but you quickly learned that you shouldn't have done that.
"Ace, who's here?" The male that was talking before asked in a serious tone. You were screwed.
"No one, it must of been a mouse, or a rat! I haven't been here in the really long time-"
Just then, one of the boards were pulled out and a hand grabbed your shirt. Pulling you out from under the bed, the face you were met with was that of a teenager. Large eyes and a scar underneath his left eye, black shaggy hair, a big large piece of bloody raw meat hanging from his mouth. You screamed, grabbing the board and with all your might you hit him with it. Even when he was down you continued to hit him.
"Hey! Wai-"
"Gah! Luffy! Ace do something!"
"What do you want me to do!?"
A gloved hand grabbed your wrist, turning your attention from the boy to a blonde big eyed older looking boy. Around Ace's age, a large scar over his left part of his face. You screamed again and this time started hitting the blonde with the plank.
You didn't know how long you did that until large warm hands grabbed you and pulled you away. You were kicking and shouting, swinging the plank around till hitting someone.
"Ow! Y/N calm down!" Ace said, suddenly grabbing and plank and throwing it.
"No! Why should I!? They came and grabbed me while you just stood there! You grabbed me really roughly and scared me, especially when they have large eyes!" You cried, eyes closed tightly because you were afraid of seeing them.
"Oooww, Ace, why'd you have them under the bed? That's not a very comfortable place to put someone," the young adult teenager boy said.
"Yeah, why the hell were they under there! We're you keeping them hostage! There's no way you have a lover, absolutely not! You must of been keeping them hostage!"
"What! No they're not my lover!" Ace argued back.
"Then why are you trying to hide them!? Are you afraid that we'll embarrass you infront of them!? I feel offended!" The blonde said with a huff.
"Yeah, it's just like that time you hid all those meat plushies in your closet when we came to visit you."
You stopped your tantrum of fear and opened your eyes to look at Ace. His tan freckled face had a bright hue of red across if it.
"You had meat plushies?"
"No! They're lying! I'm a big grown strong man, psh! Plushies are overrated!" Ace said trying to act cool.
"Yes he does, he has tons of them and likes to cuddle with them all. Some of them smell like actual cooked meat so sometimes he wakes up with stuffing in his mouth because he tried to eat some in his sleep!" The young black haired male laughed. Which made you laugh as well, really loudly.
"What! No I don't, I would never! I have a role to uphold!" Ace argued back and was know the one throwing the tantrum.
"Awh, how adorable, do you want some kind of burger plushie or maybe a fried chicken plushie~" you baby talked to him, scratching under the poor werewolf's chin.
"I don't need any plushies!"

Dancing In The Rain
Werewolf!Ace x GN!Reader
Chapter 15
It was getting late, you still had about 2 and a fourth of a hour left. The sun was setting and it was surprisingly getting dark faster than usual. Ace was fast asleep next to you, snoring loudly and limbs outstretched. And as many could guess, it wasn't fun, his hand would suddenly hit the dashboard. A couple of times it made you jump and made you curse but you knew you couldn't do anything about it. Just making sure to stay clear of it and trying not to crash the car. But as the sun went down further, the more tired you got and the harder to stay awake. Your body was exhausted from trying to keep yourself entertained and the blood loss.
After a while there was a nice looking motel with a nice parking lot. Turning off the road and slowing down to park in a parking spot, turning the car off and looking around for something to cover your windshield. You found a cardboard and you got it to work, feeling a bit more safe, but there was still the side windows. Motels were always creepy, no matter how nice looking they were looking. So looking around for more cardboard which oh so luckily there was extra cardboard. Fixing them to fit in the side windows, going to the back to do those and all that was left was the one by Ace.
Carefully coming back up after putting more stuff to cover the very back window. You readied yourself. If Ace were to wake up while you were leaning over him then it would be really embarrassing. Taking deep and calming breaths as you grabbed the cardboard, carefully you leaned over him. Setting your hand on the door and putting it on the window, being very careful to try and not wake the werewolf. It all seemed to be going well until your waist was suddenly warm. Looking back you were surprised about how Ace somehow cuddled up to your waist. Like a child. You groaned at the thought of trying to get out of his grip. Making sure the cardboard was all fit smug.
Looking down between the seat and the door to see the lever that leans the seat back. Reaching down and pulled it, Ace's seat leaned backwards, grip started to loosen but at the same time he pulled you. Huffing at how hard it was going to be, you didn't know if Ace was a heavy sleeper or not so you were a bit scared. In order to keep yourself up you left your one hand on the door and used your free hand to grab one of his wrist. Tugging at it to try and loosen it and pull it away, but it looked harder than it seemed, and it was way harder.
You must of pressed against some nerve or something because all of a sudden that hand hit your elbow of the hand keeping you up. Letting out a yelp and hitting your chin on the door, groaning loudly in pain. But hey, the looser hand was left, and it was way easier to pry off. Sitting back in your seat and huffed, eyes adjusting to the darkness, it was like you were looking at space without any stars. It just seemed like a endless abyss.
Feeling around by your seat to find that level and pulling up, seat pulling back. Getting comfortable and turning on your side to try and get sleep. There was no use for blankets because Ace was the human heater, he heated up the whole car. There was the thought of him overheating the car but you didn't think it would get that bad. Looking at the dark door, slowly blinking as your body relaxed and your eyelids grew tired. Closing your eyes and finally putting your body to rest.
The next morning you woke up very slowly, eyelids were heavy and eyesight was blurry. Body was stiff and every limb felt like it was asleep, but at the same time everything hurt. Sleeping in a car seat, not the best idea. But you had to get up, despite how comfortable or painful it was. The car needed to be started and you both needed to be on your way. Yawning and stretching your comfortable and sore body, bones popping and bones aching. But it seemed to go away in one certain area, smacking your lips and moving your hand to that area. There was a large, hard, fleshy, round ish thing on your waist. Jumping up and hitting your head on the car roof, crying out in pain as you tried to navigate in the dark. Grabbing the part of the cardboard and ripping it off to let light it, a man whined next to you.
"Why's it bright?" Ace mumbled, looking back over at him, he was half way across, touching you.
"Stay on your side of the damn car Ace!" You screamed and shoved him over. He only whined and groaned as you took the cardboard off the windows, "we need to get going anyways."
Ace probably and most likely wasn't listening, still whining about how you pushed him away. Not only that but how bright it was, curling up and trying to hide away from the sun. Looking around before starting the car to try and see if maybe there was anything suspicious. Once everything was good the car started and you let it cool down a bit. Plugging your phone up to charge it and finally got out of the parking lot. Turning on the road towards the same way that you were last night. There was rustling in the back seat, looking in the mirror to see Ace's back. You would of looked away but your eyes widen at the tattoo that was now there. It was a purple skull with a weird white moon mustache and two bones in a X.
That was a pirates jolly roger. But he was a werewolf, and there were no pirates in modern society. But you don't know how old Ace is. He got back in his seat with food in his hands, opening the packages and taking large bites. Eyes squinted and hair all messy, he had eye boogers and didn't even to bother rubbing them out.
"Take, take a left on the up, the up, uhm the-"
"The up coming road?"
Ace nodded before sitting back and getting all comfy. Watching the road and you, it was like he wasn't even trying to eat, it was like a natural reaction. It was getting quite so you turned the radio on to be met with a news station.
"Here on Vile Ridge, we jus got a report this early morning on a house that seemed to have a messy rearrange. Everything in the house was flipped, thrown, and even broken, blood was also on the scene-"
It was interrupted by a loud gag. Turning your eyes off the raid and over to Ace to see him covering his mouth and holding the granola bar. A thought came into your mind and made you laugh out loud.
"Did it go back too far?"
"Shut up," Ace coughed.
"Aw, poor baby virgin~" you teased.
"I am not a virgin!" He yelled, face was bright red.
"Uhuh, sure."
Ace mumbled something you didn't catch but eh, it was probably him just complaining. He pointed at another turn and a couple hours later, the both of you have arrived. You expected a cabin, like he said. Ya know, wood, logs, in a house shape, when you hear cabin you either think logs as the walls or just made out of wood. But no.
No no.
This wasn't a cabin.
This was a house that went underground, and not just straight underground, it went into a hill of rocks facing away from where you parked.
"Ace...you said this was a cabin."
"It is."
"A cabin is a house made entirely out of wood. This goes into a fucking rock hill, not only that, but a steep ass hill as it goes down further. This isn't a cabin!" You argued. You could already smell the mud and mold, how many bugs were in there. It made your nose scrunch up.
"It's not as bad as it looks, I promise," Ace tried to reason with you. He even put his hands up, "it's the first thing I could think of, I can find someplace else where."
Great, now you feel bad. He was probably right, it was probably safer here, the roads where terrible and the driveway was long and bumpy. The surrounding forest was thick, so it was pretty well hidden, not to mention the house literally on the side of a hill.
"No, it's okay. If you think this is the safest place then you're probably right," you said, turning to look at him, "plus, you're a good boy."
You cupped his cheeks with one hand as you squeezed them, feeling his skin warm up and he went red. Adorable.
"Yeah yeah, c'mon, the sooner we get in the sooner we can get it taken care of. I can only imagine the amount of dust that's in there," Ace whined, opening the car door.
"Yeah, and you're going to help," you added. It only made him groan louder while you giggled. He really was adorable.
The both of you grabbed things out of the car, Ace headed out first, following a stone path down and around. He left you to get the rest of the stuff. Lazy bastard. Grabbing most of what you can and scurried on down the path, trying not to trip. But you should of known with all the bites you had, it wouldn't be easy. You tried over your own feet after getting a dizzy spell, falling down to try and straighten yourself you. Two warm arms wrapped around your body and held you up, holding you against them. Ace.
"Hey! Take it easy, your hurt! Shit I totally forgot about that! I'm so sorry, here let me take the rest of it, go sit down on the couch in there. It isn't as dusty as I thought it would be," he said, quickly taking all of the things out of your hands and softly pushing you forward, making sure that you were standing still. You just nodded and continued on.
Turning the corner and trying not to look down the steep hill in fear of maybe getting even dizzier. The door was thankfully open for you to just walk in, looking around a bit before your eyes landed on the couch. Quickly walking over and just falling down on it and letting your body become one with he couch. Sitting in the car for so long made your body ache, of course there were bathroom breaks but that was about it. Not only that but your eyes were strained from just staring at ash fault for so long. And who knew someone could get tired of ash fault!
There was shuffling and sounds of Ace bumping into things as he moved to fit int the door. You had your head in your hands and tried to keep yourself steady. Blinking slowly and trying to ignore the pain but it was hard, it felt as if it was heating up slowly. Ace came into your vision with worry in his eyes, brows furrowed.
"May I, uhm, take a look, at them," he asked softly, voice shaken.
"Sure," you said softly.
He very softly and carefully removed the cloths one at a time, first starting with the one on the junction between your shoulder and neck. Looking at it carefully before standing up and going down a random hall. Coming back a few seconds later with some more fabric and some bandages, kneeling in front of you. He took care of you as if you were a little baby, anytime you winced or hissed he's stop and make sure you were okay. You were confused when he licked the cloths but he told you that his saliva would help numb it and most likely will make it heal faster.
