not sure if your ask box being closed means just requests are closed or asks in general, but just wanted to say that i love ur edits! i’m using a hawks one as a header and i love the appearance of my blog 1000% more. it’s just such a smooth edit? (and obviously a great character) but like it’s so sleek n i love the colours and the fading around hawks. your edits are fab!

saying “credit to the artist/creator” does not, and will never, count as proper credit.

the reason artists and editor’s ask to give credit in descriptions when you use their work as your header/icon/etc. is so that people know who that work was made by. this allows content creators to build up their following, which is extremely important since there is already such a huge issue with the severe lack of reblogs in comparison to likes.

when you only say “credit to the artist” the people viewing it have zero way of knowing who that artist is, and therefor that “credit” is completely useless. 

respect content creators. we do this for free, the least you can do is add one tiny phrase to your description to help out the content creator’s who’s content you are using.

My dudes let me just start by saying thank you so much!! I’ve been hoping this day would come while also being skeptical about if it ever would, but here it is!! So again thank you so much to those of you have been here since day one and those of you who are just joining the party! Every one of you are responsible for getting me where I am today, so as promised I’ll be holding another giveaway!

To enter, just reblog or like this post! One reblog = one entry and one like = one entry! (Only one reblog/like per person please, reblogging/liking it multiple times won’t get you more entries!)

If you win the scenario: Please be able to tell me the gender pronouns used, what character you want it to be with, and a prompt (basically just like a request you’d put in for headcanons)! An example would be:

“For the scenario, I would like Kirishima with a Fem! Reader going on a zoo date with her.”

If you win a match up, here would be an example of the information you could send in:

I’m a 5′1″ female with a caramel/mocha skin tone and dyed green curly hair! I’d say I have a curvy figure, however I wouldn’t say I’m overweight or thin. I have a ENFP personality type and I like to think I’m pretty funny and outgoing. My hobbies include baking, which is also my major, reading comics, doing anything crafty, hanging out outside when the weather is nice, watching movies, and I’m also a huuge dog person. I get distracted very easily, I suck at remembering things, and ‘Dork’ is practically my middle name by now. While I do get antsy if I stay home for too long, I also enjoy spending time just chilling by myself and I looove to nap. I’m also a bit of a hopeless romantic, but I’d never really show it unless I was in a relationship. I can be sarcastic and a biiit moody/grumpy if I’m tired, but I’m overall a very chill person and if you’re cool with me i’m cool with you!

If you win matching icons:

Please tell me what character you would like featured and what colors/theme you would like! (ex: blue and pink with polka dots, red and black with no pattern, etc. If you can, please try to give me html color codes! If not, if you just say “red and green” I will do whatever shade of red and green I think looks good!)

If you win a moodboard:

If it’s for a fic: Please give me a general run down of what the fic is about, what colors you would like to see used, and anything specific you’d like to see in it. (i.e. if it’s a fantasy au story, you could ask to have a sword or a dragon somewhere in the moodboard)

If it’s for an OC: Please be able to give a brief description of your oc as well as themes that strongly relate to them! (i.e. you could say you want a strong theme of plant life). You can also tell me if you want specific colors featured as well!

If it’s for a canon character: Just tell me which character you want featured!

For the matchups and scenarios, the same rules apply in regards to what I won’t write for so if you need to, you can read the rules over again here!

This event will be going on for ONE WEEK from Sunday, September 9th to Sunday September 16th, so be sure to reblog/like this by then! Once the event is over, I will make a post and I will tag all of the winners as well as send a message to them personally! If I don’t get a response within 2 days, a new winner will be chosen!
