Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone. The plan for today was to put up an audio Christmas card to wish you all good tidings, but unfortunately, a seasonal illness has taken me out of commission (yes, gods get sick too, did you think hot springs were for your benefit?). So instead of a sentimental audio message, here's a gif of my favorite Christmas movie.

In all seriousness, thank you all for a great first full year of the series. I've learned a lot, and I hope you've all enjoyed listening to me figure out what I'm doing. I especially want to thank Lauren, Phyrus, Jason, Chrisi, Julia, and Delaney for being such a fantastic cast in Duality: I can never thank you enough for giving that story so much life, and I hope to work with all of you again very soon.

I'm not sure what next year holds for the series. I am working on another mini-series in the vein of Duality, featuring some familiar characters. In addition, I would like to do some of the more traditional, anthology style stories of the first two seasons, but unfortunately, my schedule for next year has me unsure of what I'll be capable of doing.

You haven't heard the last of me, but I will be in the mines for a while. I'm gonna work hard to give you all the kind of show you deserve. Thanks for your support. And as always, I hope I've been able to help.

Hello folks. I've been trying to plan out production for the next year of my show. The last two years, I've written and produced every aspect of the show and only just moved to full cast during my most reason set of stories. Unfortunately, as I'm working on putting together next season, I'm realizing that it's getting unfeasible to do a set of three anthology stories while I'm also working on the next multi-part story, especially when I'm also going to be spending a lot of next year taking big steps in my real life. I really want to give the show at least one more year to connect with audiences, but it's probably not gonna happen unless I find some help. If anyone is familiar with the show, or is even just interested in doing some writing/cowriting with someone else, let's chat. Thanks.

In most horror stories, death or insanity are seen as the greatest consequences the protagonist can face. And while I respect those, as they are very terrifying beasts to confront, there is a different consequence that has always been the most soul-shakingly scary: the loss of identity.

The idea the some person, force, or transformation could force you to act against your nature is horrifying. That you could consciously feel your body and mind changing into something else, struggling to hold on to a sense of self that will inevitably fade away makes me shiver. That the reshaping of your mind could be something you eventually accept, or even welcome and enjoy, is a kind of horror that keeps me up at night.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers makes my knees knock. Dracula and Carmilla make me feel like a lost child. I can't listen to The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals without squirming. Vampires have filled many of my most frightening imaginations, and don't even get me started on Cybermen.

Conformity horror scares me far more than any massacre or madness. And I know that that's probably irrational, and I think that shakes me up even worse.