While he was doing this, you watched with careful and curious eyes, looking at his muscles. How his lips parted or he bit his bottom lip when he was deciding what would hurt you or not. His focused dark romantic brown eyes, the fluff jet black hair with curtain bangs. The length could be pulled back into a ponytail, a small one but it's still a ponytail. The freckles that dotted his skin, the tan skin that seemed to be the perfect shade. Each freckle was so kissable, like they were drawing you to kiss each and every one of them. You couldn't really deny it anymore, Ace was a very dreamy man, he seemed perfect.
You were so tired that you simply didn't care anymore about your actions. So, you just opened your arms and pulled Ace into your chest. Softly petting his head and just humming, feeling his face heat through your shirt. But you just didn't care, Ace took care of you, yeah sure he did have his bad moments. But his watery eyes and the tone and shaky voice of his apologizes made up for it.
Law never did that.
He would just tell you suck it up or be careful next time while roughly fixing your injury.
But Ace was different, he was so kind and gentle not only that but loving. The trauma was there you could tell by how he reacted when being called a good boy. Like he was never praised as a child, or maybe trying to prove himself that he was different. But either way, out of every supernatural creature that's been written Ace was the best one to exist. He was the goodest boy ever. And you wouldn't trade him for the world.
"Thank you," you whispered before letting your eyes close and rest.
Ace sat there, face in your chest, eyes wide, face hot and red, you were hugging him but why? He hurt you. It's a wonder why you even let him touch you, to let him look at the wounds he gave you. Tears started to form but he held them back, you trusted him, you thanked him. Ace needed to be strong for you, you are the first human being not to hate him. Most likely the only one too, no one could and can be compared to you and the kindness you shared with him.
No one called him a good boy, even in dog form he wasn't called good boy. So he was your good boy, and he would make sure that it stayed that way. He waited until you were fully asleep until getting out of the embrace, leaning you back and continuing on. Making sure to be extra careful to them. Softly rubbing little bruises and knots that he felt, heating his hands up a bit to help. Once everything was good and bandaged up he started to put thing away and clean the area. You couldn't do it and he won't let you. Putting the snacks in a safe place, the was the only food the both of you really had. So Ace would have to go hunt for deer in order to get meat and he was pretty sure there were some wild vegetables out there.
Going down the hall dusting the walls then going back and sweeping everything up. Opening the bathroom door and turning the lights on, surprised by how they still worked and how bright they still were. But ignoring that he got to work on the bathroom, cleaning the skin and the toilet. Trying not to gag from the smell that it let out into the air, holding his breath as he tried to really clean it. Standing up and walking away quickly to take big breaths of fresh air before going back in. He did this until it didn't stink so bad, then next was the bathtub, it wasn't that bad but still. He got down on his knees and began to work on it, sometimes he stopped to try and see if you made any noise of discomfort or pain. But it seemed to be good so he continued on cleaning until the bathroom was as clean as could be.
Who knew Ace was good at cleaning. He certainly didn't know that and he certainly didn't expect it either. He then moved on to the one bedroom which was the master bedroom. But it was the only bedroom in the house, there was no doubt that he would give you the bed. And as he stood there thinking about it, it came to his mind that you had a spare bedroom. He could of taken the spare bedroom instead of sleeping on that uncomfortable couch. But despite that he didn't care, you were the one in charge here, not him.
Removing the blanket and dusting it off until Ace didn't sneeze anymore so that way you could have it. Folding it up and walking back into the living room where you were still resting. Curling up with a dusty pillow, oh no. Ace grabbed the pillow and took it out of your hold, and of course you fought for it back until it was replaced by a section of the blanket. Watching you get all cuddly and up in a nice little ball made him happy. Softly patting you head before returning to the room to clean it then move you into it so he could fully clean the living room. Dusting everything off first and grabbing any mice that ran out, throwing them out at full force through the door. He didn't care what happened to them, if they lived, broke their bones, or became flat from hitting a tree or stone.
The little side house now belonged to him and you, so there was no room for little rodents. Hell you might of been scared of rodent so it was a extra good thing that he got rid of them. Being all proud for each one that he caught and threw out, even a big fat one that he definitely heard splat against something. Dusting the pillows off outside and setting them aside so that way he could change the sheets for you. He didn't want anything nasty to get in the wounds, but as he thought about it, the wounds were more likely to get infected in this house. So maybe it wasn't a good idea to bring you here after all, now he was going to feel extra guilty and he was going to go over the house twice. Making sure to get everything cleaned, every nook and cranny.
Ace wasn't going to risk it, he was a good boy, he needed to be a good boy. That's what his mind told him, he needed to prove he's still a good boy and will always be a good boy. It needed to happen, so he went through the bedroom to clean it three times before he finally decided that it was good and safe enough. After getting a new nice sheet and struggling to get it on the bed (like the most of us) but he finally got it. Fluffing the pillows up and getting them into a nice comfortable looking angle for you. When everything was good he came back to your sleeping body, staring at your cute sleeping face. It warmed his heart. Kneeling down and sliding his arms under your body, carefully lifting you up with the blanket still wrapped around your body. Head now resting on his should and cold fingers touching his warm skin. Walking down the hall and make the turn to the bedroom, taking notice if the way you mumbled in your sleep. Adorable, absolutely adorable. It made a smile creep up on his face as his eyes softened.
Sliding through the door and being smart about where to step because of the squeaky floor. When he succeed he was so proud of himself and he had a little celebration but it didn't last long because you started to whimper. Shifting his arms and your body to a more comfortable position as he quickly walked over to the bed and sat you down. Being as soft as possible to not disturb you as your slumber. Fixing the cover to fully cover you and watching as your body shifted to cuddling with a pillow again. God your ere going to kill him one day. Unlike you that had admitted it, he was still in denial, there was no way a human like you could love him. Especially with the immediate penalty if death, like Oden, as Izou told him. How he died was terrible, Ace didn't want that to happen to you.
Besides, you deserved someone better, someone that wouldn't hurt you. Someone who could protect you as good as he does and takes care of you ten times more better than he could ever. He turned to leave but a whimper stoped him, a few words were mumbled and he couldn't make them out. But as he got further and further the louder you whimpered and the longer. You didn't want him to leave. But he had to clean, had to hunt, he couldn't stay here, but the whimpering was getting to him. Trying to ignore it, fight against it but the one thing settled it. The thing you mumbled that he could make out and made him stay.
"Please, hold me. . ." You softly said. It broke his heart, turning to you he just caved in.
First thing he would do once he got up would go and clean the rest of the house along with extra rounds. Then go and hunt something, a rabbit, deer, Racoon, anything to get for breakfast and hopefully he could find some kind of vegetable for you. He would skin it and cut it up like Thatch showed him too just in case if he was ever stuck. Find a tree and take it down in order to then chop it up into fire wood because it was going to get cold from mud and stuff. Hell he may be able to make homemade candles somehow so that way it won't smell as shitty as it is.
Turning around he softly walked over and around the bed to the other side. Lifting the cover and getting under it, unsure about whether he should actually hold you or not. You asked him too but he wasn't sure, what if you were just dreaming about some handsome dude from a book or movie. Then it will be awkward when you wake to him holding you, he didn't want you uncomfortable. He knew he shifted while asleep, maybe you did too so maybe your body will go into his. He wasn't sure, but if you were whimpering, then he wasn't going anywhere. He needed to prove he was a good man boy.

Anime boys that I just know have a happy trail
Portgas D. Ace
It's literally mentioned in my fanfic Dancing In The Rain
It doesn't matter how many times he shows up in One Piece without a happy trail, he has one, there is no denying it
I do have a feeling that he would shave it though but with a little love and perseverance he could and will most likely keep it
Just imagine Ace on the deck of the Moby Dick doing heavy chores like carrying heavy boxes around and just sweating
Drops of sweat rolls down his chest and down to his lower abdomen and some even get stuck on the happy trail like how water gets stuck on a web
No one can convince me otherwise
Shanks
Nothing
In the history of anything
Could convince me
The first time I laid my eyes on this man's stubble face
Nothing screamed louder than "happy trail!"
This man is literally built for one, he has the body for one
I have a feeling he probably has bigger titties than Zoro
And you're going to tell me he doesn't have a happy trail!?
You must be smoking something because there is no way
I refuse to believe
He can most likely use it to seduce woman, I have no doubt that he does
Trafalgar Law
Man probably shaves it
Either that or it's trimmed very close to the skin where it seems like a stubble just starting to form
He looks a emo teen that never grew up in pre time skip and and with how teens look now with the full in fucking beard this man had to of had a nice happy trail at some point
He had to of kept it pre time skip but during those two years he must of been sniffing something while making medicine or something to get the feeling to shake it
All that I know, is that his S/O will have to beg for him not to shave it
Red Dead Redemption
Every man in this game has a happy trail, unless your Trelawny or the Italian man that took Jack, or most of the men in Saint Denis
Miche
I really don't think I need to uhm
Explain this but I have a feeling I have too
Not only am I convinced that he has a happy trail, but he also has chest hair
And that chest hair thins out into a line that forms into a happy trail all the way down his stomach and to his lower abdomen
Like I said, I feel l need to explain very much or anything at all so there you go
Carlos Oliveira
Have you seen this man
For those of you that have not
He literally has the hair of a fluffy and shaggy dog
He has the facial hair of what you would expect from a modern nice dog man in the west or maybe in the mountains wearing a flannel over a normal shirt
To add too it it's most likely a sleeveless flannel
Hell he's probably more of a mountain man that a western man
But anyways!
There is a literal mod for RE3 remake of his shirtless and not only does he have chest hair
But it also thins out like Miche's does into a happy trail down his stomach and lower abdomen
Just like Shanks and hell Miche too, he screams happy trail
But unlike the rest he gets his caught on a belt whenever he wears one
And he looks like he has a dog boy personality and in fact he has one so he does whine
Yomo Renji
Another one that screams happy trail
He has a stubble in his chin
If I remember correctly and you can fact check me on this
Ghouls aren't known to grow facial hair, so the fact that he has a stubble
It could mean he could have a happy trail
He has the body for one

Chapter 14
WARNING ⚠️: BLOOD
Pain
That's all you could feel, pain, not just normal pain, it felt like you touched a hot pan on the stove. You raised the chef knife up and stabbed the man. Screaming up and crying, you stabbed him anywhere you could but he didn't budge. Thrashing around only made the man's nails dig into your skin, making you scream even more.
"Let me go! Let me go let me go let me go!" You yelled, tears flowing dow your cheeks. It seemed that the man only bit harder, growling loudly as he also held you tighter, "No! Let me go!"
It seemed like he was getting tired of your cries because his nails dug further into your skin. They pierced your skin, making that area burn as well. You only cried louder if that was even possible. Lifting the large knife up and then, with all of your might, you stabbed him near his neck. A loud, a very loud growl left him. The man pulled away, blood covered his lips, they were curled back in a snarl.
His fangs.
God damn fangs.
They were in the area that the canine teeth would be, but so much sharped and a bit longer. His eyes burned with anger, a vein on his forehead. But those fangs, they scared you. Raising the knife again to go for his throat, but you were harshly shoved. Hitting the wall and yelping I'm pain, tears were making your vision blurry.
"Why? Why are you doing this!? You stupid fucking crazy cannibal! You're a damn monster! Get away from me! Get awa-" the man lunged at you, this time biting your shoulder.
You screamed and cried as much as possible, thrashing around and kicking him. His fangs sunk deeper, he tried tearing your skin off, the burning, it was so bad.
"Please! Have mercy!" You cried, begging, pleading. Your nails clawing at his arm.
