Omegaverse. The neighbors have an even harder time during Tanjirou’s heats and Kyojuro’s ruts. Thankfully it calms down once Tanjirou gets pregnant.

Even though they kinda suffered because of it, some of the neighbors are pretty excited because Tanjirou got pregnant. Besides, they have never seen the couple so happy before; Tanjirou is practically glowing and Kyojuro can't stop grinning.

What if the rejected neighbor tried to spread rumors that Tanjirou slept with him and other residents as revenge and a big FUCK YOU to Kyojuro?

It backfires spectacularly because no one who has met Tanjirou believes him.

They just think he's pathetic at this point, but Kyojuro does get even more angry because that asshole is trying to make his precious husband look bad.

Tanjirou tears up because he heard the guy saying all those lies and he immediately looks for Kyojuro to tell him he would never do something like that because he loves him.

Kyojuro assures him he believes him and comforts him, but as soon as Tanjirou feels better and falls asleep comfortably in their bed, he leaves the apartment, anger coming back in waves, knocks at the asshole's door and punches him in the face.

No one makes his Tanjirou cry.

Nobody helps the asshole, they even clap at Kyojuro for finally putting him in his place.

Kyojuro looking pissed (murderous) every time he runs into that particular neighbor in the hallway; Tanjirou is the only thing that stops him from punching him in the face.

Besides, Tanjirou is constantly telling Kyojuro it's not worth it and reminds him he only loves him with kisses. He kisses Kyojuro in front of that neighbor so his husband feels better.

The neighbor is stupid is two reasons.

One, and the most important one, is Tanjiro and Kyojuro are happily married and are relationship goals!

Two, even if Tanjiro would agree, which he would never, did he forget the apartment complex has thin effing walls? Everyone would have known!

He definitely didn't think too much before doing what he did.

Besides, the other neighbors can tell how happy Kyojuro and Tanjirou are together.
