For anyone interested, I’ve been working on a little aesthetics pinterest for my characters and I really love the way it is turning out.

Also, this is something I’ve been wondering for a while, does anyone have an opinion on introducing characters before they’ve come up in a story? Because I’m constantly thorn between posting about them (and spoiling half my plot in the process) and waiting to do so until he appears in the story.

🌺 Goodnight 🌺

Akela reads a story to Makaio every night before he goes to bed. He loves it and he isn’t the only one. Kona loves laying on the floor when Akela is reading.

Though it has to be said he normally falls asleep before the story is even over. Being the active boy that he is, this comes as no surprise for his parents, who can’t deny that a calm, asleep Makaio brings a calm that doesn’t exist otherwise.

Why did you choose your url?:

Skylar is the online name I’ve been using since I was 12 and telling sims stories was what I wanted to do on this blog, so I put it all together and voilà (Plus alliteration is always nice)

how long have you been on tumblr?:

I created my blog just over two year with a different username and angle but I have been “active” with this one for about 14 months

do you have a queue tag?:

I barely use my queue, so no

why did you start your blog in the first place?:

I started my blog to help myself with finishing a story. I’m someone who starts a lot of things and then never finishes them. So, I though if I shared it with others maybe that would help me. That’s gone worse than I hoped it would, but I’m still here so I find is a positive overall.

why did you choose your icon/pfp?:

It’s the last successful render I made and I really like it. Plus, I just really like Juliette and her story so that is why I chose to make the render of her in the first place.

why did you choose your header?:

It’s Mira’s painting room and the most beautiful room I have created up till this point. Though I’m thinking of changing my whole theme so who knows how long it will stay there.

Adopting a dog has been a long time dream for Akela and Kai and when he visited their local shelter he found the perfect dog; Kona! A five year old kings shepherd.

He took her home and surprised his wife, and surprised she was But she adores Kona and now Akela has some company before the rest of her family wakes up in the morning.

Makaoi also adores the new family member, but Kona is still getting used to the little human who keeps talking about his day to her.

POST PLUS IS COMING, WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT!

Despite the fancy survey, changes to the UI and TOS reveal we’re getting the service in the future whether we want it or not. Obviously, Post+ is a terrible idea that is trying to bank revenue on user content. Unlike patreon or onlyfans, tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content. The legality of this is NOT in the users favor and as the new tumblr TOS states, said users will be entirely liable for whatever legal matters arise.

SO WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Besides filling out the survey, it’s time to show tumblr we mean business and show our displeasure by hitting them where it hurts.

Ad revenue.

We’re proposing a 24 hour log off as phase one of this protest.

Hey everyone! It’s been a little while...

I finished my exams earlier this week and am now waiting for the results. Honestly, they’re not going to be great and I’m not even sure I will pass at all. (but that’s okay too, maybe the extra year is just what I need before starting uni) 

Because I don’t have anything to do at the moment though, I’m preparing to start posing again! I’m trying to make some renders but it’s not going the way I want it to yet.

I just wanted to give everyone a little update and share this render that I do like, I’m not fully back yet but I’m exited!