But you didn't get any, as seconds ticked by, the more blood you lost, the darker your vision. When he pulled away for the second time he stared at you, your teared up face, crying. Those dark eyes seemed to go from black to soft chocolate brown, mouth slowly closed. But then his head jerked, that glint of hope that you saw was gone when that blood covered nose was pressed against you. Sniffing you, sniffing every inch until he growled once again very loudly. Not any words could stop him, mouth opened as the teeth sunk in. On your wrist. A place where a vein could open up, you could die right here, you didn't want to cry. But as more seconds passed the darker and darker your vision got, until you passed out.
Ace growled as he sucked on your blood, the chemical tase of Law in your blood made him sick. But the thought of Law having you, his smell being all over you, no, NO! The werewolf didn't care at the moment, mind was over taken by the possessiveness of his alpha side. The smell of another male made it come out. He wasn't going to stop until every spot that spot that scented like that bastard was replaced by his. Then after that the area will smell like him, he didn't care, he didn't care for your cries or your begging. Not even when you went limo.
Moving from your wrist to your upper arm, taking another bite, sucking the chemical tasting blood. Not pulling away until the taste was fully gone, after that he just left you there. Walking outside as rain started to pour down, but he didn't care, as long as that smell was here. He wasn't going to rest until it was all gone, clawing the trees and clawing at himself to spill blood along a line. A long across your house in a circle, a very large circle, clawing at all the trees. Making sure that his scent was all over the area, going three rounds around the house until he stood there. His sanity coming back, and when it did, his body froze in fear.
The cold rain made it worse, the taste and smell of your blood, the taste of your blood in HIS mouth. It made his heart drop as his body rushed into the house, hitting the corners and slamming into things. Throwing himself into your room and standing in front of your limp body against the wall. Blood came out of the bites, HIS bites. His teeth marks. His scent. Tears started to form in those dark brown eyes.
"No no no no no no," he repeated, holding you and staring at the bites. If he hit the places, you could go through a painful process that you are most likely to die. He needed to get it out, but he didn't want to taste anymore of your blood. The guilt was heavy, but the percentage of you dying, he would have to. Swallowing the lump in the Werewolf's throat before he started to lick the bite marks.
His years of not eating humans made it hard for him to take the taste in, trying hard to hold the gagging back. But just the thought of you calling him a good boy, to get your praises, he would do anything. It would pain him to hear you scream at him, calling him a monster, and evil creature. But, you had to forgive him, you just had to, for some reason, the thought of you pushing him away made him very sad. Just like Isuka had done to him a long time ago.
The saliva would numb the wounds and would make them heal quickly, making sure to lick them multiple times. To go around multiple times, hoping that his fangs didn't hit any nervous system or a vein. Once all the wounds stopped bleeding, Ace covered them up, then held you. Fearing that if he left you alone then Law would come back, that maybe hunters would come get you. You saved him, so he was going to save you, or protect you. You were so kind to him, even when he snapped and growled, you gave him food and a home. Something not many people have done, they just tired of him and kicked him out, Pops didn't. But something about you just made him trust you quicker than any other human he's met.
After a while, the smell of your blood got to him, made him feeling even more guilty than before. Words ran through his mind about how you would react. Do you ever remember him? Will you call the cops? Will you shoot him or stab him again? Fucking hell you were on the cold ass fucking floor. Ace stood up, very carefully holding you and very carefully walking over to your bed. Laying you down softly and tried to make the bed as comfortable as possible, using all the blankets and pillows. He even turned the TV off so that way it wouldn't disturb you, the time that you were so scared that you thought he was joking about zombies being real. How you had fear in your eyes. He didn't want that to happen again. After Ace made sure you were comfortable, he went into a corner and curled up. Hugging his knees to his chest and head down, staying alert for anything. But it seems the drug wasn't fully gone, so, as it hit him once again, he fell asleep.
~~
The sound of things being broken, growls, pain, fear, nothing. Then fear, cold, pain, more cold, then warmth, but fear that shook you too the bone. Comfort and warmth, but fear and embarrassment, confusion. Worry and plans, panicking, but comfort. Warmth and comfort, that's what you felt for a while, but then, love? But more fear, pain, blackness. Ace.
Your eyes flew open as you body jolted up, looking around in a cold sweat, taking the look fo the room in. There was a heater that was on, snacks on your bed, the Xbox controller. Resident Evil:Welcome To Racoon City DVD thing, the window was open, so many blankets and pillows.
Ace.
Grabbing your head as you tried to think, it was all a blur, it was so hard to think straight. It felt as if your mind was splitting in two, like you have been stabbed in at least 6 places of your body. A stinging and burning pain, like you had a very bad flu, god it hurt so much. Closing your eyes as you groaned loudly, trying to remember, but all you could feel was the emotions of whatever happened. Fear, love, calmness, terror, heartache, then nothing. It all came crashing down on you, along with the pain, whining loudly and whimpering.
Opening your eyes and looking around the room some you, your eyes landing on a familiar figure.
Ace.
The the pain really started, of all the things that happened, all the pain, all the emotions. All of it. It made you cry out, thrashing as tears fell from your eyes, you could barely hear the werewolf coming to your side. The feeling of warm hands that engulfed your face, the way it warmed your whole body, how it eased the pain. Tears blinded your vision as you opened them, looking up at the werewolf. He was here, here with you.
Those people didn't take him, he wasn't hurt. The feeling of his warm hands, the feeling of actual warmth, it wasn't cold. The smell that warmed the insides of your body once you took deep breaths. It made all the pain go away, the pain of those bites that you got during the night, the pain when your oke up on the floor.
"Ace-"
Almost immediately he shot up and left, leaving you alone, in the bed.
"Ace!" You called, throwing the blanket over and standing up, fast, too fast. You got hit with dizziness and fell, yelping in pain, you never got dizzy when you stood up to fast. You never had iron deficiency. So it confused you, but when you saw your wrist, the night came back. Someone was biting you, sucking your blood, feeling around to find more cloths and more areas in pain. The area where that man bit you. But why was Ace acting strange, why did he get up like that? Why did he leave you like that? Knowing him he would have stayed, he would have stayed here as helped you.
"Ace!? Come here!" You called, whimpering a little, no response. Standing yourself up and walking out of the room, leaning on the wall as you made your way to the living room. Passing the bathroom you noticed yourself in the mirror, the dark but somewhat lit mirror. Stumbling into the bathroom and turning the lights on, you were surprised in your own horror.
Your skin, it wasn't it's usual color, it was pale, sickly grey pale, cheeks were a bit sunken in. Eyebags we're darker than normal, the cloth that was wrapped around your neck. But it was mostly on the connection of your neck and shoulder, it was also dark red as well. Your shirt had bite marks in it, it was ripped, claw marks. The bottom half of your shirt had spots of blood, holes in the middle of the blood dots. When you lifted it up there were puncture marks, from nails. Sharp ass nails. Looking at the other cloths and making note that they weren't as red as the one on your neck. When you touched it again, it all came back.
How Ace lunged at you, his fangs digging into your skin, clawing at the skin to keep you closer. His growls and snarls, he had no shine in his eyes, they were dark, blood covering his lips and chin. Just the thought along made you fall to your knees in fear. Did he really? No. No! He couldn't! He's never hurt you, yeah sure he chased you in freezing cold rain and thorns. But physically he has never hurt you. Soft sobs drew your attention to the living room, slowly walking over towards the sound. Turning the corner, you saw Ace curled up, shaking and hiccuping. He saw, crying.
"I didn't mean too. I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me, I'm sorry," he whispered. Curling up more if it was possible, despite what happened and what he did. The tone of his voice told you that he was really sorry, that he didn't mean too.
Stumbling over to him, seeing him flinch and scoot away from you.
"Ace-"
"Get away, I don't want to do it again. If his smell is still on you somewhat then I'll do it again. I don't want to!"
His scent? What did he mean? Then you remembered, Law. Ace seemed to have a hatred for Law. Didn't he mention that Law was a vampire, if so, then it would make sense that he would be the one to feed on you. From horror movie prospective, werewolves, or lycans, they always hated vampires, there was always a wat between them. There never seemed any peace, if it was true, then it was in Ace's nature.
Stumbling closer and too the point where you were next to him, he tried to scoot away but you wouldn't let him. Trying to get him to look at you, but he went against your hand.you got tired of it and just grabbed him by his chin and forced him to look at you, those pretty brown eyes were watery. He looked like a kicked puppy, like he was just nipped at by a parent or yelled at.
"Ace, you said you didn't mean to. And I believe you, I was confused and terrified but then I remembered that you told me about Law. How he was a vampire or could be and as far as I know werewolves and vampires hate each other. I can't imagine the hatred you must of felt every time you smelt him. I don't know enough about supernatural creatures and how it all works, but I can't blame you," you said softly, watching as he shifted his eyes, "Ace."
This time he actually looked at you.
"I'm glad you're safe and back, you have no idea how fucking cold this god damn place was! Like seriously!" You said, a little pout on your lips, "it felt so empty and eerie, even when I breathed I could smell the cold on the air!"
The werewolf couldn't help but chuckle at your complaining.
"My feet felt like fucking ice! You are no longer allowed to leave the house unless I'm with you!" You whimpered cuddling up to him, "I don't know why you're so warm but I'm thankful for it!"
"It's because some supernatural creatures, or most, have powers. I have, fire like powers," Ace said, rubbing his eyes.
"Well stay with me then! I'm going to need you when winter comes. Especially too my car for work and into the house from work."
The werewolf froze.
"About that," you looked up at him, "we may need to move somewhere, the hunters may come back for you or they may look for me. So we need to move sometime quickly, I'm afraid you can't work at your job anymore. I know a old cabin house, not as fancy as yours but it's nice deeper in the woods. Far far away from the town, it may take about," Ace thought for a second, "5 or 6 hours?"
"5 or 6 hours!?" You yelled, "Not only am I in danger from some bitch to took my memories by a punch! But I need to leave!?"
Ace nodded, wincing a bit at your yelling.
"It's for safety. I'd rather hide out that stay here and risk the both of our lives. Plus we may not have to deal with the black haired bat fucker," he growled.
You sighed thinking about it, it would be safer. But you would be leaving everything behind, Isuka, Shanks, Benn, your job. It was going to be hard, but the thought of strong people that can easily kill you, hunting you down. You'd rather live in peace.
"Alright, when should we leave?"
~~
"Well?"
"Nothing, it looks like barely anything has moved, it looks the same. The sweatpants have been taken, I'm not sure how many clothes Y/N has."
"Are you are they said 'Ace'?"
"Yes."
"Well then, this is a bigger problem that must be solved immediately. Isuka."
"Yes Kizaru?" The orange haired girl replied.
"Try to go find the poor human being and the little puppy, if you do it then the hunters may see you differently." The tall man in a yellow striped suit said.
"Yes sir."
~~
"Why did you put that stuff on again?" Ace asked, looking at you with his head tilted to the side.
"Because it's my skin tone, if people were to see a sickly pale person that's stumbling around then they would call the hospital. So until I get normal then I'm going to have to wear foundation to hide my gray sick skin," you hummed, slowing down to make a turn.
You both packed food, a lot of food and drinks. And not wanting to rise suspicion too much you only took some clothes. Before leaving you called Shanks and told him to tell the boss that you quit. Not giving him any reason or a say. Just called hi,m told him the news, then hung up on him. Turning off your location and deleting every app that needs your location before leaving.
