My inspiration to become a cosmetic nurse and acne specialist came from my obsession in clearing my skin after it took over my entire face. When I was 26 years old I dreamt about owning a business. When starting a skincare routine you should start as simple as possible then add products later on. 3 products you need to start with: 1. Cleanser 2. Moisturizer 3. Sunscreen Then later on, you can add another way to cleanse like oil cleanser or micellar water. Transformation Story Time ⤵️ This client came in for an Advanced Acne Treatment but when she mentioned she was just out in the sun all day for snowboarding the day before, we decided to give her the Custom Facial instead. If I would have given her the advance acne treatment, her skin may have showed some irritation because it is a more aggressive treatment than the Custom Facial and your skin will always be more sensitive with any treatment when you were just out in the sun prior. Her custom facial consisted of a hydrating and calming mask with gentle exfoliation and LED Therapy to rejuvenate her skin after a fun activity out in the sun! Since she was concerned about her acne, we also looked at her skincare routine and tweaked it. Funny enough, the routine I gave her helped clear her acne so she didn’t have to come back for the advance acne treatment… 😅 Less money for me but it truly made me happy to see the transformation and helped her with her skin through proper skincare routine.
