something about tkk/cobra kai i think about is how daniel is smitten with a ridiculous silly johnny doing something wildly stupid and wanting him carnally, and the important thing of course is that johnny will see a ridiculous silly daniel doing something wildly stupid and want him carnally, and this is why they're equals in all things
Man, he was such a twerp back then.
Real pain in the ass.
But he always fought for what he believe.
He never backed down from a fight, even when he should have.
The difference between miyagi-do vs eagle fang training is, besides the obvious, that you leave eagle fang training with a trauma bond with your fellow teens akin to a group of people who escaped a mild tragedy, let’s say an elevator crash, together over whatever ludicrous method johnny thought up when he was almost certainly half in the bag, but it will be a story for the rest of your life. Conversely, at miyagi-do, you can spend weeks doing some of the most boring training montages known to man, but every so often daniel will reveal a story from his childhood so bizarre and full of child endangerment that it will instantly make large facets of his personality make sense but raise a million other questions that won’t be answered until he tells his next completely unrelated anecdote. However, you leave both with the same general vibe of “Jesus Christ.”
hello-- I watched all of the karate kid movies a few months ago, and then cobra kai out of curiosity, read a bunch of incredible fanfic, and then rewatched it again on Netflix, and now all I want to do is draw these men, so I made this blog >_>