The car was on a back road, following Ace's directions, but you heavily doubting that he knew the directions. But you hoped he was right, the plan was too hide away and most likely disappear sometime. From what Ace had said, a hunter doesn't stop until their task was complete, and that is when the creature is killed. So you may have to hide out for the rest of your guys's lives, you asked him if he had any family that was like him. You saw him tense up and he didn't say anything, just shook his head and held it low. You being you, you didn't like the look of him being sad so your put a video on through the speaker of a podcast. Distractible, the podcast of Mark, Bob, and Wade, he really liked it.
In the distance there was a gas station, looking down at gas thing, it was surprisingly low. Slowing down and turning into the gas station, parking next to one of. Unbuckling the seatbelt and getting out to get the gas, thankfully it had the decision to pay outside or inside. But you planned on paying inside so that way you can get some drinks and a couple of snacks. You leaned against your car, watching as the numbers go up until you quickly let go of the trigger. Celebrating the success of getting on a even number, shaking it a little and putting it back. You opened the car door.
"Hey Ace, I'm going to go inside to pay for the gas and get some snacks along with drinks. Be a good boy and don't run off!" You said. Ace quickly nodded with a smile.
You smiled back and closed the door, walking on in, and to your happy surprise, there was a ATM. So you made a decision to pay for everything then use the ATM, the police could track it. And they could also track your car with the licenses plate, but if you could get in and out. You walked in and looked around first, grabbing some sweets, a couple of donuts, beef jerky for Ace, a lot of it actually. Next you grabbed drinks and even a tall cup of hot coffee, happy that they had white chocolate and raspberry flavoring. When you walked up to the counter and set the stuff down, a young adult by the looks of it was checking you out. Your stuff, and you, by the looks he was 18.
"Is that all for you today?"
"Uhm no, I put gas in my car, number 5. Please," you hummed, putting your card in to pay for everything.
He hummed as you paid, when you got done.
"Would you like some bags?" He asked.
"Yes please!" You smiled.
He got some bags and out the things in it except your hit cup of coffee.
"Do you need any help taking them to your car? I can help you," he said.
"Oh, no thank you. I'm good. If anything I have a, a uhm," his eyes were creeping you out. You could feel them roam your body, you had to say something, something that would make him stop, "my boyfriend can help me."
You quickly said, sweating a bit as you watched his expression change. He just grumbled and handed you the bags, not saying anything as you left. Quickly walking out and setting the things down to use the ATM. After a little bit you heard footsteps, and you thought it was the man but thankfully it was just Ace.
"Didn't I tell you to not run off?" You joked.
"You looked like I needed help, plus it looked like you were sweating a bit. Are you alright, are you hot?" Ace asked, tilting his head a bit as he picked the bags up.
"Ah, just the man at the counter was being creepy. But don't worry, he won't bother me, or, us," you said, collecting all the money. You had some troubles but soon enough you got all the money out of your bank account and credit card, "okay, we're all good to go!"
Ace smiled sweetly and carried all the bags to the car while you held your coffee and hid the money. Turning the car on once more and turning the podcast on for some background noises you guys were on the road again. There were light chuckles between the two of you with the podcast, but it was interrupted by Isuka calling you.
The mood in the call shifted, it went from happy and relaxing to nervousness and anxiety. But it weren't you, you loved Isuka like a sister, but Ace, he seemed tense. Something you've never noticed before, hm, weird. You were about to press the button to answer but Ace grabbed your wrist all of sudden and pulled it back.
"Ace!? What the hell are you doing!?" You yelled, slowing the car down and moving it to the side of road. Turning to look at him you saw the look in his eyes. They seemed to be filled with sorrow and anger, he just shook his head no.
"Let it ring, don't answer any of her calls. She's not who you think she is," was all that Ace said. You were confused, did Ace know fully know her? Did they used to be friends whenever he was in human form? Did he always tense up whenever she was around?
You trusted Ace, so speeding up and continuing to drive, hearing Isuka's voice mail. But you just ignored it, if Ace said no, then it was probably for a good reason.

Never in my life would I have to think that I would need to use the rdr2 map when you get the disk game for something. I always trusted my instincts but for a certain mind mission of mine and I didn't have that side of the map discovered. So I stood up and looked at my map and then took off of my wall and used it as an actual map.

Werewolf!Ace x GN!Reader
Chapter 13
WARNING ⚠️: Involves blood!
"What do you want me to do?"
"I want you to help me regain a human beings memories."
"Are you fucking kidding me Shanks?" Whitey Bay growled, "A human being?"
"Yes," Shanks said, sitting in the chair as he looked at the witch, "I know it sounds strange but-"
"Strange!? It sounds illegal! Out of everything you could have asked me, you asked me to try and get a human being's memories back to them!? Are you out of your fucking mind? And for what, don't tell me that you love this person!" She said.
"No, I don't. But I know them very well. And to think that they lost their memories and forgot one of Whitebeard's son as their pet dog. It makes me very worried," he said, watching as the woman's facial expression changed.
"WHAT!? YOU'RE FUCKING TELLING ME THAT ONE OF WHITEBEARD'S BOYS ARE A FUCKING PET DOG!?" She yelled, clearly upset, "Does he know about this!?"
Shanks shook his head no.
"Oh. Oh. So not only am I doing something illegal by supernatural laws. But Whitebeard doesn't know that one of his son's is a fucking pet dog! Do you realize how pissed he is going to be when he finds out!? You know how strict he is to that sort of thing!"
"He hasn't left them, and knowing Ace, he most likely doesn't want to leave. He fought Trafalgar Law because he was talking bad about them," Shanks tried to reason, "do you know how long it's been since a werewolf and a vampire have fought each other?"
Whitey Bay stood still.
"Not for at least 20 decades. Trust me, I would usually deal with it myself, but when it comes to Roger's boy. I can't," the red haired werewolf looked at the ground, "I know Roger would want what's best for him, and coming from a werewolf who's loved a human. I know what it's like. What it's like to get the urge to protect them, you'd do anything to get any sort of affection from them."
He looked up the at the blue haired witch that stood there with wide eyes.
"So please, help me out here."
There was a couple minutes of silence.
"I'll see what I can do," she said, sighing as she turned to her table, "but if Whitebeard finds out, I'm putting the blame on you."
Shanks chuckled.
"Fine with me," he stood up from the chair and left the log cabin house. Walking down the dirt path of the woods, thinking to himself as he did so, "I hope I'm doing something right Roger."
Meanwhile, in the cabin with the witch, she looked through her books. Trying to find something to help with memory loss, especially with werewolves. Looking through each page one by one, paragraph by paragraph, sentence by sentence, word by word. Until she came by something very interesting.
'When it comes to a human's memories being taken for finding a werewolf it can be very different for the situation. If it's just a glance then they will most likely forget it for the rest of their lives. If they've known each other long enough to to be friends, it can be a little easier. When it comes down to good friends, there's a very much higher chance of their memories coming back. The last thing is that if there ever is any chance that one of them loves the other, or they both love each other, the werewolf would have to bite them in a certain area. It depends on the person, but very rare chance, it'll be where the scent glands would be if the person was a werewolf. Which would mark them as mates'
Whitey Bay groaned. This wasn't good, if Shanks was right and they were very good friends or if Ace really loved you. It was a very low chance, but it was still a chance. And it would make the both of you in more danger, more danger than before. And it would also make Whitebeard much more angry than he would originally be if he knew about it before all this mess.
"God damnit. This is going to be a trip."
~~
Your body shivered under the blanket as you sat in front of the newly bought heater. It was still so cold, you were warming up but slowly, a hot cup of hot chocolate in your hands. You made plans to call someone to check on your heating system. Markiplier played in the background to try and fix the empty and too silent problem. Thick fluffy socks were on your feet to try and get rid of the freezing ass no reason of why feet have to be so cold that was biting at your core. Isuka had stopped by with some food for you, she stayed over for a bit, but then questioned you about whoever the hell Ace was. You have no idea why you said he was a old friend, or why you had to come up with something so quickly.
Rubbing your eyes and yawning as you looked at the time, you got to clock out early. Which you oh so happily took, enjoying being curled up. Giving you time to think or just space out, yawning every know and again. Taking sips of your hot chocolate to enjoy the warm liquid as it went down your throat and warmed your body. But sadly only for a little bit, but luckily you got a large cup so you could enjoy a lot of it. As you took a large sip, you got the feeling that someone was watching you.
Looking at your covered windows, trying to look for some kind of shadow, but there wasn't. Pulling the blanket closer and scooting closer to the heater, trying to get heated up faster so you can go get some kind of weapon. Taking larger sips, ignoring the burning on your tongue. While doing so you thought about what Shanks had said, about a dog. If you really did have a dog then there would be a water and food bowl, there wasn't any dog shampoo. There also wasn't a bed for said dog to sleep in. It didn't make any sense.
Turning the TV off and unplugging the heater and moved it into your room, plugging it up and putting it on the highest setting. Finishing your hit chocolate bad putting the cup in the dishwasher. Grabbing a couple of knives and making sure to lock every window and door. Once everything felt safer you got settled to sleep. It was still early, 6:48, but going to bed early wouldn't hurt, you were tired anyways. Locking your door and getting settled in bed, you had to get multiple blankets just to feel warm. You played some games on your phone to try and make yourself extra tired so that way you wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night. Once you were tired enough, making sure the phone was on the charger.
Curled up under the blankets, staring at the wall, very slowly closing your eyes. Slowly, you fell into a nice deep slumber, finally feeling warm since you've woken up.
~~
A soft painful groan left you, that pain that came from the area that's been hurting since highschool. But only this time the pain was worse, but it was like you couldn't wake up. You couldn't open your eyes. It felt as if something was restraining you from moving, it was like sleep paralysis. But only you couldn't see.
You swore you heard a moan, the sort of moan when you taste something really good. It was deep and scratchy, muffled even, it felt as if something was punctured into that area that's in pain. But then it left, the pain stopped and you were relieved. A soft sigh leaving you as you tried to go back to sleep, but you didn't get the chance. Something with sharp fangs bit your shoulder, soft slurping noises and quiet muffled moans that made you question if you even heard them at all. The pain in your shoulder left again, and this time it moved to your other shoulder. Your body jolted in response to the bite, like a large mosquito was sucking at your blood. But you hoped it was a dream, just thinking about a large ass mosquito looming over you and sucking your blood.
Your body shivered just at the thought, but you came to the conclusion that it was just a dream. So you slowly fell back asleep, the pain dulling.
~~
The next morning, you woke up to a text from your boss saying that since apparently yesterday was supposed to be my day off that today would be my day off. Huffing and looking at the clock on your phone, 5:56 in the damn morning. Groaning as you set your phone back down on the nightstand and laid in the bed for some time. Staring up at the ceiling, blinking slowly as the time ticked by, breathing slowly and calmly. When the sign of sunlight peaked through the curtains a little you got up. But groaning in pain as you did so.
Stretching your limbs and loosening all the knots and popping your bones. A sudden shiver ran up your spine, quickly getting the blankets and wrapping them around your body. Looking over to the heater you saw that it was off and unplugged.
"Damnit," your cursed. Shuffling over to it and plugging it back in before pressing the button and turning the heater on. Curling up under the blankets and in front of the heater. It was fucking spring, almost summer, why the hell was your house so fucking cold. Were you going crazy? You have no idea! But you do know that your house has never been this cold, not even as I child, not even when you were outside in the snow!
