I haven't watched a lot of the BTTF cartoon but imo the Marty & Verne dynamic is Marty immediately accepting Verne as the younger sibling he never had (he's the baby McFly) and Verne immediately latching onto Marty as the cool big brother he never had (Jules is not cool). Whereas the Marty and Jules dynamic is Jules being like 'i respect a well-grilled hotdog more than I respect you'.

OBJECTUM MOVIE REVIEW: HER (2014)
this movie is an insane fucking emotional rollercoaster, but it's really good at showing the relationship struggles of having a non-human partner like that. in this world, os / human relationships are normalized, but there is a short scene where theodore is being berated in public for his relationship. i do really appreciate how this movie shows relationships like this as not an insane concept though. theodore also shows a lot of growth in the movie. the ending is not awesome but no spoilers except for saying that the ending doesn't end with the dude forming a human relationship (which is GOOD.) this film also touches on objectophilia a little so if that makes you uncomfortable, either skip those parts or dont watch. 7/10 ⭐️
content warnings for the film if needed
