“Let’s do something stupid,” Nico says. Lewis watches his eyes in the rearview mirror, illuminated by the small strip of light slanting across the horizon and focused on the road. Nico turns the wheel one-handed, deftly navigating the Rimac around the bends of the Monaco mountains. 

“Stupid how?” says Lewis, twisting to face Nico and leaning half over the console. 

Nico glances towards Lewis and raises his eyebrows. “Like this,” he says, and steers the car clear off the road and onto the grassy strip beside the limestone cliff face. The car blinks off, its subtle electric hum silenced, and then Nico is unfastening his seatbelt and clambering across the console into Lewis’s lap. Lewis ends up with two armfuls of Nico, who is not quite as slender as he used to be. 

“How the fuck do you drop these seats,” Nico growls, reaching past Lewis to paw at the gap between the seat and the door. Lewis gets a faceful of his hair, soft and scented like sea-salt. 

Lewis shakes his head, swallows, and quickly decides he’s on board with Nico’s plan. 

“I think you just—” he says, reaching past Nico and nearly knocking him off Lewis’s lap to fumble at the screen on the dashboard. He locates the display that adjusts the seats and pokes at the buttons on screen until the seat begins to fold backwards. It goes with a rather unsexy mechanical buzz, flattening smoothly. Lewis misses the jolt and thud of the seats in an old convertible. 

“Oh shit,” says Nico, ducking quickly down to press his cheek to Lewis’s chest. 

“What?” says Lewis, before a bright light illuminates the plush interior of the car—someone else’s high beams flashing past. “Who the fuck is driving at this hour?” 

Nico shrugs, already shoving a hand down Lewis’s pants. Lewis groans and bucks when Nico closes a hand around his cock, pulling it out half-hard. Lewis shudders when he brings his hand up to his mouth, spits in his palm, and wraps it back around Lewis. He nearly whites out at the first rough pull. 

Nico laughs to himself, jerking Lewis with little care for Lewis’s comfort. Lewis finds himself getting off on it anyway, like he usually does with Nico. 

“And they say spontaneity dies with old age…” says Nico.

It doesn’t even make sense how he got here, his body trembling like a bowstring between Nico and Seb. He remembers climbing out of the car after Abu Dhabi, watching the podium ceremony from the garage, his eyes fixed on the way Lewis cupped a hand around the back of Charles’s head and tipped the bottle of champagne towards his lips to drink. He remembers wandering through the paddock, confetti stuck to the sweat on his brow, and finding Seb leaning against the outside of the Ferrari garage, Nico wrapped around him and whispering in his ear. 

“Slower,” says Nico, his other arm winding around Mick’s stomach. He pulls Mick’s hips back into him, providing substantial resistance that forces Mick to relax his pace. He fucks in and out of Seb millimetre by millimetre, gritting his jaw against the unbearable drag of Seb’s rim. “I’m going to teach you how to be cruel,” Nico babbles. “Like he’s cruel.” Nico bites the lobe of Mick’s ear, runs his tongue over it. Mick imagines Nico biting down around a mouthful of diamond earrings, another body pressed to his front. “You don’t get anywhere by being nice.”