The heater did help you warm up, enough to dress into comfy winter like clothes. Ignoring the pain that slowly started to awaken, brushing it off because it was in the same area since highschool. Your plans were to grab some snacks and stay in your nice warm room. When you got the heater you also got a lot of food and for some reason, meat. A lot of it. It was weird, along with the fact that when you entered the house, you were expecting someone to greet you. But no one was there, just like it's always been. But you ignored it, just continuing on with the day and to where you were, cooking you breakfast and then grabbing snacks. You planned on watching the new Resident Evil, ready to fangirl over Leon and Chris. Of course you were a bit pissed that Leon looked more like Carlos than actual Leon, but it was okay.
Making yourself a large cup of hot chocolate as you added butter and powdered sugar to your homemade cinnamon toast. Watching as the butter melted and mixed with the powdered sugar. Grabbing the movie and food, bringing it all to your room, coming back in to clean the stove and the dishes. Humming softly as the sound of rain was muffled. It made you hum. Looking outside the window to confirm that it was indeed raining.
What a way to darken the mood, smiling brightly as you quickened your pace on cleaning the dishes. Setting them down to dry and then turning the lights off. For some reason you grabbed a large chef knife, holding it tightly as you checked all the windows and doors. Looking out your glass sliding doors, you noticed cracks, like someone slammed it shut waaay to hard. Running your fingers over it to try and see how thick it was, but while doing so a piece fell out and cut your middle finger. It felt like a paper cut.
And just like any person that got a paper cut or sliced their finger, you hissed and pulled your hand away. Checking it up close to make sure that there was no small glass shards in the cut. It wasn't too big and too thick, you would be fine. Making a note to call someone to replace it before it cracked anymore and most likely shattering.
Everything was locked, even the back door down the stairs, opening your door and meeting the amazing warmth. Turning your Xbox on and sticking the disk in, gremlin shuffling onto your bed. Getting nice and comfortable, you even grabbed extra pillows to get extra extra comfy.
You basically built yourself a little blanket and pillow fort on your bed. Despite how messy it looked, it was actually really comfortable and you felt...safe. But didn't you always feel safe in your home? Shaking the thoughts out of your head and focusing on the movie. It was horror movie time, it was raining and everything, the perfect time for a horror movie.
~~
Damnit, the room and halls are so dark. All of his senses weren't working correctly, how the hell was he supposed to get out of here?
Stumbling down the hall in the dark, his feet are cold along with the building. He found a pair of loose pants for him to wear, damn you for getting him into that. His brothers would force shirts on him but you somehow made it a habit for him to wear something.
Squinting his eyes as he stalked down the hall, turning corners and leaning against the wall. Ace felt really helpless and weak in this situation.
Whatever that damn crazy ugly clown scientist gave to him was terrible, he could easily figure his way out if he was normal. But it seems nothing came easy. When taking a small breath through his nose, the air was very icy, opening his mouth to see if it was just his sense of smell. It wasn't, the air was colder and icier, and as he walked more the stronger it got. There was a loud laughter that came from a large door, it was the fucking laughter of that stupid damn ugly clown. Softly growling and slowly making his way to the door to try and hear if he was saying anything important.
"I can't believe it Monet! The CP-0, paid me even though I didn't kill him! I gave them fake ashes and I have the real one, alive and drugged! I can't wait to test on him, I can possibly even make cross breeds and make a whole army of supernatural creatures!"
Ace's stomach turned.
"Mixing creatures with such a powerful werewolf, I don't think they'll survive. I could feel his power from here, how dangerous," the ladies voice surprised him. And by the sound, she licked her lips.
"Yes, it will be such a great experiment! Monet! If you wouldn't mind could you possibly be the first one!? A harpy and a werewolf, I wonder what such great power it will have!"
Ace's face turned and shifted into disgust. A harpy? Marco was the only harpy he really knew, and by the sound of this woman, she doesn't really sound like the nicest. And talking in such a way made him fucking sick.
In the corner of his eye he saw someone in a yellow suit, one person, perfect. Carefully and quickly stumbling towards him, if he threatened him enough then Ace could find a way out. And even maybe kill him and take his suit to make it easier. Turning the corner and following him, when there was a closet he grabbed the man and threw him in the closet. Closing the door and licking it, his nails grew long and sharp, fangs bared as he turned to the man.
"Where am I!?" He asked, grabbed the man harshly, bit digging his nails into the suit but squeezing hard enough to cut circulation off.
"Aah! Master!" He yelled. Ace grabbed him by the neck and asked him again.
"Where. Am. I!? What is the nearest exit. If you tell me I'll let you live," Ace growled loudly, fire slowly started to erupt from his fangs.
"Fine, fine! Continue going down the hall, turn right, go pass four doors, you turn is the hallway after the the four doors on the left, then a tight right. There's a door that leads out into the woods!" He said, voice shaking. Ace took the information in before growling and taking the man's mask off.
"Thank you, but I lied about letting you live. I can't trust you and I need your suit."
The man let a short scream out before it was muffled by blood, the teaing and ripping of skin. Claw and bite marks across the torn skin, using his anger to fully tear him apart. Once he was done, blood dripped from his mouth and nails, growling like a starved wolf that found food. He put the yellow suit on, Ace made sure not to get any blood on it so that way he could fit in better and not rise any suspension.
Unlocking the door and slightly opening it to see if anyone was in sight, thankfully no one was. Quietly closing the door behind him and holding the gun just like the man, he started to walk down the hall. Following the man's directions and hoping that he didn't run into anyone. Hell, Ace didn't even know where he fucking was, and his sense of smell and all of his other senses were off. All because of that damn drug.
The suit was stuffy, he didn't like wearing a shirt for that reason, but if he needed to get out of here, and back to you. He would most likely do anything. Ace wasn't going to admit that he was addicted to your praises and soft touches, how soft your voice was when you praised him. Warm soft hands that rubbed his head and barely messed up his hair. He was worried about you, if Law knew what happened to him, then you could be in some real danger. Ace didn't care if you saw, Ace will fight a vampire, his ancestors did years ago, he doesn't have any problem starting another war. He ember liked Law anyways, Luffy always saying that he was sa good friend and was his best friend. Luffy, such a sweet and wild child, Ace loved him and wondered how he was doing.
He turned down the hall and counted the doors on the left, they were sadly spread out quiet a ways. Trying to stay calm and not rush, if anything he could probably make a good lie if he was caught running. Maybe saying that some animal got in somehow and he was chasing it and trying to find it, yeah, that sounds believable. So, the werewolf started to run down the hall, turning down the hall that the man told him too. But his luck would have it, there was a group of the men and yellow suits, they all turned ad looked at him.
"Hey! What are you doing running around!? Did Master tell you to do something and he didn't tell us?"
Damnit, he needed to pretend to be out of breath. So he started panting.
"No...there's a stray cat that's in here," he continued to fake pant, "I caught the thing eating...something and then he ran off. I don't know which way he went though."
"You didn't tell Master!?"
"Well, no, I don't want him to maybe, worry. I wanted...to take care of it first."
"Well, we'll help you look. Men! Go that way! I'll be with him!"
Fucking great.
Ace would need to take care of this man quickly before taking the suit off and charging as fast and as long as he can. It was hard for him to see with the suit and the dizziness. The men ran away and Ace and the other man continued to run down the hall. He saw the tight right turn, he needed to go that way.
"I think I saw something go that way!" Ace pointed at the turn.
The other man just nodded and they both took the turn and ran for a while. It was dark but he could see a door at the end, his eye sight was starting to get better. They slowed down and stopped in front of the door, panting as they looked around, or the other man did. He was confused on why the hell they headed this way, if a cat really did come down this way. They would be able to see it.
"Are you sure you saw it come down this way?" The man just continued to talk on, but then it came to his mind. If the cat did go this way, the rest of the men would of been able to see it.
A low growl made him freeze. Slowly turning around as he turned to the angry werewolf, teeth bared, lips curled into a snarl. A vein on his forehead as his claws were long and sharp. Dried blood was on his lips and down his chin, claws were also covered in dried blood. He didn't have time to fire, his life was over as soon as he aimed the gun. Ace didn't care about the suit being bloody, he was going to run away. Getting up from the bloody body, blood was splattered on the floor and on Ace.
Turning to the door and throwing it open, not wasting any time to charge out. Stumbling but he got out, blood was rolling his chest, but he didn't care. Ace needed to find out where he was and how to get back to you. Running itno tree and scraping his skin, groaning in pain whenever he ran into a thorn bush. Cursing, now he knew how you felt whenever he was chasing you through the woods. Now he felt even worse about it, the more he ran, the more his energy drained, it usually did, but it was draining quickly. Even his senses drained, the world was getting dark, he tripped over a fallen tree and into a creek. It wasn't shallow, thankfully, but it still hurt him a bit. Getting up and continuing to run, trying his best to stay awake.
Thankfully, he made it to a road, not a highway, but aback road, and he almost got hit if the car didn't swerve.
"Oh my god! What the hell is- oh my god, sir are you okay!?" A female voice called out to him, it sounded a bit familiar. Standing in the road, he tiredly looked at the blue haired woman, blue clothes. She looked familiar, where had he seen here, maybe, Marco? "Come on, get in!"
She grabbed him and pushed him into the passenger seat, buckling him up and then pressed on the gas. Ace groaned as his head rolled around, trying to make sense of the area.
"Where are you from?" She asked, Ace just let out a low groan, she asked again, "sir, where are you from. Are you from around here?"
"N-No," Ace thought, then it hit, "Vile...Vile Ridge."
"Vile Ridge!? That's a wooden area!? His could you live there? There's no hospitals anywhere near there! I'm going to take you to the ne-"
"No!"
His sudden outburst surprised him and the lady.
"I'm just tired, there's a house, a fancy wood two story house, it's very fancy," he said, groaning.
"O-Okay, if you say so," she said.
Ace didn't have very much time left before he passed out, or went blind for a while.
"S-Sir! I'm here at the bridge?" Her voice was distant, but he woke up to it, feeling better than the last time. Looking around he found that she was right.
"Oh, thank you, sorry for falling asleep in your car. I'll pay you back some time," he thanked, standing up and getting out.
"Hey wait!" Ace paused, holding the door, "Are you, Ace? Portgas D. Ace, Shanks came to me and said something about a human. Something like that they lost their memories about their dog I'm guessing that's yo-"
"Are they okay!?" Ace suddenly yelled.
"Well, from what Shanks said, yes."
"Did anything happen to them since then!? Are they hurt!?"
"Well, I don't know. But listen to me!" She said, grabbed his arm, "I don't know how close you are but there is a chance of them getting their memories back. But, with how close Shanks said you two were, you would need too," the lady sighed, "you need to bite them. Something about your saliva having something in it for memories or numbing something."
The werewolf paused, taking the information in before nodding. Closing the door and taking a deep whiff of the air. Getting a nose full of Law's scent, and blood, your blood. Without hesitation he sprinted where the scent was coming from, growling as he ever did so. It wasn't strong, but it still smelt a bit fresh.
He was angry, to think that him being gone for like a day, a fucking day, and Law got ahold of you. When your house came into view, Law's scent was stronger, like he marked the place. That's probably why he went after you as soon as he probably heard about him disappearing, to Mar the area, and most likely marking you. That thought made him angry. He made his way to your door, trying to open it, it was locked, the glass sliding doors, locked, any windows, locked. But your bedroom window, Law most likely always got in through your window.
