Crab Day

okay, so here's a new info post from the top.

the problem: tumblr is extremely extremely in debt. the current model is not profitable. this is why they are trying to turn the site into a shit clone of every other social media site, so they can attract new users and their money.

solution: not a ton of people can afford a long-term subscriptions like ad-free. however, many of us CAN afford $3 to inflict crabs on another unsuspecting user. (and those that can't, can still enjoy crabs everywhere)

the idea: in the grand traditions of mishapocalypses and goncharovs and tumblr users' obsession with [random inconsequential thing] Days, we create a fund drive/holiday on July 29th, dubbed Crab Day. buy your friends crabs. buy your enemies crabs. blaze posts. post memes. change ur icon. whatever. actually put your money where your mouth is and show @staff that there actually IS profit motive to listen to the current users about what we want this site to look like. (and yes, that means accessibility features too. we currently have zero leverage to demand these features. let's change that.)

i don't know if this will actually go anywhere. worst case scenario, a few of us have fun, tumblr gets a small amount of money, and nothing changes. best case though, we actually provide incentive to keep our stupid hellsite unique.

Buckle up cuz this kind of long

This Juliette(30 yrs) and her daughter Sophie (4 months) & I ship her (Juliette) with Bo Sinclair

Summary: Juliette was a single mom before meeting Bo. She also lived in Ambrose as a child before situations led them to move, however she wasn’t too much involved the Sinclair, she barely knew them. She spent most of her adult life in the military, and because of that she’s pretty familiar with firearms, hand to hand combat, observation and communications skills, analyzing the area (weather and other conditions), some things in technology and coding, and medical skills. Juliette is very wary with everyone, that increased by a lot after having Sophie, she’s sure to carry something with her in secret, just in case. After getting out of the military, she took Sophie and disappeared, not telling her family or what’s left of it where she would be. She moved back to Ambrose, knowing at this point it would be ditched. She had the intention knowing that no one will be there to bother or recognize them, plus getting to grocery stores or any others of that source are not too much of a drive if what’s close by isn’t too useful any more.

- there is a large chance that she had committed a murder of some sort that contributed to her running away never to be heard of, which would explain why she wasn’t too taken a back by Bo and his brothers casually committing homicide when they get chance. To be honest, she probably committed as much as them, especially with being protective of her baby

-lmao she also has to murder to keep her family safe, she’s big on chemistry (and some of biology but mainly chemistry) and will spend her free time experimenting with liquids and substances. This brought her comfort in the past and it still does to this day. Tactics she use revolve around, poisoning, aromas. (Knocking out, applying to the victim to find them), putting them to sleep, burning skin (goes for the face), and mainly using victims to test how certain things work. Bo mainly persuades her to do this, saying that it will further hear research will giving Vincent and him and advantage. She cleans and sterilizes herself and everything she uses to, once again, not harm her family.

Her and Bo’s story: Juliette’s car broke down after driving out of the area and back. She thought Sophie and herself were the only ones left in the town, so she assumed everything was accessible and easy to just take. Stopped by Bo’s station, still with that in thought, just walked in and grabbed what she needed, having some knowledge of what she had been taught in her military days. She was interrupted by Bo’s AHEM, and she immediately went into protective mode, gripping a small pocket knife she hide in a pocket of her dress. Once tension was cooled, she explains her situation and what she needs. She kept pushing off Bo in a way, before just giving in and letting him helped. Friendly conversation started, introduced herself and Sophie, who seemed to get along with Bo easily. Bo was shocked that she decided to move to a ghost town.

In order of what lead up to their confirmed relationship:

- casual hangout Bo trying to find a way to kill her but refrains cause she has a baby and just opening up about little things

- Bo sees Jules stalking out in the woods, possibly seeing her wielding an axe and a jar of some liquid

- Jules eventually finds out Bo’s true intentions and colors, but keeps it to herself

- After being distracted a ton, having things get in the way, and then finding about her time in the military, Bo, frustrated, gives up on trying to kill her and just lets her live her life

- Jules finds out about Lester and Vincent

-Jules catches Bo in the middle of his murderous crusade, also forcing her to reveal her violent past. This has them avoid contact for a hot minute

- They agree to face each other again, opening up about the darkest parts of their lives, growing them close.

-They come by to see each other often, either for a small chat, for dinner, a game of cards, and drink or two, anything really. Bo mainly initiated.

- As he carried out his “jobs”, he found himself worrying for Jules and Sophie’s safety, leading him to realize he caught a case of the good ol ✨feelings✨

- After spending their times closer, sometimes having his siblings participate and embarrass him or bringing over lil Sophie, Bo eventually confessed, to where Juliette accepted.

- Not too long after, Juliette and Sophie moved in with them, Bo stepped up to the role of Sophie’s father, despite hesitating harshly at first, and Juliette helped out Vince and Bo when “visitors” got way too out off hand, and the rest of history.

Fun facts:

- Juliette could beat Bo’s a$$ up and down the street, which is why he backed up on trying to kill her once he found out

-Juliette would often run her finger along Bo’s wrist scars, zoning out a bit. Sometimes she plant a kiss on them. She often wants to cry whenever she’s reminded of them. How could anyone do that to their child???

-Sophie giggles whenever she sees Vincent. She tries touching his mask and automatically laughs at anything he does, which surprises Vincent but makes him very happy. If anything, she’s scared of Lester.

-Sophie likes bears, she coos at and becomes curiously and smiley and at anything that resembles a bear. She has a favorite plush teddy bear, the mobile over her crib has bears, some of her clothing has bear prints, some toys have bears on them, anything Jules can find that is bear themed, she snatches it. Vincent had even made her a small wax sculpture of a bear, which sits on a shelf in the baby’s room

-She hasn’t even had teeth starting to grow in and isn’t even close to the time where she starts teething, but she likes to try and bite, anything.

-Bo’s rock music will calm down Sophie in an instant

-Juliette teaches Bo how to actually cook now that the relationship is progressing further. Bo usually has Vincent do it.

-Bo often panics out of nowhere about Sophie, thinking he’ll be just like his mother and cause harm to her. Juliette is patient with him and will talk him down

-Bo is confused yet intrigued by Juliette’s chemistry fascination

- voice claims: Juliette - Amanda Seyfried (with a bit of a southern twang), Sophie - idk baby noises, mostly cooing, babbling and soft giggling