Grabbing the bottom and then pushing it up very quickly, pulling the curtains away and sat the the windowsill. His dark eyes locked onto your side and surprised ones, a horror movie played in the background.
He couldn't control himself, Law's scent, it was all over you, he marked you, a vampire marked you, while he was away, he marked you. His scent will always be on you, he couldn't control it, he had to, his fangs grew on their own along with his body.
A long scream, your scream echoed through the house and out the window.

So I was listening to the sad sea shanty Bones in the Ocean and I got to thinking. If I remember correctly, Marco said something about him being the last of the Whitebeard pirates. And Teach is still a big problem, so while the song was playing a sad and somewhat sweet theory came to my mind. What if Marco dies while taking down Teach, like he succeeds, but he dies as well. I don't know why, but I imagine it going like both of them going into the sea and Teach is really injured. So while Blackbeard is in pain and dying, sinking faster than Marco, he just, let's it happen. He looks up towards the surface and just, dies. Or maybe Teach maybe tries to destroy Pops's and Ace's graves and Marco fights him and he dies there in front of the graves.
It's a sad thought but what makes it sweet is that if Marco does die while taking Blackbeard down, Oda better make a scene where he reunites with the whole crew. He deserves it god damnit!

Dancing In The Rain
Werewolf!Ace x GN!Reader
Chapter 12
Damnit.
"Today on Vile Ridge news."
Damnit.
"Four males and two females found dead."
Damnit.
"The scene is too graphic to be shown on TV."
Damnit damnit.
"All of them had their necks ripped open."
Damnit.
Ace watched the news as you sat there with wide eyes, the four men were your coworkers. The creepy coworkers that showed up to your house early in the morning.
"It seems like they were dragged by some kind of animal."
Fuck.
Ace couldn't believe it, he didn't need the picture to imagine the scene. He could make a pretty good picture of it. Looking over to you, eyes were wide as one of your hands were over your mouth. They may of been creeps but they were still coworkers. Scooting closer to you, trying to make you relaxed and feel safe.
"Police have no evidence to prove that a animal did kill them, but questions do remain. What exactly were these people doing? Why did one car have a kill kit in it? Were they planning on kidnapping someone? No one knows for sure-"
Ace turned the TV off, he didn't want you to be scared anymore, it was bad that it was in town. Tilting his head to you, he could tell that you were trying hard not to cry in fear. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, taking in sounds of the nearest house that was also listening to the news.
The police recommended for families that lived on the outskirts to have some sort of weapon on them. Possible a gun. To take shelter and aim the weapon at wherever the creature was coming in from.
"A-Ace."
He opened his eyes.
"What killed them? Will it kill me? Can you defeat it? Is it to-"
The werewolf didn't let you finish, pulling your shaken and frightened body into his lap. Holding you as close as he possible could in a firm grip.
"I'm going to be honest, I don't know what killed them. But I promise you. It won't get you," he whispered, eyes focusing on the glass sliding doors, "if anything, the hunters might find it and kill it before it gets here. But if they don't, it'll never touch you."
Those words, it made you feel...safe. Like a baby being held by a mother during a storm. Cradling the crying child, shushing it, holding it close, rocking it, and singing to it. Taking a deep breath you tried to calm down. It seemed Ace took it very seriously, when you tilted your head up at him, his eyes were squinted. A flame in his stare, a snarl barely in his lips, claws grew long and sharp. He was being really protective about it, he was even cuddling you!? What the hell!? Why did you let him embrace you? Looking back up at him made you freeze a little. It was almost like something was about to attack at any minute. And you were kind of right. He tensed up and snarled loudly.
"Hunters."
"What?"
"Listen to me, from what I hear is that they're here because some of your coworkers told them about me as your dog. And they suspect me as one of the possible animals that killed them. Be calm, okay, I'll be on the verge of shifting just in case. Alright?" He whispered, you were so confused.
A loud bang filled the house as Ace darted down the hall, hearing his bones cracking and skin ripping. Putting some fuzzy socks on you walked to the door, trying to collect yourself before opening it. She you opened it, you were met with a tall black haired male, a bird on his shoulder.
"Uhm, how many I help you?"
"I'm here under the investigation of the deaths of your coworkers, some of them said you had a wolf dog as a pet. They also said that it seemed he snapped at one of them, and my team and boss believe that your so called 'pet' killed them. He needs to be out down." He said, coldly, that bird chirping in agreement. It seemed to be some kind of pigeon.
Stay calm.
"I-I'm sorry, but my dog was with me all night. He was right next to me when I fell asleep and when I woke up, there was no trace of blood on his fur anywhere," you tried to reason. Hearing the words 'out down' made you feel uneasy.
"I fine that hard to believe, especially when your 'dog' is the only thing that's related to something dangerous," a snotty female voice said. On your step was a blonde with glasses, cleavage on display. She looked like a whore.
"I promise you he isn't dangerous, yeah sure he growls at strangers but that's only at people who seem rude to me. Nothing else I promise you."
"Why do you seem so shaken up then?"
The man was now closer, face inches away from yours.
"I understand that hearing about the death of people you work with, but from how shaken up you seem. It looks like to me you know something you shouldn't," he pulled back, "I want to see the adoption papers of your 'dog' Ace please."
A past line that Ace told you about. Hunters. These two, no, these people were hunters, here to kill Ace and possibly you too. So you definitely needed to act cool.
Shifting your brows in confusion.
"Ace?"
"Yes, Ace."
"I think you have the wrong house then," you said, watching as the man with the ong square nose looked at you in shock.
"Your dog's name is Ace."
"No, I'm sorry, but you got it wrong," you shook your head, standing up to him a bit, "his name is Pyro, always has. It's on his collar."
That seemed to confuse them, nails clanked on the floor, you could feel the cold wet nose of 'Pyro'. All of a sudden the man leaned forward the snatched his collar, dragging the sable dog out.
"Pyro!" You yelled, but the lady held you back.
"He has to be put down and that being said we have to take him there ourselves."
"Hey you fucking bastard!"
"Settle down! If you don't then we'll do it ourselves. Now settle down!" The blonde girl said, pushing you back into the house as you watched the rectangle nosed man putting a muzzle on him. Watching he thrashed around, why wouldn't he transform.
You wanted to yell at him to tell him to shift, but something stopped you. The look he gave you when he thrashed towards you just told you, to just act like he was a normal dog. But when you were inside, the lady punched you in the stomach, your mind faded.
~~
The door slammed shut as the chain clanked, Ace growled as the other car doors opened the shut. He was in a cage with a damn muzzle on, a chain as a leash, and who knows what happened to you. These were definitely hunters. No doubt. If it were any other time he would shift and fought them, but in order to keep you safe he didn't.
"What'd you do with the person?" The black haired male asked.
"Knocked them out cold," she said, a smirk on her stupid face.
Ace growled, the bitch hurt you.
"Shut it back there!"
The car started up and they were off. The ride was silent, the tension in the air was thick and heavy. But when the car stopped, and the black haired man switched places with the rectangle nose guy, things got heated.
"Hey, werewolf. Tell me, what's your game here?" He asked.
Ace didn't respond, he was going to actually act like a dog.
"Hey, didn't you hear me."
"Maybe he is an actual dog."
A large bang made the man go silent, the black haired male punched the cage. Ace growled and snarled at him. The rest of the ride was just Ace and that man staring at each other, ready to attack.
When they arrived at the vet, after four hours of driving, four hours away from you. His cage was opened up, Ace growled and snarled at them but he was roughly grabbed by the collar. His paws scraped against the hot concrete, areas on his pads split open and started to bleed a little. He snarled, thrashed around, tried to make it seem believable that he really was just a normal dog. But it seemed that they didn't believe him.
Looking around it seemed they parked in the back, a man in a white long coat was holding a door open for them. He was with them, how disgusting. Dragging him into the building and down the hall, the cold white floor made him uncomfortable. They reached a door that once again, the black haired male opened, picking Ace up by the collar. It choked him, but thankfully not for long as he thrown into a cold metal table. Strapped down with leather, he wiggled around, trying to get free.
"There he is, we want him out down. There's a good possibility that he murdered a few people because he was kept as a pet."
"Ah, I see. Well then, I'll take good care of him, do you want his ashes?"
It took a few minutes before he answered.
"Yes."
It was cold, it made Ace feel very uncomfortable.
"Very well then, you can leave now." The vet ushered him out the door. Walking over to the counter to get some supplies out, he finally got a good look at the vet. Or more likely a scientist.
He had long purple black like hair, pale skin, a pale pink or purple white coat. A small laugh came from the man as he turned around, his face was worse. Purple lipstick and crazy eyes, the skin on his face seemed more purple compared to the rest of his body. God his face was so...ugly. That sinister large smile as he held a big syringe with a weird blue kind of liquid.
"How exciting! A wolf dog, brought to me! How kind Rob Lucci is, and to think that your a wild one too! I wonder if your a big bad werewolf, that could explain why you were so brutal!" He laughed coming closer, "well don't worry! I won't kill you, just yet, I want to experiment on you, see if you really are a werewolf. If so, then you can become my greatest creation yet!"
He was getting closer, Ace thrashed around as he tried to break free. That strange blue liquid, if he was some sort of mad scientist then he didn't trust it.
"Hold still! If you keep thrashing around then it'll hurt more for you, but, that won't mind for me. If it wasn't that your thrashing could ruin it all!" The scientist stood, before his smile got bigger and more sinister, "I'll use my new drug to calm you down! You'll become numb and fall right to sleep, that way you won't feel any pain and you won't risk my plans!"
He quickly ran back, grabbing another syringe filled with some maroon liquid. Those eyes that held evil thoughts, Ace couldn't do anything. As he got closer, holding him still as best as he could, the needle went into his neck, and it hit him almost immediately.
~~
You groaned, stomach ached, it felt like you've been hit by a damn truck. It was blurry, looking around, the cold floor making you shiver as you slowly sat up. How many times have you been injured in the last month? Way more than usual.
"Ace-"
"Who's Ace?"
Your eyes flying open as you looked up at Isuka, she held a blanket in her hand along with some pills. Shit, act cool.
"D-Did I say Ace?"
"Yes, you did. Who is Ace," her voice was cold as her eyes was showing some sort of emotion that you've never seen her have before.
You have to make a lie, quickly.
"O-Oh, he's an old friend of mine. He was in town and I was finally able to catch u-up to him," you groaned, trying your hardest to make it seem real.
"Really?" You nodded, "I guess that sounds like you," she hummed coming back to her old self. Kneeling next to you and wrapping the blanket around your cold body.
"How did you get in?" You asked, you usually always had the door locked.
"An extra key, plus you wouldn't answer any of my calls," Isuka huffed, cheeks puffed out.
You chuckled a bit but groaned, trying to ease the pain by rubbing at your belly. Eyes strained as you looked around, it looked so empty, like there was something missing. But what? You've always lived alone, so why would something be missing? And why doesn't it feel right? Maybe you overworked yourself or drank too much. And who the hell was Ace!? You've never known a Ace before, so why the hell did you call out for an Ace!? None of it makes sense.
"Y/N, try not to think too hard about why you were laying on the floor. You may get drunk again off of just thinking about it," the orange haired girl warned.
So you did drink too much, but when did you start drinking alcohol? Maybe it was your first time, you might of been overworked and couldn't sleep so you drank to try and help yourself? Damn.
"Here, let me help you to your bed," she said, lifting you up to the best of her ability, you followed. Stumbling of course, it felt like you have just been stabbed in the stomach, "there we go, easy does it."
As Isuka led you to your bedroom, you couldn't help but feel very uneasy. Like something was definitely missing, it was too quiet, too cold, even with the blanket on. It felt so...empty. And Isuka, the way she acted when you said that name, it was like she was after someone named Ace and needed information. But the worst part was when you entered the bedroom, that's when the cold really settled in. It chilled you to the bone, making your body shiver.
"What's wrong, are you seriously cold under that thick blanket?" You nodded, "well hopefully you'll be warmer in your bed."
You hope she was right. Lifting the thick covers up and settling down, even the sheets were missing something. As you laid down, it felt like someone or something was supposed to be there, with you.
"There, are you feeling warmer?"
You shook your head no.
"Well, give it some time. I'm sure you'll get warm eventually, now get some sleep and I'll pray that you'll be better the night time you wake up."
Something, about her smile, how her eyes didn't shine the way they used too. Almost like one of those spiders that somewhat looked like ants and tricked the ants into believing it. Then it would kill them. But maybe it was just your mind, but you were tired, and you did want some sleep. Getting a bit more comfortable, Isuka watched you, but left when everything seemed to be fine. But it wasn't, for some reason, it was too cold and creepy. How silent the house was, how dull it was, hell even the smell wasn't the same. But it could of been your drinking, you made a mental note to not ever drink again, and just cuddled one of your blankets. Dozing off to some somewhat peaceful sleep.
When you woke up, you felt better, much more better, there was only a slight bit of pain but not too much. Stretching your body and letting the bones pop and muscle and limbs wake up. Throwing the blanket over and standing up, a chill ran up your spine. Making you shiver, it was still so cold, but why? Making a mental note to check on the air conditioning later after taking a shower. A nice hot one that fogged up the bathroom and made it warm, that way you won't be freezing your ass off. Grabbing your work clothes and thick fluffy slippers to try and keep your feet warm.
As you walked down the hall your eyes wondered if, looking at the slight differences in the coloring. Looking at the floor to see dull scratch marks, the slight smell of cinnamon that was in your nose. It was very weird. Opening the bathroom door while turning the light on and closing it behind you when you walked in. A soft filled the air as you stripped, shivering as you quickly turned the hot water on and adding a bit of cold water to it in order to make it bearable. As soon as the shower started, you were in, shivering and teeth chattering as the warmth settled in. Standing there for a while to let the bathroom steam up and to get yourself really fucking warm before continuing on.
Cursing as you scrubbed your scalp, skin red from the hot water, not that you minded much. Trying to relax yourself by scrubbing your scalp in a certain way. But it sadly didn't seem to do much, even as you got to washing your body. Noticing the large bruise on your stomach, you may have ran into a corner while drunk. So you brushed it off as that, but as you saw more scars, the more questions that filled your mind. But even excuses couldn't shake the thoughts away, something happened. Something definitely fucking happened. But what!? It was starting to give you a headache, groaning as you sat down under the water, not even bothering to wash the conditioner out. Just letting the water hit your hair, watching as water dropped down your face and down onto your body or onto the floor.
After your hair felt clean you turned the shower and water off and got out, drying yourself with a towel and putting clothes on. Drying your hair in that same bathroom, anything to try and shorten the amount of time you would have to spend in the cold air. And when you did, you immediately started to cook your breakfast, making another mental note that you need to go shopping.
You went into work, happy to be back actually, but as you walked in, you noticed the stares, and surprised looks. The whispers and gossip. Why? You have no idea, nothing felt right. You felt way better when you woke up that morning, but just like before, your house felt too empty and dull.
You clocked in and started on work, being introduced to some of the new dogs. Getting to know them and even start small on the training. Mostly the obstacle course, testing their stamina and their speed. Seeing which one was a quick thinker and which one wasn't, it was going pretty well, until Shanks came by.
"Hey! Y/N! I see you left that big fluffy dog at home today," he said with a big smile.
Eh?
"What...dog? I don't have one," you said confused. You watched as Shanks's bright face turned dull with concern.
"What do you mean you don't have a dog? Everyone has been talking about how Pyro isn't by your side, some of the smaller dogs were about excited to see him today," Shanks said, brows furrowed.
"Are you all pulling a prank on me or something," you suddenly asked, coldly.
"Y/N, you really don't remembe-"
"Shanks I have never had a dog since I moved out and got my own place. I don't know what your on but you need to get off of it."
This stunned the red haired male as you walked away, a scowl on your face, this was bad. All the talk this morning made him confused, some of them have even asked him about it, telling them that he had no idea. Shanks knew you better than anyone other than Isuka, hell she wasn't even here. You weren't supposed to be here either. Hearing how you got ticked off because of your overworking hours because you were out injured. It was like all of your memories were whipped away, like they never existed in the first place. Shanks needed to know more, if it was really as bad as he thought it was, then it might get bloody. Because not only were you effected, you, his friend that felt like a child that he adopted. But the old man's child, one of the kings children, and not only that, but Shanks's old man.
You grumbled, stomping down the hall ,looking for a inflating suit to put on. Maybe you could find someone to be your partner in training a dog in attacking. But it seemed like all of them were gone, this made you even more irritated than before. It was all so frustrating, the cold, the emptiness, the dullness, the whispers, the loneliness. It was getting to you, but for what fucking reason!? You have always been alone since you broke up with Law, and you never had a damn problem with it.
So why now? Why were you having problems? Why was everything you heard not true, they were all pranking you. They had to be. None of their words were real.
Shanks walked down the hallway, a lonely and creepy hallway, phone in hand as he dialed a number. Putting it up to his ear as it ringed, waiting for the woman to pick up.
"Hello?"
"Whitey Bay, we have a problem."

Okay, I need to say something

I CANNOT be the only one who immediately turned from sad to a fucking small ankle biting dog when I saw Teach. Like god damn! Why does he have to smile like that!? This flashback was supposed to be about Ace, not the dude that brought him to his death!

Dancing In The Rain
Chapter 11
WARNING: Yandere behavior
Werewolf!Ace x GN!Reader
It's been three weeks since Ace came back injured, those two weeks you were healing yourself. Your feet got better to the point that you can walk, that meant you can work. But that also meant working overtime without a raise or any money for it. At the end of the day, your feet ached as much as they did when you were healing. Not only that but you were tired, overworked and body sore, almost too sore to even do anything other than plop down. You couldn't even cook, just ordering food, hell you were almost too tired to eat. Ace had to force you to eat, in fact he was right by you almost the entire time you worked. Even growling at the dogs that you trained, watching as they protected you. But luck was on his side when one of your coworkers suggested that he was trained a bit. Happily against your legs and then charging fully force at the guy, knocking him over.
Isuka didn't like it at first, but when he protected her, she started to trust him. Bringing in dog cookie treats for him, which he oh so happily enjoyed. She even whined whenever you pretend to give him one, and it was an actual cookie. He had whined about how bitter they actually were.
You sat at a table in the lunch room eating a salad, you had gained a bit of weight when healing. So you tried to be healthy, it made Ace whine everytime he saw you order salad and healthy stuff. Always thinking that it was for him but was extremely happy when you ordered meat. 'Pyro' was quickly eating a bacon and overeasy egg toast sandwich. Licking his lips when the yolk got on his lips. Then happily drinking some green tea, getting oats and rubs every now and again.
When a couple of creepy coworkers entered the room, he started to growl, a very low growl. The amount of times he has seen them staring at you whenever you bend over a little bit. Laughing and pointing, he didn't like it, the fact that they were staring at you, a lustful look in their eyes, their pointing. It angered him to his core, becoming possessive whenever they got home. He's seen them following you outside to your car, it disgusted him.
"Hey bud, what's the matter," you whispered, giving a rub to his shoulders, a shudder left him. Your nails scratching a little bit did something to him. Looking to the other side of the room where the fridge was, realizing that he was growling over the guys that gathered and laughed about something, "hey, it's alright. They're not going to do anything. Especially when you're here."
A soft giggle leaving your lips, bringing the fork up to your mouth, opening and then wrapping your lips around the fork. Pulling the fork out and started chewing, brown eyes staring up at your face.
"Hey there, Y/N is it?"
You turned around to one of the boys that was walking towards you.
"Yeah, it's Y/N."
"Ah, I thought that was your name. I was wanting to know if maybe you would like to go to a party, some of the other coworkers are going. I can even find someone to babysit that-" 'Pyro' growled, "your dog."
Something didn't feel right about him, how he spoke, how the tone changed with different words. Not only that, but Ace usually didn't act like this with most of the men in the building.
"Hmm, no thank you. I'm currently being worked overtime and by the time I'm home I'm too tired to even turn the TV on. And 'Pyro' is a mess when he isn't with me. He has severe separation anxiety, I guess it's that German Shepherd part of him," you half joked, pulling him close to you. His head on your thigh, glaring up at the disgusting man.
"Aah, well, it's a shame. If you ever change your mind, here's my number-" Ace snapped at his hand when he was handing you the piece of paper. He stumbled back, holding his hand as the paper fell.
You put all of your things up and stood up, excusing yourself as politely as possible. Putting Ace on the leash as walked out of the lunch room, missing how they stared at you. Walking over to your locker and putting everything away, taking a deep sigh. Taking the Vaseline red rose tined chapstick, using the mirror to help you apply it. Making sure not to get any on anything other than your lips.
"You know Ace, you have to stop being so possessive. You may get me fired," you half joked, getting on your knees and patting his head. Those brown eyes softened at your affection, happily wagging that fluffy tail of his, "come on, just about 5 or 6 more hours to go."
~~
Correction, it was 9 hours, the last two was cleaning almost the whole fucking building. The time you stood up, every bone in your body popped fucking twice. TWICE. Even getting in the care was hard, forcing yourself to turn the car on. Ace sitting in the passenger seat, watching you as you struggled. Watching the raid carefully, once he was sure that no one would see him, he started to shift. Hearing the familiar bone cracking a, and the painful ripping of skin made your eyes go wide. He was fucking shifting in your car.
"Ace what the hell are you doing!?" You yelled, scanning the area to look for anyone that may see him. The road was kind of empty, the side walks seemed creepy. The orange tinted lights seemed to make you extra sleepy.
"Making sure you don't crash the car," reaching into the backseat and grabbing a pair of boxers and sweatpants. Raising his hips a bit and putting them on, as always, they were hanging off of his hips. V-line and happy trail on display, leaning towards you as you made a turn into a road.
Damn him, for being so cute and sexy. How could some kind of His make a creature like him, so kind, strong, handsome, cute, protective. Damn whatever God did make him, hell Ace may be a Good himself.
Pulling up to your house and parking outside, turning the vehicle off and sighing. Grabbing your stuff as Ace opened his door, walked around, and opened your door. Once you had everything in your hand, you felt an arm wrap around your torso and one wrapping underneath your thighs. Cradling you to his chest as he shut the car door and walked up to the house. Too tired to even protest against Ace, just blushing a bit. His warm body made you feel like you were in your bed, under the covers, in a nice winter night. It was pretty chilly.
Lazily unlocking the door, opening the door and the kind gentleman closing it. Walking over to the hallway and walking down it, squinting his eyes in the darkness. Opening the door and softly walking in, setting you down on your bed. And being the kind gentleman once again, he took your shoes and socks off. Letting your hair down and taking your uniform off, but quickly putting something over you. Tucking you in and wiping some of your bangs away.
God, you were so beautiful, so kind and generous. A soft smile tugging on his lips as he walked out of your room, closing the door. Tip toeing to the living room and plopping onto the couch, resting the sore body of his. Even his body got sore, energy drained, turning into a dog and staying in that form for a while drained a lot of his energy. Laying down on the couch and staring up at the ceiling.
Thinking about that day, when he fought Law, thinking about the walk back. Thinking about what Izou said.
How for the first time in forever his tone was filled with sorrow, how he talked about his past so freely, it was the first time. Izou was always so sensitive about his past, unless it was about his little sister Kiku. But was Izou right about what he said? Was he really becoming a possessive werewolf, fighting anyone for you to prove to you that he's strong?
Ace shook his head to shake the thoughts out, turning onto his side to sleep. He needed it, if you could barely drive at night then he would need to be the one to be awake. Staring at blank dark TV, very slowly shutting his eyes and falling asleep.
~~
A loud knock erupted his sleep, looking around groggily to see that it was 6:47 AM. Your alarm should have gotten off at least 20 minutes ago.
Jumping up, not thinking straight as he stumbled to the door, opening it up.
"Hm, what do you need?" He grumbled. Blinking a few times, the face was familiar, very familiar.
It was one of the perverts.
Something in his mind snapped, a wicked and possessive thought made him stand up tall. Eyes becoming dark, puffing his chest out as in a challenge to the man. Watching as the man turned from cocky to looking a little pup with his tail between his legs.
"Is there something you need, or are you just waisting my precious sleeping time?" Ace asked, raising a brow. In the corner of his eye, he noticed two women and the rest of the boys, damn, something was going on.
"I uhm, is Y/N by any chance live here?" He asked, seeming to start regretting his decision.
"What's in it to you?" He got closer to the man.
"Well, we work together and our boss said that they could have two days off. Shanks said something to them," sweat started to run down his face.
"Hm, well thank you for letting me know, I'll make sure to tell them. Now, if you don't mind he asking you. Leave the property, I don't like the thought of a stranger on these steps of my house," Ace growled. Hearing a soft gasp from a couple of the women.
The man nodded as quickly getting off and porch and away from the house. Leaning against the door frame and watched them, waiting for them to leave, brows furrowed. One of the ladies waved at him and winked before being dragged by her boyfriend into the car. Watching as they drove off, head tilting to the side as he fixed his sweatpants, scratching his happy trail before yawning loudly.
"Ace? What are you doing?"
Turning to your tired form, uniform on in a messy way, hair was also up in a messy way.
"Making sure you don't get kidnapped," Ace said, closing the door. Walking towards you and started to usher you back to your bed.
"Ace, we need to get going-"
"Noooo we don't. Your coworkers were here and told me that Shanks out a word in this the bitchy boss. And now you have two days off, now get back in bed!" Grabbing the keys and setting them on the counter, continuing to usher you back into your bed.
It was kind of like herding cattle, or herding a sheep back to the herd. Opening the door for you and then closing it, being kind enough to look away when you changed into more comfortable clothing. Then once that was done and over with, he turned the lights off and was about to leave-
"Ace, were you really trying to save me from being kidnapped?" You asked, voice scratchy.
Oh boy.
"Well, uhm. Yes I kind of was. I wasn't sure if they were going to actually do it, but they did show up and you didn't them your address. Plus they creep me out," he mumbled the last part, turning to look at your slightly scared expression, "but don't worry! I scared them off with my oh so manly body!"
"You have freckles dotted on your skin like a teenager just starting to got through puberty."
He let out a terrified and very offended gasp, looking at you with wide eyes and wide mouth.
"How, dare you! Do you know how long it took me to get this body?"
"Probably not very long, I haven't seen you workout once so I think it's permanent."
You let out a soft chuckle, but it left when Ace walked over to you.
"Ace, what are you doing!?"
"Imma show you just how manly I can be!" He plopped on your bed and just laid next to you, "if any robber or if those men come back and really do try to kidnap you. I bet they'll be scared away by my body. You just watch."
You laughed again, snorting even, making Ace's heart skip a beat as you covered your mouth. Apologizing for it, God you were adorable.
A pout appeared on his lips as he crossed his arms, mumbling like a heart little baby.
"Ace, I'm not doubting you in any way. I believe that you're strong, you are a damn werewolf, so I'm not doubting your strength. But sometimes it's not always the body, it's the eyes that can tell the most things. Your body may say one thing, but your eyes show the truth, that's also why it can be hard to make eye contact-"
Your voice blurred out as you continued to talk, letting you ramble on. Finding it adorable about how you knew a lot about body posture and eyes.
"That's all very interesting, but what about sleep?"
You only grumbled, curling up under the blanket and cursing as you yawned. A soft smirk on the dark haired male's lips. Watching as your body relaxed, happy that you had two days off. He kept his promise, being on alert the whole time while you rested. Keeping his ears open and eyes wide as he looked around the dark room, even looking at the window. But as time passes, and everything was calm and left right, he also fell asleep, leaning his head against yours.
~~
Law hissed, stomping around the dark, dim lit, wet, and blood smelling stone basement. Flipping through pages of old books, medicine, old stories, old folk tales, urban legends. Trying to find fucking ANYTHING. Anything to try and fully defeat that shithead, to try and find anything that could be drawing him to the blood. Finding anything to you keep you an immortal so he could feast on your forever.
He was hungry.
He was angry.
Once again, the book was useless, letting out a irritated cry as he threw the book at the wall. Hearing it crack as it fell to the floor. 312 years he has been alive, and never, NEVER, has he had anyone like you. Anyone with such delicious and mouth watering blood, not being able to get any from you was making him mad. That damn mut that you had, your 'good boy' who always listened to you. Law knew that you knew, you knew about Ace and Law too. But the fact that you trusted a creature that enjoyed ripping people apart, going after women, happily kidnapping and giving them a painful process to shift. Law wasn't that bad, vampires were more modest, more polite. Of course they were blood thirsty and horny, but they didn't tear people apart. They just sucked blood, shifting into a vampire wasn't as painful.
Throwing book after book and after book around to find nothing, making him bare his fangs. Opening up a glass cabin and grabbing a wine glass, opening up a blood wine bottle and pouring it into the glass. After drinking the glass, he threw the cup and just grabbed the bottle. Chugging it as he the went on the rampage in the room, until he found a book. A book of werewolves, a very old book, it was so old that it was written in a very ancient writing.
Translating word by word, it was things that ticked them off, how their behavior matched with natural wild wolves. Not only that, but which breed their behavior matches best, what made them go crazy. What made the crave humans if they didn't eat them, what just made them snap.
Werewolves were more possessive than normal wolves, their scent glands stronger. Mating seasons were longer, more breeding driven. Possibly because they were almost brought to extinction. It made Law smirk, Ace was a hot head, easily angered, he was going to show you.
Law was going to show you how bad Ace can be, how you can't trust him. He was going to give you PTSD so that way you would want to stay by him. Making you believe that he was better and was going to be safer with him.
It made him laugh, he already had a plan, if it worked though, those creepy coworkers didn't seem to strong and seemed cocky.
"Uhm, sir, excuse me?" One of the men walked in, looking at his hunched over form. His eyes looking around the dark and large basement, books thrown everywhere.
"Did you do what I asked?" Law asked coldly.
"Well yeah, but uhm, we didn't them."
Law stopped.
"You didn't get Y/N?"
"No, there was a strange man there. I think he's their boyfriend-"
A book was thrown at him, making him wince.
"You could have maybe came up with something quick to distract him! I asked you to do one simple thing for a very good pay and you failed!" Law growled, showing his fangs. It seemed to shaken him up.
"I! Uhm, it's your fault in the first place! You shouldn't be trying to kidnap anyone!"
His eyes widened in fear as Law took steps towards him, a scowl on his face.
Faint screams left the basement, his friends followed.
~~
"What happened to Ace again Izou?"
"He was fighting a vampire, it was pretty bloody when Shanks and I appeared," he hummed, taking a sip from the hot green tea.
Marco snorted.
"Of course he was. I knew I scent some kind of tension in that house when we got there," Marco chuckled and pinched the bridge of his nose.
The rest of the boys laughed loudly.
"Where is he anyways?"
"He's now a pet dog for a K-9 dog trainer. He also got them injured, thorns in their feet and it seemed they also had a bit of a cold," Marco sighed, taking bites out of his food.
Thatch laughed loudly.
"A pet dog!? He's a fucking pet dog!? You're telling me that he's doing tricks and being dressed up in dog clothing!? Being washed in some kind strawberry shampoo or something!? Pfft!" Thatch fell to his knees, clutching his stomach.
The whole room was filled with loud laughter, some of them choking on their food. Thankfully Pops was asleep, if he were to hear about Ace, things wouldn't turn out good for you and Ace.
~~
"Slow down Ace! You're going to choke! Eh!? You fell asleep!?" You yelled as Ace was snoring, head laid back, mouth full as snores left his mouth.
You were fixing him lunch in a thanks for him looking out for you. Sighing as you focused on cooking more meat for him, a faint blush on your cheeks.
When you woke up from your nap, you felt hot breaths on the top of your head, a warm body against you. Ace was leaning his head on top of yours, arm wrapped around you. It was enough for you to start freaking out. The air conditioning was shut off so the house was very warm. The stove being on didn't help. There was some popsicles in the freezer that you made to help cool the both of you off. Just the thought of one now made your mouth water.
"More please!" Ace said, thrusting his plate to you. Making you laugh as you grabbed his plate. Putting more food on it and giving it back, almost immediately he dives right in. Falling asleep once again, he's learned to not fall in his food when passing out.
It was less of a mess for you, turning the stove off and putting the rest of the food on his plate. Putting the pan in the sink, opening the fridge and grabbing one of the popsicles. Pulling one out and start sucking on it. Cooling down as soon as it entered your mouth. Leaning against the counter and relaxed, not noticing the look in Ace's eyes as he stared at you. But when a piece of food fell off of his fork he went back to shoving down his throat.
Enjoying the wonderful flavor that your amazing skills made, even the smell. The meat you always made some juicy, the amount of flavor mixed with the other food. God he loved it.
Your satisfying coldness was interrupted by the sound of a gag, looking at Ace as be hanged on the island with his fist. Coughing and used his other hand to punch his chest.
Setting your popsicle on the wrapper and quickly getting him a large cup of water. Rushing over to him and tried to give him the water but Ace refused it. Turning away and he continued to cough and gag.
"I-I'm fi-i-ine."
"No you're not! Drink some water! I told you not to eat so fast!" You scolded, continuing to try and get him to drink water.
"No no, I-I'm not cho-o-oking. I-" he coughed hard, finally getting his breath under control, "the fork, it hit the back of my throat-"
Ace gagged again.
Damn, he most likely was a virgin.
"You really are a virgin, aren't you?" Of course your mind had to be dirty.
Ace whipped his head around so quick to look at you. A strong red blush painted his cheeks.
"What the hell does that have to do anything!? I just accidentally shoved it too far-" he stopped when you made that face, he realized it now, "you! Stop being so damn dirty minded!"
You laughed loudly, walking back to your popsicle, sucking on it once again. Staring at him as he squinted at you, a judgemental look in his eyes.
"You know, it would be hard to believe if you said you're not a virgin since your too cute," you said, a soft smile on your face.
"Don't say that to me! You don't know me!"
Your laughter rang loudly.
